To put it plainly confidence is the characteristic I value most in myself, for its what best justifies who I am, the man I am.This would be best explained with a story:
Confidence, Mr.Confidence the namesake given to the athlete, the artist, the cadet, the student, the friend, the man..the boy. Bestowed by a now nameless passerby to a clueless freshman and then bolstered by advent spectators and perfect circumstance.
“Push yourself!! You’ve got this Mr.Confidence”
“Mr.Confidence has it under control” they’d say
And I remember thinking to myself have I got this? It’s pretty rough sigh but can’t quit yet
“Yeah, no problem this is easy ”
Sigh** maybe a brief break won’t hurt, Nah just a little more cant give...not yet
“That’s it, pfft light work” id say pretending I never struggle.
While I had yet to assimilate into being Mr.Confidence many held great faith in my capabilities and while I had my inhibitions/struggles I was fully determined to excel.
Fast forward a few months to my first PT(Physical Training) Competition, we are at the push-up portion of the competition my team is struggling they drop one after another next to me, Coltsneck, however, is still pushing strong,
“Up.Down.Up.Down..”the announcer drones
Then reverberating through the stands echoes
“You’ve got this Mr.Confidence don’t drop”
the voices of my downed teammates, spectators, and the like chant almost melodically
“Mr.Confidence haaayy-o,Mr.Confidence haaayy-o,Mr.Confidence haaayy-o”
Whispering to myself finally
“ oh yeah, right, that’s me, Mr.Confidence I can’t fail yet I’m Mr.confidence after all 84,85,92, what number am I at?..eh does it matter at this point? down.up.down..”
I dropped at ninety-six push-ups not enough to earn us a trophy nor a medal yet not enough to make me feel like a king. I had taken up the mantle and claimed my title becoming the soon-to-be famed ” Mr.Confidence”. Still the same clueless freshman, yet somehow more with a newfound sense of self-confidence and ability to truly embrace and discover who I am.
Fast forward a couple of years varsity athlete, fencer, AP student, PT Commander, decent grades, may not have the world but ive got my world at the palm of my hand. I had embraced my new title and made it my own.
“Mature, respectable a bit of an ego but he’s the kind of guy who's always there when you need him and although we’re the same age Id be lying if I said I didn’t admire him ”-Javier.G
“Not just a friend but a brother he's energetic, enthusiastic and he brings that same infectious confidence and energy wherever he goes”- William.Y
“Even if he’s busy as can be ive never seen him turn down an opportunity to help even a random person and his hilarious ego is infectious a unique guy” - Sarah.G
I had become the man i was meant to be the man i am today, though I've certainly made my fair share of mistakes I can say I’m proud of who I am. And the legacy I leave behind, Confidence, Mr. Confidence.
It is that very same confidence that I miraculously developed through perfect circumstance that will allow me to fully realize my dreams to allow me to go down my own path my of pursuing both Engineering and acting. A lofty goal to be sure but one I haven't a doubt I can accomplish because of this quality because of the man I am today I know my strengths who I am my weaknesses and I have a boundless desire to improve as i recognize my imperfections but still remain proud of who I am.
Wired Engineering Scholarship
My initial interest in pursuing computer and electrical engineering was sparked through my project led the way courses that I have been taking since my freshman year. through these courses, I have been exposed to all engineering disciplines and their respective nuances. However more specifically my sophomore year where I took the project Lead the way II Digital electronics in this course, I learned how to breadboard make a circuit calculate power voltage current etc. but also got experience with the digital aspects that can coincide with electrical engineering culminating with an introduction to computer engineering. Moreover, during a particular lesson on energy resources both sustainable and unsustainable, I was fascinated with how there is no readily accessible variant of hydropower for the masses similar to how there is readily accessible solar power. Upon further research into the topic, I discovered that it is possible if one could potentially create a perpetual motion device (does not exist yet) and I believe I could make this reality. Not only for altruistic reasons but also to immortalize my name accomplish something meaningful and take care of my future and my legacy. With this in mind, I fell in love with the entire concept of electrical engineering and computer engineering eventually deciding that this is what I wanted to do with my life for it allows me a great deal of freedom to explore the different possibilities that pursuing this career will afford me.
As for how i plan to accomplish my aims,I plan to study at Farleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan Campus Honors College, pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in Computer Engineering through their accelerated master's program. While in conjunction working to further my experience in regard to television and voice acting. The reason for this is that acting is also one of my passions and I would like to further explore potential pathways.Something that is very doable by taking advantage of the performing arts programs at both schools which coincide with their respective engineering programs. This way I am able to further my experience in both in conjunction with one another and following my completion of college I'll be able to pursue both careers getting an entry-level position in a company like Bethesda or Intelitech as well as working to get small acting roles. While I am well aware working to pursue both careers will be challenging, I know that I will be more than capable of doing so. Then as I progress in my life and my career, I will eventually veer off to pursuing one as my career. Either becoming the CEO of my own startup company or a famous television/voice actor. Ultimately my future aims allow me leeway to pursue my two passions while also avoiding restricting myself to a set path as I know that I as well as my goals and passions will change, and this plan accounts for this yet still provides some direction
Ultimately I do have plans to make a difference in this world and leave my mark with motivations that reassure me I will do so,However I have grown to realize not everything in life is definite hence why i have strategized my life with two paths one where I change the world by using my influence to empower others to revolutionize it, and the other where I change the world by revolutionizing it myself. Wither path i head down is wholly reliant on the steps I've already taken and those I will take steps which you may help make easier with this scholarship helping me change the world.

Beyond this how am I supposed to help people how am I to truly make a difference if I don't get to know the vastly different people. So, it's an imperative thing one I plan to also foster as it does not solely benefit myself.

Kevin, Fana the name given to me at birth, but it had no ethnic background or big meaning behind it just Kevin name my parents liked like any other, however this name that was given to me doesn't wholly summarize who I am more rather it's a reminder of where i come from. The name that wholly has a hole no me is the name that I earned not the one I was simply given.

Essay on the how creative thinking and science solve problems
06/14/22
Throughout history, there has been a myriad of creative solutions to societal challenges through creative and scientific means. Some solve major issues while others only have a menial impact regardless every advancement impacts humanity and its progression. There are obvious advancements like the invention of cellphones or agricultural farming, public transportation, etc both recent and older advancements that served to revolutionize society propelling it further into the future,
One such, unique advancement in human history is the consumption of milk this advancement occurred over five thousand years ago, yet it has changed people even on an evolutionary scale. While yes homo-sapiens are mammals and in turn already drink milk but they were initially only able to physically drink human milk like most animals. This raises the question "Why would people resort to such means?". Hunger and food scarcity, While this advancement, was several thousand years after agriculture was first implemented humans noted that the young cattle retrieved adequate sustenance from the milk of their mother deducing that they would be able to do the same. Regardless of the act that humans were not yet biologically capable of properly digesting the milk of other species. Yet people knew it would provide needed sustenance in times of food scarcity so they continued this practice until eventually, people were able to drink the milk of any animal without adverse effects and it became a commonplace practice. Now you may be wondering where science plays a role in this, at face value all that occurred was human observation and stubbornness. Rather that very observation is the scientific aspect since science by definition is the study of the natural world. This analysis was unconventional but it coupled with the unconventional thinking of early humans lead to an advancement that helped tremendously to combat hunger for the rest of recorded history.
This of course is not the only scientific advancement that resulted in a beneficial societal change that overcame a mutual obstacle. As previously stated there have been many throughout the history of varying degrees of importance impact and innovation. Yet each advancement is important in its own way as it propels Humanity forward. There is however one thing each of these advancements shares aside from their mutual benefits, and it is the fact that each advancement forces the future to get more creative with solving newer problems using the tools passed down by their forefathers. In an exponential cycle of adaptation creativity and intellectual evolution. The only uncertainty is what the next advancement will be and who will be responsible and when will humanity hit a wall in overcoming seemingly insurmountable challenges. Which is something that makes the future both equivocally exciting and terrifying.
Scorenavigator Financial Literacy Scholarship
As a young high school student as you can imagine I have had minimal personal experiences with finances up until recent years. In regards to standard education, my school provides a mandatory Financial Literacy which is hardly anything life-changing provided common-sense information that could easily be skipped over. However, on my own, I have had numerous experiences with saving as well as budgeting, and knowing how devastating early life mistakes with money can be after witnessing it first hand I made sure to consult whomever I could that may be knowledgable for advice. Which actually led to me getting my first credit card and being confident with how I plan to use it. Then recently I received an SHPE scholarship which will prove to be monumental in my ability to attend Farleigh Dickinson University much like receiving this scholarship will. One of the requirements for my scholarship receipt was a mandatory financial literacy course including courses that taught me how to maximize my credit, set a satisfactory budget, and make sure I am wholly able to reach my financial goals. Which I used coupled with the information I've amassed to raise my credit score to an impressive 715.
Now leading into my transition to college I have the daunting task of paying for a large sum of tuition, fortunately early I have had a great deal of help from my high school making sure I filled out the FAFSA on time requesting appeals and comparing every facet of the financial aid packages I've received from my colleges. Coupling together with the scholarships I have earned this far to substantially minimize the cost of my tuition however the sum is still quite a large amount. Hence making this my most immediate and daunting obstacle with the goal of hopefully graduating with no residual college debt.
Then tying back to what I have learned and done in preparation using what I've learned ill work to capitalize my credit by making micro-purchases and paying them off well before I am charged interest to start increasing my credit early, I will work to get an entry-level internship when I enter college to start propelling my career as soon as possible while also making a small but useful income. Now, this still leaves the issue of paying off my college debt or not ensuring it at all now to tackle this obstacle I plan to apply for scholarships to bring down the cost as much as possible, and whatever amount remains I will start dedicating nearly all the money I earn to paying off the debt while applying for as many additional scholarships after to minimize my debt maximize my credit and propel my career as soon as possible. All of which is only possible if I use what I've learned throughout my life to make a functional budget I can adhere to and to be smart with the money I have and the money I invest and this very scholarship I am applying to is a part of this strategy for accomplishing my immediate goals whilst setting myself up to achieve my future ones.
Freddie L Brown Sr. Scholarship
For this scholarship, I have decided to showcase two original poems that I have written, the first one relays who I am relaying The complexity of Kevin Fana this now is largely meant to be open to personal interpretation hence I did not include an explanation, Then the second is a love poem meant to be a confession to the one I love as a deeper insight into the kind of man that I am insight into my more vulnerable side which is not showcased in the first poem which is also why it has an explanation to make its interpretation more accurate, both poem is divided by a series of dots for your reading convenience and include in parenthesis next to the title what kind of poem they are respectively.
Am. I? (Free Verse)
Who am I?
A fine Question, indeed…
A skilled athlete,
With Speed and brawn.
An academic,
With a thirst for knowledge.
A romantic
With a soft spot for a certain girl.
A dork in my own right,
Rather nerdy too.
These describe what I am but not… who.
Lazy with spurs of invigoration,
Ambitious yet realistic.
Indecisive to a fault,
Yet I always make the right decision.
With a tendency to ponder every little thing,
But miss the most obvious facts.
An Ego that almost matches my Humility
Yet this is only the kind of man I am.
Still, failing to say whom?
Falling under many categories,
As you can see.
Accompanied by titles awards and fanfare,
A rather vast Treasury.
I am Prince Charming to one,
An ideal to some.
A companion to others,
But a burden to none.
The renowned Mr. Confidence,
I am who I am- Yet myself I still do not know.
For to put into words,
Is a formidable foe.
One greater than I’ll ever know.
However I can say,
The man I am to me is forever the same.
But the man you see,
The man I am to the world never will be.
I go by many names,
I go by many titles.
I hold many descriptions,
I boast many awards.
I take many appearances,
I carry countless reputations.
But I cannot be them all,
Not to every Mother’s Babe
For this cannot be true.
So the question is who am I to you?

Reflection (Sonnet)
If I compared my love to a mirror,
Would it make a worthy comparison?
Her boundless grace flowing like a river
Holding every measure of perfection
Her laugh echoes as sure as my own thought,
When I gaze into her eyes I see my own
And a life without her is but an afterthought
Now I certainly, make no claim to have a clone
My love is unique in every measure
For my loves perfection stands alone
Yet those perfections parallel around her
A conundrum unlike any ive known
She embodies everything I adore,
Expanding upon them all by fourscore
Explanation:
This sonnet is written primarily as a discussion with the reader rather than a proclamation hence why it bounces from talking about how amazing she is to a brief realization that she is all the man can think about and he finds comparisons to her all about his life as in this discussion he progressively realizes that he loves her hence why I avoided using my love until immediately after the portion where the man realizes she consumes his thought and i only use it twice in consecutive lines. Ultimately culminating in the man's admission that the girl is his definition of perfect as his love is confessed to her.

To put it simply my biggest inspiration is Elba Haydee Gonzalez, my mother. Now for me to properly explain allow me first to elaborate further allow me to briefly relay the kind of man I am today because of her. I am your friendly neighborhood Mr.Confidence, I know initially, it may make me seem boastful or arrogant but I assure you this is not the case. I acquired this name by doing what I have always done assert myself and getting involved in as many things as possible regardless of opposition, regardless of my failures, regardless of self-doubt or fear, and in everything I've ever done Ive always worked to remain firm in my belief that I can and will accomplish anything I decide to this drive determination and undeniable resolve were promptly noticed by those around me and even in many cases worked to instill similar confidence in them ultimately affording me the name Mr.Confidence.A title with which I wear with pride. All of which is because of her, she taught me to always do my best in even the most trivial of things because that is the only way one can improve she taught me to always keep my self-pride and recognize the qualities and abilities others possess because that's the only way one can truly endure the world, she taught me to maintain close ties with companions, she taught me to never give up regardless of what obstacles I may face I am Kevin M Fana and I have to make her myself and the world proud so nothing will stop me. It is not like she is some CEO or owns a business she's a single mom who has always worked her hardest for me and I would say has done a fine job raising me to be the man I am today. She always stayed oddly confident and positive regardless of the situation even when we were especially tight on funds she acted as though nothing was wrong and I know she may not be anything special to someone else but she is my mom and my idol and I hope that I can be like her and impact the lives of those around me the way shes impacted mine.
Bold Technology Matters Scholarship
The new technology I am excited about is the one I have yet to invent. While yes id is remiss in saying there are no technologies of note given SpaceX's revolutionary advancements in space exploration and developments in AI learning capabilities. All of which I am quite eager to see come to fruition in the future. I would be lying if I said my full excitement lay there. Since in reality, I am most eager for my own developments and creations in the future. It may sound rather foolhardy or arrogant to hear but this isn't some bright-eyed undergrad's lofty hope for future glory nor is it a misguided connotation that I am somehow uniquely special. This is all rooted in what I have proven to myself, to elaborate further throughout my four years in PLTW and correlating advanced math and science courses I have managed to learn a great deal regarding every engineering discipline their nuances purposes, and potential. Nothing particularly special however my sophomore year when we took digital electronics we had an in-depth chapter regarding energy sources and their sustainability. Where my interest was struck particularly regarding why hydropower wasn't readily accessible to the general public like solar power. Upon looking into the matter I found that hydropower needs a lot of large infrastructures, but upon further research, I also found that while at the moment it does need large infrastructure it potentially could be condensed if one could create a perpetual motion device that contains the energy put into the system compounding on it over time without additional aid. Now, something like this doesn't exist largely because no one has been able to figure out how to work around the laws of physics to make this a reality. Something which I am to do regardless of the lofty goal because I know myself and I know my irreverent determination so I know if I decide to do this it will come to pass. Beyond my own egotistical ambition, such a device would potentially help millions of people and save our energy crisis since it would be cheaper to manufacture than solar panels and would be readily accessible on a mass scale. In addition beyond solving our problems energy-wise it would also help stave off global warming and increase global air quality because such an apparatus would create ideal conditions to foster phytoplankton cultures that produce the majority of the world's oxygen. Now it is lying if I said my motives are wholly altruistic doing such a thing would also solidify my place in history and ensure my kin and myself will live a comfortable respected life. So ultimately I have a personal stake in the matter an altruistic mission coupled with the basic capabilities that an engineer will need to change the world all that's left is to make it a reality.

Youssef University’s College Life Scholarship
Immediately, I am sure it comes as no surprise that $1000 would play a pivotal role in financing my education. However, I am smart enough to recognize that if I simply had $1000 to do with as I please it would be substantially better to use the bulk of that money to facilitate investment opportunities. To elaborate further depending on the amount my college tuition comes out to be following all my aid I would take out loans to pay the remainder then set aside enough from the $1000 to make sure I am able to visibly pay for the next to months of my loan payments. Then I would take half of the remainder and place it directly into an index fund account which has an average net growth of 8%, and I will also be periodically adding money to it throughout my life so my funds continue to compound. Then that remaining portion becomes my disposable income which I will be using to facilitate investment opportunities, particularly inexpensive stocks with volatile growth rates like TGTX(TG Therapeutics). This way I will be using the money as best I can to help offset my present-day expenses without waisting the potential growth opportunities that are presented when one suddenly has $1000. Making the most of my money for both present-day and future me.
Abby's First-Generation College Student Scholarship
Throughout the earliest reaches of my life to now on thing has always remained consistent and that is my desire to be involved in as many things as possible meeting everyone I can making connections as well as friends. Now I know this has influenced my own personal confidence and my outlook on work and interacting with others in conjunction with completing tasks. Moreover, I can't say it has always been perfect due to my family's financial circumstances I've always worked as hard as I could to earn scholarships and financial aid to try and afford better education which has always proven to be taxing especially at a young age yet I can say it exposed me to hard work and bolstered my ability to withstand adversity. This also made me a social outcast to a degree getting bullied because I was a "nerd" I kind of had to be given the circumstance, minimal friends as I was always studying and working and I was ridiculed for it for being different. However, as I got older I learned to work past this to stay confident to hold my ground regardless of anyone who doubts my success or does not understand what I'm doing while also learning to balance both living lives as a normal kid and working hard to forge a future for myself. All ultimately culminated in making me who I am today all that adversity and hardship worked to make me a stronger man a more well-rounded individual. Ultimately making me Mr.Confidence a man with boundless self assurance determination and ambition that I was able to evolve past all of that and figure out who I am and what I want to become regardless of opposition or difficulty. Making me a stronger man while setting me on a path for greatness a greatness I will make sure I achieve no matter what.
Bold Be You Scholarship
Well, this is a pleasantly easy question, but first, let me tell you who I am I am your friendly neighborhood Mr.Confidence and while initially such a title may make me seem rather arrogant I can assure you this is not the case more rather I make a point to do and get involved in as many things as I possibly can while also holding true to my affirmed belief that anything I decide to do I can do so long as I will it to be so and work for it a mantra I have abided by my entire life. Ultimately, I'm an outgoing, confident guy who tries to stay positive and is a pretty interesting character once you meet me. Now in regards to my daily life, I often do get hate or ridicule from people who don't understand why I am the way I am or are jealous about how I choose to live my life. In regards to this, I simply choose to ignore it focusing on myself and what makes me happy for no one lives my life but I might as well live it as if I'm the main character of a movie. Admittedly I know this may not be the grand story of adversity and triumph you may be looking for in this response but this is the truth I simply don't let things faze me and keep pushing. After all, I am Mr.Confidence.
Jameela Jamil x I Weigh Scholarship
Three weeks ago from today February 24th, 2022, I did not do anything especially impressive it was honestly just the right thing to do but it felt good and meant a lot to somebody. Our story begins with me simply managing my responsibilities as the physical Training Team commander I'm responsible for leading the team during practices, this particular practice conflicted with golf tryouts so I had to miss tryouts to maintain my responsibility which is fine. My team was rather upset that I put them above tryouts but it was the right thing to do and I enjoyed training them for our first competition the following week. After this practice, a member of my team who is generally a loner asked me to come to a party of his and invite some friends so I did he wasn't especially popular so I figured id go since I had nothing better to do anyway. so I invited the fencing team and the rest of the PT team in addition to some random friends of mine who are always down for a party. Upon arrival, I found it was a rather rowdy affair more so than I would have expected nevertheless it was fun and I was having a good time. Up until I noticed our oh so gracious host was not having near as much fun as everyone else. So I went up to him said hi made a corny joke about working out and talked to him about what was going on. The only purpose for the party as he felt lonely and he did not expect it to get so rowdy and he was stressed about the state of his house which he knew would make hi parents upset. While I don't know his home affairs by his reaction I imagined it would be pretty bad if his parents found out and I felt empathy towards his situation. Hence I resolved to do what I could to rectify the matter and I shut the party down yelled that the party was over cleared up and got mostly everyone to leave. I knew this would have negative implications in regards to my social status as In highschool shutting down a party regardless of altruistic motive is obviously not how you gain public favor. So it did have negative implications on my social status. All be it I was and am widely regarded as Mr.Confidence so it didn't hurt my high school experience much. However, all that wasn't really a concern of mine I merely wanted to help one of my own. Then I and a few friends of mine just stayed with him to keep him company and take care of things for him. To this day I and him aren't especially close but I never regretted that day and doubt I ever will.
Now I am well aware this isn't an especially grand event or anything especially momentous but to me, it felt good and I know he appreciated it. Hence why I chose to write about this because this is one of those little moments that often get forgotten or remembered as uncool with time. However ill know what I did and why and so will he and that's all that matters. Particularly as this instance has taught me that doing the right thing isn't always easy and could often have some repercussions for oneself but sometimes regardless it is worth doing and that's an ideology I aim to carry with me throughout my future

I would stand primarily for the thing that makes me who I am confident not merely self-confidence but also confidence in those around you. Now I know that sounds rather backward as an influential figure shouldn't I stand for equality or peace or societal advancement. However, those are only a brief glimpse in what is truly required of a leader. To elaborate further by standing for the confidence I'm working to make my people confident in themselves in their country in their fellow countrymen and in me as a leader. This works to ease public fears and discrimination because being confident is in and of itself an agent of ease as it eliminates unnecessary fears or ill will by instilling confidence in one's self and their kinsman. Now while confidence isn't something i can force into my country or those below me it is something i can and know how to build along with trust. Ultimately along with this equality peace and overall betterment will ensue. Hence this way I am best able to enact overall improvement for those below and recognition for myself as a leader while directing my efforts towards one common general aim which affects pertinent improvements all leaders should stand to cause

Moreover, I can't say it has always been perfect due to my families financial circumstances I've always worked as hard as I could to earn scholarships and financial aid to try and afford better education which has always proven to be taxing especially at a young age yet I can say it exposed me to hard work and bolstered my ability to withstand adversity. Yet this also made me a social outcast to a degree getting bullied often with minimal friends as i was always studying and working and i was ridiculed for it for being different. However, as i got older i learned to work past this to stay confident to hold my ground regardless of anyone who doubts my success or does not understand what I'm doing while also learning to balance both living lives as a normal kid and working hard to forge a future for myself. Which all ultimately culminated in making me who I am today all that adversity and hardship worked to make me a stronger man a more well-rounded individual and set me on a path I will strive for.
Now in regards to my future success my aims are not especially lofty I immediately plan to study computer/ electrical engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology or Penn State University studying to earn my bachelors. While in conjunction working to furthering my experience in regards to television and voice acting. The reason for this is because acting is also one of my passions and I would like to further explore potential pathways. Something that is very doable by taking advantage of the performing arts programs at both schools which coincide with their respective engineering programs. This way I am able to further my experience in both in conjunction with one another and following my completion of college ill be able to pursue both careers getting an entry-level position in a company like Bethesda or intelitech as well as working to get small acting roles. While I am well aware working to pursue both careers will be challenging I know that I will be more than capable of doing so. Then as I progress in my life and my career I will eventually veer off to pursuing one as my career. Either becoming the CEO of my own startup company or a famous television/voice actor. Ultimately my future aims allow me leeway to pursue my two passions while also avoiding restricting myself to a set path as I know that I as well as my goals and passions will change and this plan accounts for this yet still provides some direction.
Ideally my optimal vision of success would be a scenario where I can pursue both careers start a family fall in love have many close relationships and live a calm fulfilling life. Now in 20 years I see myself doing precisely that as I know what I want to do where I'm going and how I will get there the only difference is I also aim to leave behind an unshakeable mark on the world wither through my work as an actor or my ingenuity as an engineer either way I will leave behind a proud legacy.

Yet both paths afford me many ways to leave my impact on the world.
Now in regards to My initial interest in pursuing computer and electrical engineering as a major was sparked through my project led the way courses that I have been taking since my freshman year. through these courses, I have been exposed to all engineering disciplines and their respective nuances. However more specifically my sophomore year where I took the project Lead the way II Digital electronics in this course I learned how to breadboard make a circuit calculate power voltage current etc. but also got experience with the digital aspects that can coincide with electrical engineering culminating with an introduction to computer engineering. Moreover, during a particular lesson on energy resources both sustainable and unsustainable, I was fascinated with how there is no readily accessible variant of hydropower for the masses like there is readily accessible solar power. Upon further research into the topic I discovered that it is possible if one could potentially create a perpetual motion device (does not exist yet) and I believe I could make this reality. NOt only for altruistic reasons but also to immortalize my name accomplish something meaningful and take care of my future and my legacy. With this in mind, I fell in love with the entire concept of electrical engineering and computer engineering eventually deciding that this is what I wanted to do with my life for it allows me a great deal of freedom to explore the different possibilities that pursuing this career with afford me.(allowing me to pursue a career as an actor )

Bold Confidence Matters Scholarship
Confidence is the fine line between courage and stupidity, courage in itself is the perseverance past fear and opposition whereas stupidity is simply the absence of fear. Now confidence lies within the A confident individual holds station between the two because someone who is confident recognizes their own abilities and shortcomings both good and bad and recognizes that they will likely face opposition but they choose to do things regardless not out of a sense of courage but a belief in themselves that regardless they will persevere. As for myself, this is something I am quite familiar with as there is merit in my name Mr.Confidence However I am far from perfect that is to be sure and I have areas in which I can and would like to improve more specifically In regards to confidence I can recognize that I have a tendency to stray from base confidence to arrogance on occasions which are the excessive belief in one stability almost in consideration of being invincible in other words stupidity. While it is hardly a frequent occurrence that I stray to such tendencies it is something I plan to work on to make it occur even less frequently both to bolster myself as a person but also to bolster my ability to instill confidence in those around me.

I would be lying if I said I was unaccustomed to failure I am one who has faced falters and failures all throughout my life. In fact, in recent years overcoming and surpassing challenges is how I acquired the title of Mr.Confidence. I know initially, it may make me seem boastful or arrogant but I assure you this is not the case. I acquired this name by doing what I have always done trying to assert myself and get involved in as many things as possible regardless of opposition and in everything I've done regardless of my likelihood of success I always worked to remain strong in my belief that I can and will accomplish anything I decide to set my mind to this drive determination and undeniable resolve are what afforded me the name Mr.Confidence.
Now with that brief background as to my character and nature, I am now going to tie it in to what is not my most difficult obstacle but it is what I would consider being my most impactful one. This is my calculus course which I took my Junior year, not because the class was difficult no I would say calculus as a course was one of the easiest I've been taking honors physics classes since sophomore year. No, my obstacle was the way the grading system for the class. Ms.Wells was a mild-mannered kind woman to be sure I have nothing against this teacher however her method of grading was rather extreme, If the work I did detour from what she showed or if I skipped a menial step like basic addition I would not receive credit. Being a person who views everything from a literal technical standpoint I try to find the quickest easiest or most effective way to accomplish any given task whether it be academic social or extracurricular. However, this mindset which had always served me so well as a student as a leader as a person is now doing me a disserve at least as far as my grade was concerned. So I had to essentially go against what I had always done and think of things in a different manner which is a lot harder than would ever have expected it to be yet I doubled worker hard and managed to contort my methodology and way of thinking in regards to her assignments to just narrowly pass the class. While it will forever serve as a blight on my transcript and it serves as a memory I do not recall fondly taking this class and encountering these obstacles essentially bolstered my character as a person broadened my way of thinking and improved my ability to tackle uncomfortably difficult situations that are difficult in their unique manner while also improving my ability to work with those who I would find especially challenging to interact with. All of which are imperative skills that I would have needed to learn and developed eventually and am fortunate that I was able to gain this earlier on in my life as I will be able to attribute it throughout my college career future career and overall life
Scholarship Institute Future Leaders Scholarship
While I have participated in a multitude of activities help numerous leadership positions the most prominent of which is the Physical training team- which is predominantly where ROTC cadets compete against other units in a competition of physical ability. This along with the other clubs and leadership positions I've held both within and outside of school were where I learned how to be a leader and further discovered who I am. Through my experiences, I learned how to work alongside a diverse range of peers, how to effectively lead others whilst still maintaining a sense of comradery which can often prove difficult. However most prominently by getting involved in clubs and earning leadership positions, I learned that I have a lot of room for improvement I am was not always an amazing leader and ever still I have room to improve and I learned that through the challenges and obstacles I faced while holding my position. Deligating responsibility, maintaining good relations, woking with particularly difficult peers, and effectively leading those and earning their faith in me as a leader and earning bolstering my own faith to fulfill my roles. These positions effectively helped me discover and hone my abilities as a leader and my character as a person and I will work to translate these skills to my future. As I have learned that it is not simply enough to be a bystander to be a participant just another person I have an innate ability to benefit other instill confidence in those around me while applying my skills to accomplishing any given task hence I aim to do so. Now primarily while I cannot deny I am an equipped leader I wont define myself as a great leader for a leader of this calibre is someone who can efficiently and effectively acquire the admiration and respect of those around him briefly in a manner which allows them to get various persons to work together as needed who may otherwise clash. Not only this but also managing to foster good relations with all parties even those who may be at odds with one another. This is a skill I have yet to master for while I can assert myself in groups and lead and get individual to put aside differences to work on tasks I can have difficulties keeping fostering close relations with all parties and keeping everyone on task. A skill I am to further bolster and foster throughout my college and lifelong careers. For developing this skill will allow me to further discover who I am and build upon that person while using these skills to continue to advance my ability to succeed throughout my life.
