      Our Destiny Our Future Scholarship
I plan to make a positive impact in the world by continuing to help others in need. At the moment I currently do volunteer work as well as attend school full time. While it's hard, the work that I do makes it all worth it. I help handle concessions for a football organization, I help with south west Florida horse rescue in which I help with feeding the equine and keeping their areas clean. I want to help make the world a better place by getting my vet tech degree first then going back to college to get my vet degree so I can open a vet clinic which will offer free medical services to animals in need. The type of services I wish to have at the clinic is to make it so homeless people can bring their pets in for check ups without charge. I want to be able to keep animals off the streets and out of kill shelters. I want people of my future community to know I'm there to help. I want to be able to give them hope and help their pets by giving them what they need without a giant bill that can break apart their family. All animals deserve to have a home and to be taken care of. While the clinic would be hard to fund without a second job, I'm willing to sacrifice my free time and money to be able to help others. I want to be able to offer help to others without having to make them empty their bank accounts. I also want to help fundraise money and human and dog food as well as blankets and pillows and maybe even little small houses for the homeless so they're not stuck on the streets because homeless shelters can only hold so many before they start to turn them away and there are always more people who need help. I won't just sit around and do nothing while there are people and animals in need. My plans won't be easy to achieve but I'm going to fight for what I believe in and I will change the world one way or another. I'm going to win this battle whether it's by myself or not. So i hope that when you finish reading this you will realize how much this scholarship will help me and help make my dreams become a reality.
      Pet Pals Pack Compassion Award
I chose to pursue a career in the veterinary field because I am passionate about helping animals and keeping them healthy and safe. I Am also very passionate about science and helping people, I feel like this scholarship could really help me propel my veterinary studies. I have the drive and the motivation to be an amazing vet but I also have the empathy and kindness to be a kind vet. I decided to become a veterinarian because I know the pain and the heartache of losing a furry family member or bringing your furry family member to the vet only to discover you either can't afford the help your furry family member needs and that they can't do anything to help. When I do get the veterinary degree I plan to help as many families as possible and help get their furry friends the help they need. My main motivation to be a veterinarian is my first dog, his name was Loki. He was my grandfather's dog before he passed away. Loki and i got very close and depended on each other to get through hard times. But a little over a year ago on april seventh 2023 i lost him. My family had made the decision to put him down. He was 13 years old when he went to sleep. I felt like my world had fallen apart and that I couldn't live without him while it still hurts and I miss him dearly. I know that he and my grandfather would want me to continue on to help others not feel the same pain I felt. I love animals and becoming a veterinarian has been my dream since I was a little girl. My love for animals and my drive to help them is what is going to make me a great veterinarian. Another reason I have to become a veterinarian is because my grandfather had a love for animals whether it was snakes or dogs or cats he loved them all. I want to show him that the very best of him is in me. I will change the world one day at a time. No animal deserves to be left alone without love or treatment because animals are important and need to be taken care of. Too many of them are mistreated or not given what they deserve or need to survive. I hope that when your reading this you consider me and realize how help full this scholarship will be to my studies.
      Big Picture Scholarship
A movie I have watched that has had a great impact on my life is called "full metal jacket". I had first watched this movie when I was around eight years old and I was with my grandfather who was a Vietnam veteran. Whenever I watched Full metal jacket he would always tell me to cover my eyes because in the beginning someone takes their own life after killing their drill sergeant. This has stuck with me almost a decade later because it reminds me that no matter how hard life gets I have to keep fighting every day to keep fighting for what my grandfather and so many others have fought for. The reason why this movie's message is so important to me, because I have gone through a lot in my life. I have wanted to give up so many times and just let the universe win, but everytime I think about giving up, I remember that I can't give up. I have to keep fighting, because if I give up, it means everything that my grandfather and other veterans had fought to build and give to the future generations was for nothing. All their pain and suffering would be wasted and I know my grandfather would never want me or anyone else to give up, just because life got rough. I want to keep fighting so that one day I can say that I fought to make the world a better place just like he did. Another understanding of why this film's message is very inspirational to the public is because it shows the importance of fighting for what you believe in, even if you're fighting alone. You can make a difference for the right cause, to make the world a better place, for you and all other generations. If everyone would clash instead of fighting for what’s right, the world we live in would end. The world would crumble as we know it, nothing would survive, everything we know would be over. If we can work together, we can accomplish dreams that weren’t met to be accomplished, we can create a better era for all. In conclusion, keep fighting for what is important. Don’t give up on a dream that is impossible to achieve, make it possible. Keep fighting to help ensure future generations can live and help others. Keep fighting to keep the world a healthy, and happy place for all.

      Book Lovers Scholarship
If i could have everyone in the world read one book i would have everyone read ¨ Animal farm¨ by george orwell. The reason I chose this book is because it is easy to follow and also has a deep meaning that I think everyone could learn from. "Animal Farms" meaning is to educate and create awareness about the potential pitfalls of political ideologies. Its enduring relevance attests to Orwell's astute understanding of human nature and societal structures. In Animal Farm, the themes of class, equality and inequality, and power and control are explored. An example of equality and inequality in animal farms is "All animals are equal." A simple sentence but hugely effective. There is no room for argument or debate. The intention of the animals is very clear. But When the pigs take control they move into the farmhouse and sleep in beds, eat all the food and put on clothes. This starts inequality between themselves and the other animals. Another example that I think people can learn from is when Mr Jonesis exploiting his power and treating the animals badly. Therefore causing a rebellion. But before they can make any changes the pigs take over promising change but never actually changing anything in fact they made things worse and caused more harm than good. What this means is that no matter how much you want change as soon as someone gets a taste of the power and starts releasing they have control over everything the interest of everyone is no longer what's on their mind.
