WinnerBio
I am a driven father, husband, soldier, and leader. I started my military career as an officer in 2007 in the Infantry. I deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan where some of the fighting was most fierce. I volunteered after my second deployment for Special Operations where I was selected, completed the qualification course, and currently serve in.
I have set numerous short and long term goals for myself, with my number one goal of being the best father and husband that I can be. My immediate short term goal that I have is I want to earn my Masters Degree, which will allow me to continue to have success in my military career.

Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a difference in the world, but veterans don’t have that problem.
Everyday I wake up when I am deployed, I know I am changing lives. This picture was taken before a mission in Afghanistan to provide security for a small village. It was three days of fighting before we cleared the Taliban from the area. Seeing the faces of the villagers living there knowing now that we arrived their village and family has a future.
