My passion for medicine and science stems from a deep-rooted desire to serve my community, which has fueled my pursuits in health care and medicine. I was the first in my family to graduate college, obtaining a B.S Biochemistry, with minors in Biology and Music, and I am now pursuing my M.D in Poznań, Poland with a strong sense of enthusiasm.
Prior to entering medical school, I spent four years working part-time in various positions, including as a Medical Scribe, Medical Interpreter, Instructor for a non-profit organization, as well as in a sandwich shop. One of my most rewarding experiences was serving as an AmeriCorps Member, where I was able to educate "at-risk youth" in low-income, medically underserved, and English-limited communities.
As I work alongside medical professionals in my community, I see the value of community engagement through starting non-profit foundations, public speaking, serving on Boards, volunteering, and more. These are the footsteps that I aim to follow, using my skills and unique experiences to become the ideal community doctor.
With the help of Bold Scholarships, I am striving to become a global leader in the field of medicine, using my multilingual skills to bridge the gap between the medical community and the general public. My goal is to break down mental, cultural, and language barriers that prevent people from receiving the care they need. I am excited to pursue this bold plan and become a force for positive change in the world of medicine.
