As a nursing professional, I am committed to positively impacting the nursing profession in various ways. One key way is by continuing my education and staying current with the latest advancements in healthcare. This can be achieved by regularly attending continuing education courses and workshops, reading relevant literature, and staying informed about new research and best practices. By staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare, I can provide the most current and effective care to my patients. Another way I can positively impact the nursing profession is by being an advocate for my patients. This means that I will work to ensure that my patients receive the best possible care and that their rights and needs are respected. I can do this by being aware of my patients' rights and working to ensure that they are respected, as well as by speaking up when I see something that is not in the best interest of my patients. I also plan to positively impact the nursing profession by participating in research. This can be achieved by joining a research team or conducting my own research projects. By participating in research, I can contribute to the body of knowledge in nursing, and help to improve patient care. Research can also help to identify areas of nursing practice that need improvement and support the development of new evidence-based practices. Another way to positively impact the nursing profession is by serving as a mentor to newer nurses. This can be achieved by sharing my knowledge and experience with newer nurses, as well as by providing guidance and support. By serving as a mentor, I can help to ensure that the next generation of nurses is well-prepared to provide high-quality care to their patients. In addition, I plan to positively impact the nursing profession by being a leader within my workplace. This can be achieved by taking an active role in decision-making, promoting teamwork and collaboration, and fostering a positive work environment. As a leader, I can help to create a culture of excellence within the workplace, which can lead to improved patient outcomes and greater satisfaction among nursing staff. Lastly, I am committed to being a lifelong learner, always looking for ways to improve my skills and knowledge, and always seeking out new learning opportunities. This can be achieved by taking on new challenges and responsibilities, seeking out new learning opportunities, and being open to feedback and constructive criticism. This attitude will help me to stay engaged and motivated in my career and make a positive impact on the nursing profession. In summary, as a nursing professional, I am committed to positively impacting the nursing profession by continuing my education, being an advocate for my patients, participating in research, serving as a mentor, being a leader, and being a lifelong learner. These actions will help me to provide the best possible care to my patients, improve the overall quality of care within the nursing profession, and grow as a professional

"The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is a beautiful and timeless story that has touched the hearts of many people around the world. I think it would be an excellent choice for everyone to read. One of the main reasons I would recommend this book is because it conveys important life lessons in a simple and accessible way. The Little Prince, a character from another planet, teaches the narrator (and by extension, the reader) about the importance of seeing things with a childlike sense of wonder, and about the nature of true friendship and love. The book also explores themes of loneliness and human connection and the idea that what is truly important in life is often hidden from our eyes. Another reason I would recommend this book is that it is a very enjoyable and engaging read. The story is both fantastical and grounded in reality, and the characters are charming and memorable. The writing is also lovely, with Saint-Exupéry's poetic prose bringing the story and its message to life. Finally, I would recommend this book because of its universal appeal. It has been translated into over 300 languages, and it has resonated with people of all ages and cultures. It's a book that can be read and enjoyed by people of any background, and I believe that its message of kindness, compassion, and understanding is one that everyone can benefit from hearing. In short, "The Little Prince" is a classic book that is enjoyed by people from all walks of life. It is a book that teaches valuable life lessons, is a pleasing and captivating read and its story and writing can be understandable for any reader.

Growing up, I had always dreamed of becoming a nurse. It was a career that I had always felt drawn to, with a strong desire to help others and make a positive difference in the world. However, it was not until my father passed away last year due to complications with diabetes that my passion for nursing truly solidified. As I watched my father struggle with his illness, I was struck by the compassionate care that he received from his nurses. They were kind, patient, and always seemed to go above and beyond to ensure that he was comfortable and that his needs were met. It was through their selflessness and dedication that I was truly inspired to pursue a career in nursing. Since then, I have been working tirelessly to prepare myself for this career path. I have completed all of the necessary prerequisites for nursing school and have spent countless hours volunteering at local hospitals and nursing homes, immersing myself in the field and gaining valuable experience. I am now ready to take the next step and enroll in a nursing program, and I am confident that with my dedication and hard work, I will become a skilled and compassionate nurse. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also been actively involved in my community. I have volunteered at several local non-profits, helping to provide services to those in need. I have also been an active member of the Nursing Student Association, where I have had the opportunity to plan and participate in various community service projects. If awarded this scholarship, I would be incredibly grateful for the financial assistance it would provide. The money I save would allow me to focus more on my studies and less on the financial strain of paying for tuition. I would also be able to use some of the funds to further my education and professional development, such as attending conferences and workshops. Ultimately, my goal is to use my education and experience to make a positive difference in the world, just like the nurses who cared for my father. I believe that healthcare is a basic human right, and I am committed to working towards a future where everyone has access to quality care. I am confident that with this scholarship, I will be able to continue pursuing my dreams and making a meaningful contribution to the field of nursing. Thank you for considering my application.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on my own mental health. Like many people, I have struggled with feelings of anxiety and isolation as a result of the various lockdowns and restrictions put in place to curb the spread of the virus. These challenges have been compounded by the fact that I am unable to see my college friends and family physicaly unless it is behind a computer screen as often as I would like has left me feeling lonely and disconnected at times. Despite these challenges, the pandemic has also taught me the importance of resilience and adaptability. I have learned to find new ways to connect with others and to prioritize my mental health. I have also come to appreciate the value of self-care and the need to make time for activities that bring me joy and help me to relax. In terms of relationships, the pandemic has had a mixed impact. On the one hand, it has brought me closer to some of the people in my life, as we have leaned on each other for support during these difficult times. On the other hand, it has also strained some relationships, as the stress and uncertainty of the pandemic has led to conflicts and misunderstandings. Overall, my experience with COVID-19 and mental health has influenced my beliefs by reminding me of the importance of being kind and compassionate towards others, and of the need to take care of myself and my own well-being. It has also reinforced the importance of being adaptable and resilient in the face of challenges and adversity. In terms of career aspirations, the pandemic has made me even more determined to pursue a career in the medical field as a nurse. I have come to realize that life is unpredictable, and that it is important to find work that brings me joy and purpose. Since then, I have been working tirelessly to prepare myself for this career path. I have completed all of the necessary prerequisites for nursing school and have spent countless hours volunteering at local hospitals and nursing homes, immersing myself in the field and gaining valuable experience. I hope that my experience with COVID-19 and mental health will serve as a reminder to others to take care of themselves and to be kind and supportive towards those around them. We are all in this together, and by working together and supporting one another, we can get through these difficult times and emerge stronger and more resilient on the other side.

When I was a teenager, I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical field. I was fascinated by the human body and the way it worked, and I loved the idea of being able to help people in need. However, it was not until I shadowed a nurse at my local hospital that I truly realized that nursing was my calling. I was struck by the way the nurses interacted with their patients. They were compassionate, caring, and always seemed to go above and beyond to ensure that the patient's needs were met. I was also impressed by the way they were able to work as a team, collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care. It was at that moment that I knew that I wanted to become a nurse. As I began to research the nursing profession more, I became even more convinced that this was the right career path for me. I learned about the many different roles that nurses play in the healthcare system, from bedside care to leadership positions. I was also attracted to the flexibility that nursing offers, with the ability to work in a variety of settings and specialize in different areas of care. But more than anything, I was drawn to the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. As a nurse, I would have the opportunity to be a source of comfort and support for my patients, helping them through some of the most difficult times in their lives. I would also be able to advocate for my patients, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard. I understand that becoming a nurse is not an easy task, and it requires a significant amount of dedication and hard work. However, I am more than ready for the challenge. I have already completed the necessary prerequisites for nursing school, and I have gained valuable experience through volunteering at local hospitals and nursing homes. I am confident that with my passion, determination, and strong work ethic, I will succeed in my studies and become a skilled and compassionate nurse.
