FinalistBio
I am a free thinker, a reader, and an art, music, travel and culinary enthusiast. I live each day with a certain measure of charisma, and have found that life can feel miserable without choosing to laugh everyday even if its rather nonsensical. My friends, family, and faith are my greatest source of Joy. However, my drive for change is what wakes me up in the morning. I am passionate about freedom of expression, human rights, equality, social and criminal justice, international affairs, and preventing and ending sexual/domestic abuse. I truly believe in the individual self, and that we as a people are a sum of our experiences and how we choose to grow from them. I want to live a life worthy of those that have poured into me, that honors my innate dreams, and that caters to my skills. I plan to gain a political science undergraduate degree, and a graduate law degree to be an attorney for the beginning years of my life, and then serve as a foreign services officer, and ultimately represent the US as an ambassador. I want to be a part of the greater solutions that will address problems on a global scale. Working with like-minded people to usher in a globalized, and interdependent future is my dream.
