Rita A. Clark Future Educator Award
In my future, I hope to be a successful algebra teacher and make an impact on my future students’ lives. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher, and when I was 13, I found my love for algebra. In 8th grade, I had the most wonderful algebra teacher who inspired me to want to do the same thing she does. It is my biggest hope that my future students have fun in my class and enjoy algebra like I do. I want to make them feel happy and welcomed and want to learn. My whole middle school and high school career, I have always tried my absolute best to succeed, and I will continue to do so in college and in my future teaching career. I am the kind of person who is loving, caring, and accepting towards everybody. I want my classroom to be a safe place for students, and a fun place.

My biggest goal for the future is to be a successful high school algebra teacher and make an impact on my future students' lives. It is also my biggest goal to be a good wife and mother. It is my dream to marry my perfect person and to be an amazing mother for my future kids. I have already found my perfect person, we just have to wait to start our lives together. I can't wait to watch my dreams come true.
    Bold Bucket List Scholarship
It has always been my dream to be a teacher. Ever since I was maybe 9 years old, I wanted to be a teacher, but it was when I was 13 I realized I wanted to be an algebra teacher. My whole middle school and high school career, I have worked very hard to get good grades, and I will continue to do that through college. A non-academic dream I have always had is to go to my dream vacation spots around the world. I have a love for nature and exploring, so that is something I absolutely need to achieve. I have always wanted to visit Hawaii, Paris, New York City, and more. Something traditional I have always wanted is to just be a good wife and mother. It is my dream to get married to the perfect person and be an amazing mother to my future children. That is something I have always wanted. I have already found my perfect person, we just have to wait to start our amazing lives together.
    Bold Encouraging Others Scholarship
To encourage those around me, I tell them things that I would want others to tell me. I don't like to see people struggle or feel down, therefore I always want to help. If I see someone having a hard time in school, or maybe work, or just in general, I try to help them as much as possible. I make sure they're okay and are comfortable talking to me, I try to boost their confidence, and I help them get back on their feet. For example, I once saw a girl in my freshman year math class struggling with her worksheet. She was trying to get the teacher's attention by raising her hand, but she wouldn't notice her. I walked over to her and asked why she was tearing up. She told me that she was struggling with stuff at home and couldn't really understand her work or have the motivation to do it. I felt so much empathy for her, since I was going through the same thing at the time. I told her how I was feeling, and I told her that everything will get better. I couldn't believe it, but I put the biggest smile on her face, and we worked on the worksheet together. I always try to encourage those around me because it could do everyone a lot of good. I just wish others would do that for me.
