Bio

Hi! My name is Joy; I was homeschooled K-12; I grew up living in a Christian home and attending church every Sunday with my family. This is where I learned to serve others and recognized my love and desire to work with kids. I like to challenge myself to try new things. I am diligent, enthusiastic, and devoted to working with excellence. I am enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education at Regent University. After finishing my bachelor's degree, I plan to become a lead teacher with children aged infant to preschoolers. I love working with children with all my heart; it has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl! I want to be able to have a positive influence on children's lives!

Hi, My name is Joy Williams; I grew up living in a Christian home, attending church every Sunday; I volunteered in the children's ministry at my church for three years, where I found my desire to work with kids and decided then that I wanted to do it as a career. I am hard-working, energetic, and passionate about working with excellence with children. I look forward to earning a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at Regent University starting in March 2023. After finishing my bachelor's degree, I plan to become a lead teacher with children ages infant to preschoolers. I love working with children with all my heart; it has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl! I love being able to make a positive impact on children's lives and enjoy being able to help children learn and grow in understanding. Seeing children get excited about learning makes me so happy! I have been volunteering and working with kids from infancy to elementary age since elementary school. I've watched and built many different and incredible relationships with children and their parents. The experiences have been fantastic; in one of the families I have known for years, their mom trusted me so much that she would step out of the room for a few minutes to take care of business and leave me to watch her kids. It felt amazing to know that she and her husband trusted me so much to be able to go and not worry about their kids; it showed me that I genuinely had a calling for this in my life, and I knew that I could not go without working with children. I work hard to show others that even though I am young and do not know everything about children, I know that I am capable, and whatever I do not know, I will learn and do my best in everything I do. Children are intelligent, fun, loving, and a good judge of character, and I am looking forward to being a part of their growth and development, showing them love and caring for them, and teaching them how important they are. It is an honor to teach children and be a significant part of their lives. Good teachers are essential to the foundations of young children's lives, and I am committed to seeing them succeed in their education
