Bio

I want to become an animator and illustrator because I've always been passionate about creating my own stories. Coming from Ecuador, it's really important for me to make my family proud and give back to them financially, just like they helped me get to the U.S. I want to bring fresh stories and movies to life for the next generation and make a real impact through my work.

Growing up in a small country like Ecuador, it was almost impossible to find education related to the art industry. Art was often seen as a "not enough" career to support and feed a family. Because of this misconception, I was constantly bullied, and both teachers and classmates tried to push me away from my passion, drawing. This abuse made me retreat into a bubble of imagination, kind of like Alice on wonderland, where I created a world filled with magic and creatures. In this world, I began developing my own characters, storylines, and plots inspired by my culture. Thanks to this, I began developing my own characters, storylines, and plots inspired by my culture. This became my discovery of art, a place where I felt comfortable creating and painting. The connection with a pencil and paper is something I can't describe; seeing the idea in your head and then showcasing it was really important to me. My parents became my main pillar, this because they were always with me since the start. They saw my passion and were the ones that gave me my first iPad for Christmas in 2018. After that Christmas, we had to sell everything inside our home, something that was shocking to see every day as our house grew emptier. Saying goodbye to friends and family was heartbreaking, especially for me at 13 years old. I wasn’t sure how to express my sadness and melancholy about leaving behind my childhood room and belongings to move to an unknown place where I felt I was left with nothing. During this challenging time, my iPad and sketchbooks became my sanctuary, allowing me to pour my emotions into drawing. They gave me the strength to navigate this pivotal moment in my life. With that iPad I was able to create my first digital drawing, something I was always excited about from the videos I saw on the internet. Since then, I was able to create my first digital illustration and found a new passion. Six years ago, with the unwavering support of my parents, I moved to the United States to pursue my dreams. This transition not only gave me access to better education but also allowed me to connect with like-minded people who shared my creativity. Art became my escape from reality and a source of joy and purpose. What once felt like a game has now blossomed into a passion for creating comic stories and a clear vision of my career path. I aspire to become an animator and, in the future, create the first Ecuadorian animated series inspired by the ideas I dreamed up as a child. Through this, I hope to honor my family, who supported me every step of the way, and prove to those who doubted me that it is possible to achieve your dreams and succeed as an artist.

Since I was a kid, something about colors and animated series has always fascinated me. I was drawn to stories with deep lore, unique characters, and, most of all, vibrant colors. A little about my past is that I’m from Ecuador, a small country in South America. I usually find inspiration by looking back at my past, my family, and the traditions we brought with us from Ecuador. These memories fuel my creativity and help me create ideas for my artwork. My dream is to one day create my own animated series or comic that represents my culture and roots. At the same time, I want to help my parents financially. They sacrificed a lot for us to come to the U.S., leaving behind their jobs and status in Ecuador. Starting from scratch here has not been easy, especially since they don’t speak English, which has made finding a job almost impossible for them. As for creativity process, I find a lot of resources and media from my country, my traditions, and my experiences as an Ecuadorian. Traditional music also plays a big role in my creative process, especially when it has a deep meaning that helps me connect emotionally with the canvas when I’m painting or drawing digitally. Whether it's the rhythm of a traditional song or a meaningful melody, it helps me connect my mind into my art.

Since I was a kid, something about colors and animated series has always fascinated me. I was drawn to stories with deep lore, unique characters, and, most of all, vibrant colors. A little about my past is that I’m from Ecuador, a small country in South America, and when my family and I moved to the U.S., they gave me my first iPad. For me, that was the best gift I could’ve received, as it marked the start of my digital art and illustration journey. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to focus on painting, illustration, and animation and follow them as a career. Starting from scratch here has not been easy, especially since they don’t speak English, which has made finding a job almost impossible for them. That’s what motivates me the most, the thought of working for companies like Disney or Pixar, since they have been my major influencers in my style and character design. But also, i want to create fresh stories and characters that not only entertain but also represent where I come from. I also want to be able to make my parents proud and give back to them in the same way they’ve supported me. Whether it's the rhythm of a traditional song or a meaningful melody, it helps me connect my mind into my art. Ultimately and lastly, i been working on a comic to start and blend all of this together into an easy-to-read book in where i show my culture, my family, and my creativity, into something meaningful that inspires others and leaves a lasting impact.
