Jordyn is a senior at DeLaSalle High School. Next year, she will be attending the University of California, Santa Barbara, to play volleyball. She hopes to study mechanical engineering or physics. At DeLaSalle she is a captain of her varsity volleyball team, in which she holds multiple school records. Recently, a report was conducted by WCCO discussing her accomplishments. Through the great opportunities the Aspirations community has to offer, this past summer she had the amazing opportunity to intern with the Minnesota Twins Major League Baseball Team under their Business Analyst Systems Department in Application and Software Development at Target Field. The past two years she has participated on a robotics team, Team B.O.B. (Black, Outstanding, Beautiful), which has done exceptionally well in competition. Some clubs and extracurriculars she also partakes in at DeLaSalle are the National Honors Society, the Student Ambassador Program, L.E.A.P. (Lasallians for Equity And Peace), which is a social education club, and ILA (Islander Leadership Academy), which is a committee for identified leaders and captains of the school. Additionally, she has 100+ volunteer hours working with youth in her community. Her commitment to both her academics and extracurricular activities showcases her dedication to personal growth and leadership. This well-rounded experience not only enhances her skills but also prepares her for future challenges and opportunities beyond DeLaSalle.
