Hello, my name is Jonathan Juarez, I am currently about to start my first semester at Perry technical school in Yakima Washington. I will be pursuing a career in electrical technology, and I hope to be a skilled electrician in the future. My future plans are to find a Job out on the west side of my state and further advance my electrical career and become a journeyman to start my own electrical business hopefully. I want to be able to provide for my wife and our future family we want to plan and be able to provide a good income to be able to put my wife through her own schooling for her future as well. A time that I have had to overcome some sort of adversity was during the years 2016-2018, this was a rough time for my family that I was living with due to my father sustaining an injury from work that left him disabled from his right arm for about 3 years. during this time my father was a carpenter working for a union out in Seattle and was working on the opposing side of an elevator shaft and had his arm crushed by the elevator while it was coming down. my father was the main source of income for my mother and little sisters and when he had his accident he could not work for almost 3 years while he recovered from his accident. I came home and moved back in with my family to help take care of my father with his injury by helping take over the chores he did in and around the house as well as work a full-time job to help my mother pay for the rent on their mortgage. it was a rough time as well since my father also lost his mother during this same year his accident happened so depression set in on him so it made the 3 years really rough more than things already were but my own drive to help my family during this time is what kept me going. I am happy to say that after those 3 years it made me realize that family can be taken away from me at any moment and that I would do anything for them.
