I aspire to create UAVs that can supply aid, medical equipment, and other cargo to places ravaged by natural disasters and war where conventional vehicles are not practical. To accomplish this goal I have joined and taken leadership at my school's National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) chapter, gained an internship at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory where I work on an inertial navigation system and took up the hobby of building and racing quadcopters. I have been accepted and plan on going to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) a school notorious for producing exceptional engineers. At RPI I plan to study aerospace engineering, as well as continue serving NSBE, and develop my hobby.
