Nobody is quite the same as the person next to you. Maybe they have different hobbies, or different values, or a different ethnicity. We're all different, but that is what makes us unique. I am a Highschool Senior who has a very large goal for my life, and this is what makes me unique. generally, when you're a senior in high school most people don't know what they want to do after they graduate, but not me. I know exactly what I want to do and I have already put actions in place to ensure that my goals are accomplished. When I graduate I am going to move to Pitchit, Thailand to teach English to children that live there. I will be able to help these children learn a vital language for their success around the world. This is a 6-month long humanitarian trip, so I won't get paid to teach these children. I am simply doing it because I love children and want to help kids all around the globe have a better life. I am excited to help the communities and cities in Thailand while I am living there. After this humanitarian trip, I am going to attend college and get my bachelors in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education. I have 2 years of experience with children already and I am so excited to be able to help the kids in my community further after I have my degree. My goal is to teach 1st-grade Special Education this is a very important stage in children's lives and I am excited to take on the responsibility to improve these children's lives and help them become the best version of themselves they can become. This is how I am planning on giving back to my community, I am going to teach and nurture their children and help them become the best children they can become. I know teaching was meant for me. I have been working in the childcare field since I was 16, and it is challenging but it makes it all the more rewarding. I love the kids I have gotten to work with so far and I'm excited to meet all the children I will teach in the future. I feel that these goals make me unique, I know what I want and I am willing to put forth the effort and the grit to get what I want in my life. I will persevere and not stop fighting til I get what I have been working toward since I was 16. I will have gumption.

The dream version of myself is a teacher in Thailand teaching English to children. I have already made plans to do this in 2024, and I am so excited to be able to fulfill my dream and be able to help the children in Thailand learn English.

It was my freshman year of high school. I enrolled in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. I didn't think much of these classes until I got to teach the kids in Early childhood education. They flipped my world all around. I loved working with these kids, And I had an aptitude for it as well. I loved getting to know these kids and helping teach them. It gave me the confidence to know I can do this. I loved this class so much that I continued to take this class until I graduated. I loved this class so much that I changed my career plan because of them. I loved this class so much that the moment I turned 16 I went out and got a job in childcare. I couldn't be more grateful for those kids because they helped me find the right career. My name is Jenna Robbins I Am going to college to get my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I love working with children and have been working with elementary-age kids in a professional setting since I was 16. since then I have worked intensely with children with special needs as well as neurotypical children. I have worked at a daycare and preschool, and now I am a nanny to children with special needs. I have big plans for my future career in Eduction. In summer 2023 I will be working at UVU as a mentor for middle school-age children teaching them STEM. Then I will attend my first year of higher education at Utah Tech afterward I will move to Thailand for the summer of 2024 to teach 1st-3rd graders English. I will then move back and finish my final 3 years of college at Utah Tech. all of the kids I have worked with during this time give me the passion and drive that makes me love this job. Right now it's just a job, but soon enough it will be my career, and I couldn't be more excited. As much as I love this job, I know that some hard things come with it. Yes, you have kids to love and care for, but this job makes it a little harder to love and care for your own family. I plan on living frugally and possibly getting a minor in Special Education to help support my own family when I have one. I don't feel that there are many sacrifices I have had to make so far regarding this career, but I do know that this career will give me many in the future. These struggles and sacrifices won't stop me from loving what I will do, and the positive impact I can make on this future generation. I hope you will consider me for your scholarship. Thank you for your time and consideration.
