SkipSchool Scholarship
Many scientists have paved a way for future innovations; however, my favorite scientist out of them all is Howard Walter Florey. Florey was an Australian pharmacologist who was born September 24, 1898, and later died on February 21, 1968. He was able to turn Penicillin into a functional drug as he and his team were the first to produce a vast amount of Penicillin, better known as an antibiotic. This discovery resulted in Howard Florey, Sir Alexander Fleming, and Ernest Boris Chain jointly receiving a Nobel Prize in 1945 for Physiology and Medicine.
Bold Moments No-Essay Scholarship
During my junior year, I decided to run for Miss Jim Hill. This was a bold moment for me because this decision was completely out of my comfort zone. Although I was not crowned as Miss Jim Hill, I was delighted to fulfill my position as Miss Senior and represent my senior class. This picture was taken the day of our coronation which was one of many activities planned during our homecoming week. All in all, I made this decision mainly to have fun and create memories that I can look back on of my senior year.
