I have many life goals. My main goal is to be able to support and raise my own family. I would also like to work to help some social injustices. I would like to help them mostly in my community, but I would also like to travel to other places to be able to help out as many people as I possibly can. I am very passionate about social injustices. The one that bothers me the most is hunger. I know that it will be very hard to end hunger but as long as I can help some people, raise awareness, and raise money for organizations that help with hunger, or possibly even start my own then I will be happy. I think this among other things makes me a great candidate for a scholarship. I will not be able to go to college without financial help, because of me living with my single mother who struggles to pay the bills. If I do not get financial help to go to college then I would go straight into the workforce to help my mother.

Bold Books Scholarship
Leadership Strategy and Tactics is the most inspiring book I have read. It was written by, Jocko Willink, a former Navy SEAL that was part of task Unit Bruiser; the most decorated special operations unit in Navy SEAL history. This book has always been interesting to me because I have always had a lot of respect for people that have served the military. The book is a self-help guide that does not only apply to the military, but also any leadership role in everyday life. I have always aspired to become a boss and I think this book will help me in the future. The book also talks about being a subordinate and leading as one. I think this will also help me since, like most people, I will most likely not start right away in a leadership position. I will have to work my way up the "ranks" which was also talked briefly about in this amazing book. For whoever reads this, I highly recommend this book.
Bold Longevity Scholarship
I think the best way to live a long and healthy life is to do the following: meditate, listen to a wide variety of music, work out, eat healthy, read books, and do what you want. You should meditate and self-reflect to help center yourself and keep your mind at ease. You should listen to a wide variety of music so that you are aware of different cultures and perspectives. You should also do this with books. Reading also will help you expand your vocabulary and think for yourself. You should work out and eat healthy because this can help you be more self-confident and healthy, which will make it less likely for you to get sick. You should also do what you want because this will help you live a happier life. Living a happier life will help you live a longer life. You should not do any of these things excessively. You cannot get dependent or greedy. You should find moderation in what you do. This may be hard to do, but it is possible.
Studyist Education Equity Scholarship
I think that educational inequity is something we should all stand for because of how it affects the less fortunate. Just because someone doesn't have much money does not mean that cannot excel in college, trade, or even high school. Schools should be free to attend or at least a lot cheaper because many of the less fortunate will stay poor if they do not have anything, like a dream job that college is required for, to strive for.
Pandemic's Box Scholarship
The pandemic has helped me get a job since so many people did not work. It also, strangely, helped my mental health. It helped me find myself and what I want to do in the future.
Bold Friendship Matters Scholarship
Friendship is very important to me. It can create a relationship stronger than blood. Not that you can't have friendships with family members, you can! Your closet friends, family or not, should make the feel comforted and loved. Friendship is very important weather that be in school, work, sports, or your home. You need friendship to communicate. Friendship is sometimes more important than blood. There may be someone in your family that means nothing to you, like my father. My father may be blood, but over the years of abuse I have learned that blood means nothing. Friendship helps me get up in the morning; especially the friendship with my girlfriend for nearly a year. She helps me when I'm feeling down. She is always there for me. Friendship means trust. You should trust friends. Friendship means loyalty. You should be loyal to your friends. Friendship means community. You should live in communion with your friends. This is MY definition of friendship. This does not mean it is anyone elses. It is MINE!
Bold Growth Mindset Scholarship
I keep a growth mindset in many ways. The ones that help me the most are: self reflecting, meditating, and listening to calmer music than I used to. I often do all of these at the same time. I listen to calm music or sometimes just music that'll help get me thinking. My favorite artist to listen to is Pink Floyd. They help me think and often I will go off into a deep trancelike state and reflect on stuff as little as a mistake on a test to a death of a loved one. Something else that helps me stay in a growth mindset is watching others with, seemingly, everything against them succeed. I see the hard work they put in and try my best to replicate it. There is one person I know personally. His name is Marco. He is an immigrant from Venezuela. He is not that rich, but his family decided to send him to a private school. In which, he is a straight A student and has aspirations in careers that help others. His hard work is going to get him there. He can be whatever he wants to be. He has a lot more going on in his life than me. This makes me believe I can work hard to become anything I want.
Bold Patience Matters Scholarship
Being patient is now a lot more important to me than in the past. Now I have to worry about scholarships, getting accepted to college, and other financial problems. I have to keep reminding myself; "Just be patient." or "It will be okay.". Although it is hard to do this, I have found a good way to help calm myself done; which in return, helps me be patient. I have been listening to more calming music than I used to. I have been listening to a lot of Pink Floyd and other more instrumental music. I often like to listen to this music before I go to sleep to help me be patient. I have been struggling with anxiety for as long as I can remember. Listening to this music, self-reflecting, and meditating have all helped me be patient. The main reason being patient is important to me is so I can stay at a calm state of mind, so it doesn't affect the ones I love that I surround myself with. They are more important to me than myself. This is not always the best way to think, but it is how I think. I have to stay patient for myself, but more importantly for those I love.
SkipSchool Scholarship
My favorite artist is Pink Floyd. I think that they have very calming music that you can self-reflect to. They also have a wide variety of music that can help you get in an almost meditative state of mind.
