Since returning to Puerto Rico, to support my educational goals & provide for my son, I am completing a certificate in Mixology, which enables me to generate income while pursuing a B.A. in Political Science + B.S. in Physics. As I advance toward my degrees at Ava G. Mendez University, my academic journey is driven by a mission to become a catalyst for change. My studies focus on renewable energy, modern infrastructure, & social equity. Ultimately, my goal is to harness the potential of photonic science to revolutionize Puerto Rico’s infrastructure. By integrating advanced photonic technologies, I aim to address the island's critical energy challenges and enhance its resilience. My vision includes developing high-efficiency photovoltaic systems to boost solar energy production and implementing smart grid technologies with real-time photonic sensors for optimized energy management. These innovations are not just technological advancements; they are essential steps towards creating a more sustainable and equitable energy future for Puerto Rico.
