Hi! I'm Bella, a second-year marketing student at Drexel University, and  I’m always on the lookout for my next adventure. Whether diving into a new hobby, traveling to a new place, or meeting new people, I’ve grown a lot from the shy kid I was in high school. Back then, I was quiet and preferred to stay in my comfort zone, but now I’m all about seeing what the world has to offer. This past year has been full of new experiences! I’ve learned to edit videos (a lot more fun than I expected), taught myself how to play the guitar (still working on those calluses), and even experimented with makeup and fashion to express myself more. Additionally, working with kids during my Soccer Shots internship has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done—it was awesome seeing them light up and grow every time I got to coach them! I find myself on Bold.org as a first-generation college student from a low-income family, and scholarships help me to pursue my dreams. My parents came from Mexico to the U.S. and have worked incredibly hard; I do everythingI can to help them, knowing their sacrifices are why I’m here.  Additionally, one thing that defines me is my love for music. My playlist is like a passport stamped with every genre imaginable, thanks to the different sounds and styles I’ve been exposed to over the years. In person, you’d probably find me with my earphones in, vibing to something new as I walk through wherever. In short, I’m all about learning, growing, and connecting—whether through new experiences, new people, or just a good song! :)
