I am an aspiring physicist who is looking to live my fullest life by helping others and learning all the time. My goal is to work for an influential company such as SpaceX or CERN to bring change to the world though the means of science. I have been taught the meaning of education and always make the most of any opportunities I find. I am about to gradutate highschool with my high school diploma and Associates Degree. I realize the potential in my life; this is why I am pursuing such ambitions. I will utilize any investment made into the education I need to earn my Master's in Physics.

Youssef University’s College Life Scholarship
If I recieved a thousand dollars right now, I would put half of it towards my college tuition and the other half towards my manditory on-campus living expenses. I am majoring in physics but very few around me are doing the same. And doing something alone can require a bit of help. That is why I am willing to bite at any opertunity not as an easy out, but as a boost to my ability to study while I'm at college.
Though, saying that I would put a thousand dollars towards my college education is doing my future self a disservice. What I really mean when to say is that I will use a thousand dollars to water my crops of success. I am fighting to go to college. Why? Because it is my duty as a citizen and human to make the world a better. My end goal is to find a meaningful carreer that will provide me with an income that enables me to be an important member to society. I will know if I have succeeded in the future if I am able to provide the same thousand dollars to another fighting spirit like my own. The end goal is to be a more impactful humanitarian while also learning as much as possible about the wonders of the natural universe.
Bold Bucket List Scholarship
Every time I think of the term 'bucket list', I think of the things I want to do to define my life as Hunter Meyer. Primarily, I am stiving to work at SpaceX, where I could work for the future of humanity aside from my paycheck. Before I can do that, I need to finish my education which is a dream in itself, learning about the very functionality of the universe. This is an aspiration of mine because learning about physics will be a new spectacle through which I will be able to see the world in an enriched way. But this goal has no purpose if I never truly see the world. That is why I would love to travel to see the 7 wonders of the world while getting to enjoy hiking and back-packing along the way, a hobby of mine.
With these things always in the front of my mind, I chose to start with the goal on which I could first start working: my education. I have put my nose to the grindstone by taking part in a dual-enrollment program called Running-Start. Through this, I have been taking on a full load of college classes at my local community college. I am on track to earn an Associate’s in Science by the time I graduate later this year.
I have been given the gift of life. I have been blessed with a curious mind and a sense of ambition. I intend on not letting these things go to waste. In closure, I would like to bring a concept to mind: The Butterfly Effect. Just as the flap of a butterfly's wing in Brazil may cause a tornado in Canada, $500 could be the action that leads a student to discover Unified Field Theory.
