I also learned that it's important to appreciate and value the people who are still in my life. My mother's death made me realize how precious life is and how important it is to cherish every moment with those who are still here. I now make an effort to be kind and show my appreciation for the people in my life, because I know that one day they won't be here. Finally, I've learned that I have to fight for what I want in life. My absolute favorite Netflix series or movie is The Platform. It's a science fiction thriller set in a prison with a unique structure. The inmates are divided into two levels, the top and the bottom. Every day, a platform filled with food descends from the top to the bottom, and the inmates must fight for their share. It's a thrilling movie that explores the power dynamics of those on the top and those on the bottom and how the system can be manipulated for one's own benefit. When watching the movie I noticed the movie did an excellent job of showing us whether inside a prision or outside world there's always power dynamic in everything. Especially, if you look at how the corporate world works and how unhealthy it can be for individuals to work in such enviroment. The Platform is a thrilling movie with unexpected plot twists and a thought-provoking message. It's a perfect movie to watch if you're looking for something to keep you on the edge of your seat. The tension builds up as the inmates battle for their share of the food on the platform. The movie also makes you think about the power dynamics between those on the top and those on the bottom. It's a powerful exploration of the power struggle between the haves and have-nots. The movie is well-acted and the cinematography is stunning. The visuals are captivating and the score is haunting. It's a movie that will keep you guessing until the very end. It truly left me at shock, throughout the movies there were trenmendously lots of details I did not catch on or notice until reading and watching from others perspectives. The ending of the movie made me think very deeply about the whole movie and had tons of questions. As if, they can carry on to make another movie if they wanted but the ending was also good where it left the viewers think and draw their own thoughts and ideas. I was a bit sad, that there wouldn't be a second one but who knows they might do make another great one. If you're looking for a captivating and thought-provoking movie to keep you entertained, then The Platform is an excellent choice. It's an exciting movie with a powerful message that will keep you guessing until the very end. Clear your weekend and binge-watch it; you won't regret it!

Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart are two of the most classic and iconic Nintendo games of all time. To this day, they are still widely played and cherished. The adrenaline of playing Mario Kart, for example, is unmatched - a thrilling race around the track, with characters from the beloved Mario universe. There is an undeniable feeling of joy and excitement as you race to the finish line, trying to dodge banana peels and other obstacles along the way. My favorite game to play in co-op mode is Mario Kart. I’ve been playing it with my friends for years, and it always brings us closer together. One of the most memorable moments I’ve experienced while playing Mario Kart was when my friends and I had a mini-tournament. We started out with a round robin tournament, and then the best two players raced in the final. It was an incredibly intense race, and I remember the feeling of excited anticipation as we raced around the track. In the end, my friend emerged as the victor. The victory was a sweet one, and it solidified Mario Kart as my favorite game to play in co-op mode. Mario Kart is an incredibly fun game to play in co-op mode, and it has been bringing my friends and I together for years. She would often stay up late to help me review materials and go over practice tests. She constantly reminded me nothing good comes easy and that I have to continue to be dedicated to my dreams and work hard for them. When it came time to apply for college, my mother was there every step of the way. She assisted me with filling out applications, researching schools, and preparing for interviews. She also made sure that I was able to get the financial aid that I needed to attend a college of my choice. She was a big advocate for choosing the school that was best for me in the long run. She helped me look at the bigger picture of my career My mother has also been a great source of encouragement and advice when it comes to my career. Whenever I was faced with a difficult decision, she was always there to give me an honest opinion. Additionally, she has provided support and guidance when it comes to job hunting and networking. She has always been a great advocate for me and has helped me to take the steps necessary to reach my goals. She reminds me of my roots and upbringing to help me stay humble in whatever I do and remind myself why I do the things I do. With that reminder, it has helped me keep my head down and work hard. She was a strong and independent woman and I admired her greatly for it. She worked hard to make sure I had the things I needed to succeed in life and she always encouraged me to follow my dreams and reach for the stars. My mom inspired me to believe in myself and to never give up no matter how hard things got. She taught me the importance of hard work and never settling for less than I deserved. One of the biggest hardships I have had to overcome is financial difficulties. I am a first-generation college student, which has made the journey to achieve my educational goals difficult. I have had to work hard and make sacrifices to pay for my education and living expenses. Despite the struggles, I have persevered and managed to stay focused on my goal of becoming a nurse. The hardships I have faced have made me more determined to succeed in my nursing career. They have instilled in me a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. I am confident that I will be able to use these qualities to make a positive impact on the lives of my patients. The hardships as a first-generation Asian immigrant student have only made me stronger and pushed me to be the best nurse I can possibly be as well as to inspire other Asian immigrant students in the health field. As a sophomore in high school, I have decided to pursue the health pathway offered at my high school. Meaning that I would take general classes like everyone else but also extra health courses to graduate with the health course. Additionally, I have taken more extra health classes to further explore my passion and curiosity for the health field. From my senior year of high school, I had aspirations of becoming a registered nurse or nurse practitioner. After two years of college, I decided to commit to becoming a registered nurse specializing in pediatric or NICU care. To further my knowledge and experience in the field of nursing, I have also been actively volunteering in my community. I have dedicated more than 200+ hours to volunteering at a local hospital and clinic, specifically in the NICU, surgery, and receptionist COVID-19 center. My volunteering experiences in these departments have helped me gain a better understanding of the complex healthcare field and have allowed me to apply the knowledge I have gained in my classes to real-world situations. Furthermore, in my high school years, I have also been involved in multiple health clubs created by my high school as well as the HOSA and Wolverine pageant. The pageant aims to raise awareness and funds for children in the NICU. After application, interview, tryouts there are nine exceptional seniors have been chosen as the faces of our high school to work with Children's Miracle Network in order to fundraise for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) over the course of the entire year. My contestants and I raised $23,000 for the NICU in 2019. Being a part of the pageant has increased my love for babies which has confirmed my love to be an RN for pediatrics/NICU. My journey to becoming a nurse has been long and challenging, but I am now finally able to start my first year of studies in January 2024. After two years of waiting in the highly competitive field of nursing. I am excited to use the knowledge and experiences I have gained to help others and make a positive difference in the world. Ever since I was in high school, I have known that I wanted to work in the health field and have not considered any other career path. It was during a college tour in Portland, Oregon as a sophomore in high school when I had my "aha moment" and knew that nursing was the right career path for me. This was further reinforced through classes such as anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, which all piqued my interest and drove me to pursue nursing.
