I've always been fascinated with planes, and as a child, in Haiti, I used to see them frequently in the skies. I've always wished I could work on or even board one. At school, Many of my friends had no dreams since they knew they couldn't come true because there is no work or employment available in my country when you graduate from school. I was aware that this country had little to offer, but I had always loved airplanes, and I knew that nowhere in Haiti could provide me with the opportunity or the means to learn this trade. My family is impoverished, and I lived only with my mom I never met my dad; she has always worked long hours and through her tears to support me. One day I received the excellent news that I would be coming to the United States, I was thrilled but grieved by the fact that I would have to leave my mother behind. I then made a promise to her that I would work hard so that I would be able to support her in the future and bring her to the United States. I first arrived in Miami when I first came to the US, and then I relocated to California to live with my untie. While I still had the same dream, my life started to change. At school, I was welcomed by all the teachers, but the students were different and trying to fit in, so they started making fun of me because of my accent and the fact that I didn't even understand the language. They made fun of me since I was dressed in sheepskin and when they saw that I had a language barrier they made fun of me. Despite everything I knew from the moment I first arrived in the United States that as long as I set my goals and worked hard, I could become anything I wanted to become. working diligently in class I developed into a superb student who constantly handed in homework on time and received high grades. I was suffering so much as a result of mistreatment at home and school that my other side of the family became aware of it, and one day I went to Miami, where things began to change around. I got into a beautiful school, and my cousin, who loved me so much and knew that I had a love for airplanes, wanted to help me fulfill my ambition. She assisted me in enrolling in a dual-enrollment institution named George T. Baker Aviation Technical College. It was difficult for me to get into George T. Baker Aviation Technical College since there were many applicants before me, and I had to have outstanding scores. They reviewed my scores and I got accepted When I was accepted, I was so thrilled that I said, "My future is looking bright now; as long as I work hard and focus, I will make it." George T. Baker Aviation was the best decision I've ever made since I get to work on planes and learn new things every day. I've been in this program for four years. I've been doing this since my freshman high school year, and I still enjoy airplanes. Now that I'm graduating, and going to college I'm eager to learn more about this profession.
