Hey!! I am Hannah. I am familiar with flavors, through my Indian background. As I grew up, I realized everything has its own flavor, whether it is food or life. I never thought when my parents forced me to join Bharatnatyam, an Indian classical dance form, it would bring an extraordinary vibe into my life. Now, whenever I start dancing, I feel a spectacular flavor in my life. When my parents realized I have the skill of an artist, they brought all the supplies for me to draw, paint and create crafts. Now I enjoy these flavors in my leisure time by painting on stones, canvas, and anything else I find around my house. I value personal development. Personal development and self-improvement are life processes. Learning new skills and gaining knowledge improves one's life which can lead to the overall well-being of a person. I once read if you give a fish to a man, he will be fed for a day. If you teach him to fish, you will provide for him for the rest of his life. I believe higher education will be able to teach me how to fish.
I have brilliant leadership skills, which not only help me lead my team and support and motivate my peers. I am a leader, who doesn’t support only from the front but works with the team. I know how to inspire others. I am organized and reliable. I am great at communicating and supporting others, both physically and mentally, and emotionally. I always have a positive and realistic outlook on life, and always find joy in everything. I dream to make my mark on this world, through the flavors I possess in me.

Growth opportunities are crucial for success and fulfillment. Putting oneself in an inspiring environment aids in the development of personality, attitude, productivity, and overall quality of life. The people we surround ourselves with influence our moods and thoughts, an undeniable force that shapes our daily experiences and how we perceive the world. A healthy mind can work effectively and contribute to society if you have self-satisfactory activities that make you productive and contribute to the positive development of this world.
I am a responsible and accountable individual who motivates and encourages others. I am deeply committed to assisting others in achieving success and realizing their dreams.
I was a member of the honor society in middle and high school. I did a lot of volunteer work to bring a positive impact on the community. I went to soup kitchens and prepared goodie bags with essential everyday items for the homeless. I participated in My Sister’s Keeper fund program, where we raised money for mental health awareness to support research on the study habits of mentally challenged kids. I used to help in the local library and teachers at school to organize their rooms. I was part of Finxurent, where we advocated for the promotion of free health care for all of New York, by writing Journal pages. We contacted senators to provide our views and represent our support. I was part of the Bridge to Literacy, where I taught the English language to a Spanish-speaking girl in Honduras. Currently, I volunteer at Bored of Boredom, to teach math and English to a neurologically diverse child.
I always search for opportunities to volunteer and provide my support to the community. I volunteer in church, community, and school. It helps me understand others, and take challenges in my life. It gives me pleasure to know I am giving back to society.
I want to pursue a career in computer engineering and focus on graphic design. I find it fascinating that technology has grown so much in the past years that we cannot see a future without it. It is exhilarating and inspirational to consider being a part of this continuous technological change. Being at the forefront of innovation and developing solutions that have the potential to alter how we work and live appeals to me. The dynamic character of the subject, which emphasizes the need for ongoing learning and adaptability, fits well with my desire to discover and take on new challenges. My dream is to work as a graphic designer because I have a strong desire to make goods that not only look good but also deeply encourage the notion that life is best lived in the arts. The field of graphic design is an infinite canvas on which various visual components can be combined to express ideas, arouse feelings, and inspire change. In a technologically driven environment, graphic designers play a crucial role in communicating complex concepts and enabling user interaction, going beyond simple aesthetics. The idea of assisting in this progress and bridging the divide between users and cutting-edge technology through design intrigues me. My goal as a designer is to make things simpler, encourage interaction from users, and make a positive impact on a more technologically advanced, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital world.
I know that my passion can help millions reach their dreams. I see a million other dreams that can be funded through this, which allows me to help.

When I am immersed in academic work, I frequently find it difficult to prioritize my well-being. I play many roles in my family and community. I participate in and plan church events, assist with school events, and am a member of different clubs. I offer volunteer services and contribute at home. I also work as an intern and am a senior in high school. With all of these tasks and building the future I dream of, I frequently forget that I need rest to recharge, leading to burnout. Recognizing what was necessary, I picked myself up and began incorporating things that I knew will assist me.
I have started prioritizing and time-blocking my work, consequently allowing me to prioritize myself. Through social media, I became acquainted with the Pomodoro method, which has significantly helped me balance my work. I have picked up meditation, which I execute when I take five-minute breaks. I rest my eyes on an object in front of me and concentrate on my breathing. Journaling has allowed me to dump everything that has been running in my brain on a sheet of paper, making it easier to prioritize and work on. I believe being mindful of my state of being has advanced my growth.
I also work on my interests whenever I take a break. My hobbies include reading, painting, dancing, and traveling. Reading broadens my thinking while painting and traveling allow me to explore new concepts and places. I am a skilled classical dancer who has been studying Bharatanatyam for fourteen years. This dancing form improves my physical fitness by increasing muscle strength, blood flow, and bone density. It also enhances my concentration. When I incorporated Bharatanatyam movements into my exercise routine, it allowed me to feel flexible, with unrestricted mobility, strong back muscles, and a powerful respiratory system. Keeping our torso steady while keeping our hands and lower limbs steady helps with balance and keeping our posture straight. My memory and imagination are stimulated as I have to remember long sequences of steps. Regular practice helped me improve my task performance, decision-making ability, and mental workload handling.
Self-improvement, good health, and spiritual growth are my top priorities. Working on my growth boosts my confidence and determination to work harder for a brighter future.
A healthy mind can work effectively and contribute to society. Sacrifices must be made for the future we envision, but do not sacrifice yourself since the future you envision cannot exist without you.

Other than academics, I spend my time practicing classical dance. Specifically, a dance form called Bharatanatyam, where you express emotions through strong gestures. It is one of the widely recognized and oldest dance forms, expressing religious themes and spiritual ideas.
I believe this dance form can improve one’s quality of life. Mental fitness, a positive attitude, and improved concentration are other benefits I experienced from this. Apart from improving flexibility, blood flow, muscle strength, and bone density, Bharatanatyam can contribute to mental and spiritual well-being. It can improve memory because it involves retrieving dance steps, facial expressions, and hand gestures. It also improves motor response due to its quick yet controlled movements. I discovered that some individuals integrate the movements of this dance into their daily workouts. Memory and imagination are stimulated as we have to remember long sequences of steps. Regular practice helped me improve my task performance, decision-making ability, and mental workload handling. Bharatanatyam helps me feel relaxed, relieve stress, and be productive. It increases my happiness and sense of satisfaction, and now it is a part of my life.
