Currently, I am attending Utah State University. I am majoring in landscape architecture and minoring in ornamental horticulture. While attending Utah State I strive to take at least 15 credits a semester and work 20-25 hours a week. These experiences are teaching me how to live life to the fullest and get the most out of every opportunity I am submerged in. Having adventures while being successful in life is what is most important to me while I'm growing up.

When I look outside I see the beauty of nature. There is something about the landscape that just intrigues and draws my attention to how I can make it more beautiful. As a child, I spent most of my days outdoors soaking in the sun and my surroundings. There were many times when my father would have me help him plant trees in our yard or my mother would have me help her in the garden. My family strived to have a gorgeous yard for the look and feel of how our environment. From my past to my current life I have made an effort to accomplish a difference in the atmosphere.
These events from my past have wanted me to proceed with making the world and my environment a more beautiful place. When I think about Earth I think about a green place with a striking color to it. When I decided I wanted to go into landscape architecture I decided I wanted to help people achieve their dream vision of what they want their world, and environment to look like. This will go to help other people and the earth achieve peak virtue. When going into the green industry some positives can be avoiding added costs, establishing community relationships, and increasing productivity. Drawing up plans and talking to future clients about how they can better their surroundings has piqued my interest. When wanting to change the green industry I think about creating parks, yards, golf courses, college campuses, and public spaces, and creating a more sustainable way to live. Even going as far as renewable energy, water conservation, and recycling initiatives can take an effect on how our Earth can be more sustainable. Throughout this process, the green industry can advance in the United States and bordering countries.
I have been surrounded my whole life by people that enjoy making a difference in their landscape and people that enjoy architecture. This in turn has taken an effect on wanting to do the same thing as the past people in my life. When I thought about what I wanted to do for the rest of my life I wanted something that would get me outside instead of sitting at an office desk for the rest of my life. This opportunity to aid the green industry will give me that chance of traveling and getting out of my comfort zone. In my future career, I hope to have the chance to better the green industry.
