I am a current senior at Circle High School in a rural town in Kansas. I am carrying a 4.0 GPA while taking honors and college classes. I am working towards graduating with my Associates Degree in Information Technology Systems with an emphasis in Cyber Security from Wichita State University Technology School while finishing my high school degree. I am also a member of the National Honor's Society where I do several hours of community service as well as a member of my high school soccer team. My goal is to graduate as a Valedictorian of my high school along with a 4.0 in my college classes. I then plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I am looking forward to being involved in extra curricular clubs and sports in college while giving back to my community.

As a computer science student, my ultimate goal is to become a software engineer and work on developing innovative technology that can improve people's lives. The field of computer science is constantly evolving, and I am excited by the prospect of being a part of this dynamic and rapidly growing industry. I am particularly interested in the field of artificial intelligence and its potential to solve some of the world's most pressing problems, such as climate change, healthcare and transportation. I believe that AI has the potential to revolutionize the way we live and work, and I am eager to be a part of this technological advancement.
In the short term, I aim to gain a solid foundation in computer science concepts and programming languages through my coursework and internships. I am currently taking classes in programming languages, web development, and computer systems. These classes have given me a deeper understanding of the underlying principles of computer science and have helped me develop the skills I need to become a successful software engineer.
In addition to my computer science goals, I also have non-computer science goals that I am passionate about. One of these goals is to give back to my community, particularly the Native American community. Growing up as a Native American, although I do not live on a reservation, I have seen firsthand the challenges that my people face, such as poverty, lack of access to education and healthcare, and lack of representation in the tech industry. I want to use my knowledge and skills to help improve the lives of my people, particularly in the areas of education and economic development. I believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and providing better opportunities for my people.
I believe that these goals can be combined in the future by working on technology projects that have a positive impact on the Native American community. For example, I could work on developing an educational app that teaches Native American children about their culture and history, or work on a project that uses AI to help improve economic opportunities for Native American businesses. I could also work on projects that use technology to address issues such as healthcare and environmental sustainability in Native American communities.
Being a Native American has affected my goals in a positive way. It has also motivated me to be an advocate for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, and to ensure that underrepresented communities are not left behind in the digital age. I believe that it is important to have a diverse range of perspectives in the tech industry, and I want to be a role model for other Native American students who are interested in pursuing a career in computer science.
In conclusion, my computer science goals are to become a software engineer and work on developing innovative technology that can improve people's lives. My non-computer science goals are to give back to my community and help improve the lives of my people, particularly in the areas of education and economic development. I believe that these goals can be combined in the future by working on technology projects that have a positive impact on the Native American community. Being a Native American has given me a sense of pride and responsibility to use my skills to help improve the lives of my people. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and am determined to make a difference in the world through my work in the field of computer science.
