Hello! My name is Grace Bottomley(they/them) and I am a current first year at UC Davis in the Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology Major. I like to mountain bike, send post cards, play softball, find new study spots on campus, hike, volunteer, spend time with my dogs, read, and go camping. I am very passionate about academics and plan to one day pursue a career in either the wildlife/conservation field or the veterinary field, specifically in the emergency medicine branch.
At UC Davis I currently work at the Museum of Wildlife and Fish Biology in the osteology department, cleaning skeletons to be entered into the museum. Along with this I also spend my summers working as a summer camp supervisor and am going to start volunteering at a veterinary ER near my hometown in the summer of 2024.
At my high school I was the Study Body President, Co-President of the Interact Volunteering Club, Co-President of the GSA, had a 3.87 unweighted GPA and a weighted GPA of 4.31. As well as taking 8 AP classes and 4 honors classes over the course of high school.
