Imagine a world in which kids are chosen as tributes and forced to fight to the death on live television, all while wearing magnificent clothes. This is the dystopian nightmare of Suzanne Collins' book, "The Hunger Games." Now, before you reject this as regular old fiction, you have to hear me out. Let's be honest and candid, the real world throws its own curveballs like nasty roommates, group projects, that existential dread that lingers over leftover pizza - and Katniss Everdeen, our tough protagonist, demonstrates some unexpectedly transferable survival abilities. First, there is resourcefulness. If you have read the book, remember how Katniss wore a mockingjay pin as a sign of rebellion? This is some real revolutionary marketing! When you're in college and faced with a pile of ramen noodles and a bottomless pit of textbooks, you have to think outside the box. Perhaps it means trading your history notes for last week's cafeteria leftovers, or transforming your ramen into a gourmet stir-fry with ketchup (hey, desperate times!). Second, the value of allies. Katniss would not have lasted five minutes in the arena without Rue, District 11's nimble tribute. College is no different. Find your Rue, a loyal, honest, funny best friend who will not only give you their Netflix password but also help you in translating the professor's unreadable writing on the whiteboard. Finally, don't underestimate the value of a solid presentation. Remember how Katniss used her archery talents to impress sponsors and gain resources? In the actual world, this translates to acing the presentation. Polish your PowerPoint skills, practice public speaking (even if it's just to your cat), and keep in mind that confidence is essential. So, "The Hunger Games" may be about teens competing in a televised death match. But beneath the glamor and gore, it's a survival lesson, a testimony to the human spirit, and an amusing reminder that sometimes all you need is a decent mockingjay pin and a companion who knows how to avoid booby traps. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a presentation to practice and some ramen to turn into a masterpiece!

In a world where people are often self-centered and individualistic, helping others stands out as a bright light that can change lives and make a difference. You cannot express enough how important it is to help others, because it not only makes communities better but also brings out the good in each person. At its core, helping other people has a ripple effect that spreads empathy and kindness throughout society. When people help each other, whether it's during a crisis or just in everyday life, they build up a combined strength that helps the weakest among us. For example, when there is a natural disaster, many volunteers and aid groups rush to help the affected communities. This shows how powerful people can be when they work together. This shared sense of support is the basis of a connected society where people feel respected, cared for, and understood, which helps bring people closer together. Ironically, helping other people is often how we find out who we are and grow as people. Kind acts, like helping a student who is having trouble or helping an older person, give a deep feeling of purpose and fulfillment. Focusing on the needs of others makes us worry less and see things from a broader viewpoint, which makes us more self-aware and gives us more power. Notably, many people have shared their stories of how they went from being helped to being leaders of positive change, which has inspired many others to start their acts of kindness. Helping other people has a big effect on your mental and emotional health, according to research. When we help someone, our brains send out "feel-good" chemicals like dopamine and endorphins, which makes us feel happy and satisfied. Researchers have also found that acts of kindness lower stress and anxiety. This is because focusing on the needs of others takes our minds off of our own worries. For example, working at a local shelter or taking part in community-led projects can give people a strong sense of purpose and happiness, which, in the long run, makes society as a whole healthier. Altruism has an amazing ability to break down social boundaries and bring people from different groups together. When we help other people, we are reminded of the common humanity that lies beneath all our differences. This helps people understand and accept each other, which makes bias and discrimination less common. For example, programs that encourage cross-cultural contacts and help poor communities have led to big changes in how people think about each other, making the world a better place for everyone. In conclusion, helping others is an important part of being human, and this is true across time, society, and borders. It's a timeless warning that a society's strength isn't just based on how well it does economically or how far its technology has come, but also on how well its people treat each other. The examples in this essay show how deeply altruism affects people, their groups, and the world as a whole. When we believe that helping others is the right thing to do, we create a shared sense of purpose, strengthen the bonds between people, and build a fabric of compassion that binds us all together.
Harry Potter and the Sorting Hat Scholarship
Millions of people around the world have been enchanted by the magical world of Harry Potter and the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Sorting Ceremony, in which each student is assigned to a house based on the results of the Sorting Hat, is a momentous event for any aspiring witch or wizard. This essay will explore why I think Gryffindor is the best fit for me. The House of Brave Hearts, Gryffindor, has produced many powerful wizards and witches over the years. It praises tenacity, resolve, and bravado in the face of hardship. Gryffindor is home to the most courageous and risk-taking students because of the importance placed on these qualities. I have an unending supply of bravery buried deep within my soul. I've always been someone who eagerly jumps into new situations, regardless of the potential danger, in order to learn and develop as a person. I have always demonstrated the courage and bravery typical of a Gryffindor, whether it is by speaking out for what's right, conquering my concerns, or taking on challenging academic and professional activities. I share the adventurous spirit and dedication to fairness of previous Gryffindors. I feel compelled to learn about the world around me and relish the opportunity to go off on adventures that will both challenge and enrich me. In addition, I take comfort in advocating for the rights of the weak, promoting equality, and promoting good causes. My unshakeable commitment to fairness and equality is in perfect harmony with Gryffindor House's time-honored reputation as protectors of the truth. The members of Gryffindor House are known for their bravery and their ability to work together and take charge. I have always been at my best when leading others and seeing them through challenging situations. I know that it takes a group effort to accomplish big things, and I have faith in the power of cooperation. I think I would do best in Gryffindor because of the emphasis placed on working together and sharing ideas. Despite the fact that every house at Hogwarts is special in its own way, I know that I would have belonged in Gryffindor. I represent Gryffindor House's defining characteristics of bravery and a commitment to doing what's right because of these qualities. It's easy to see how the values preserved by Gryffindors throughout history—courage, a love of adventure, a dedication to fairness, and a knack for leadership—jibe with my own. I can't wait for the Sorting Ceremony in the hopes that the Sorting Hat will put me in the company of the courageous and risk-taking Gryffindors.

My time spent in a high school for the arts had a huge effect on who I am today. Personal development, introspection, and an increased understanding of the transforming power of art have all flourished in this artistic community's inspiring atmosphere of free expression, artistic immersion, and cultural diversity. In this essay, I will discuss a defining moment from my time at a school for the arts, and how it has influenced my ongoing process of self-discovery and development. One of the most formative aspects of my time spent at a school for the arts was the opportunity it gave me to completely embrace and explore my expression. Here, I felt safe enough to experiment, break the rules, and explore new areas of my creativity. I found that I could express myself in ways I never thought possible through the arts, whether through painting, music, dance, or theater. This adventure sparked a fire within me and gave me a stage upon which to impart my special viewpoint to the world. Being at a school for the arts also presented me with many opportunities to prove my artistic mettle against tough competition. At times, I struggled with irritation, self-doubt, and disappointments as I worked toward mastery of a demanding musical composition. Despite this, I am stronger now for having faced these obstacles, as they taught me to be resilient and to view setbacks as learning experiences. I learned to succeed creatively through a combination of hard work, self-discipline, and a can-do attitude. My sense of community and belonging was greatly enhanced by the School of the Arts' emphasis on group projects. I witnessed the effectiveness of group innovation when collaborating with artists from many disciplines. Teamwork, empathy, and mutual respect were developed via joint efforts such as rehearsals and performances. The confidence boost and the artistic development I gained from my peers and mentors were invaluable. This group experience taught me the importance of working together and the joy that comes from welcoming other viewpoints. The power of art lies in its ability to encourage introspection and openness. I attended an arts college, where I was encouraged to use my art as a way to explore my inner world, confront my demons, and learn more about who I am. Through it, I learned so much about who I am and where I fit in the world. By putting myself out there, I was able to accept my flaws and appreciate the genuineness of others. The confidence and honesty I gained on this path of introspection have permeated every facet of my existence. Art may bring people together and make them feel for one another. My time spent at an arts institution helped me become more empathetic and self-aware. I learned a lot about myself and the world around me by exposing myself to a wide range of artistic expressions and points of view. My desire to use my artistic skills to promote social justice, equality, and inclusivity stems from my understanding of the connection between art and social change. As an artist and a person, I have developed via the opportunities to express myself freely, persevere in the face of difficulties, work with others in a supportive artistic community, explore my own vulnerabilities and strengths, and broaden my understanding of the world around me.

Adversity is an unavoidable aspect of life, providing us with unique challenges that put our resilience and drive to the test. Throughout my journey, I have faced several challenges that have molded my character and allowed me to get a deep understanding of the power of perseverance. In this essay, I will address how I have overcome difficulties and how I hope to make a positive impact on my community in the future. Life frequently throws unforeseen stumbling blocks our way, and my journey has been no exception. I encountered financial difficulties from a young age, which threatened to limit my options. I, however, refused to let adversity define me. I saw school as a means of empowerment, and I immersed myself in learning and academic success. By devoting myself to my academics and setting ambitious goals, I was able to get scholarships and grants that allowed me to overcome financial barriers and pursue higher education. Adversity not only develops character but also resilience. Personal setbacks and disappointments taught me the value of perseverance and adjusting to change. Each hurdle I overcame was a stepping stone toward personal development and self-improvement. I developed resilience and the ability to bounce back stronger by viewing adversity as an opportunity for growth rather than an obstacle. Aside from personal challenges, I confronted cultural barriers that impacted both me and my community. Discrimination, injustice, and a lack of resources were all concerns that struck a chord with me. Rather than simply accepting these injustices, I chose to actively combat them. I participated in advocacy and awareness initiatives, collaborating with others to promote inclusivity, equality, and social justice. I have worked to empower folks in my community and influence positive change by increasing awareness and challenging systemic barriers. In the future, I am motivated by a strong desire to give back to my community and contribute to its well-being. I understand the value of teamwork and envision a future in which I can have a long-term impact on the lives of others. In this approach, I intend to launch community development projects centered on education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. I hope to uplift folks and develop a sense of self-sufficiency in my community by providing access to quality education, encouraging healthcare initiatives, and supporting local entrepreneurship. Overcoming adversity is a transforming experience that changes and enhances our character. I've developed resilience and a great desire to make a difference as a result of personal hardships and societal barriers. I wish to contribute to a brighter and more inclusive future by empowering my community via education, healthcare, and economic possibilities, as well as by encouraging community engagement. I hope to encourage people to overcome adversity and make a positive difference in their own lives and communities by using my determination and unwavering commitment to service.

In the course of my life, there is one accomplishment that stands out as a tall homage to perseverance and personal progress: I won the coveted title of Public Relations Senior Officer during my senior year of high school. This accomplishment stands as a testament to tenacity and personal growth. This journey was not merely about securing a position; it was a transformative experience that taught me valuable lessons about myself and my aspirations for the future. As part of SGA at our school, it was our job to make sure that a big fundraising event went well. However, our team ran into a number of problems, such as a budget crisis, a sudden change in site, and sponsors pulling out at the last minute. I didn't let these problems stop me from rallying my team and getting them to see every challenge as a chance to grow. We chose to turn things around by using our creativity and resourcefulness to make events that will be remembered for many years to come. In the middle of all the chaos, we came up with a plan to turn the fundraiser into an exciting event with a carnival theme. Our team came up with creative ideas, such as games, food stands, and live shows. We reached out to local businesses, appealing to their sense of community, and made deals with them so we could work together. Through hard work, we were able to find new sponsors, which took care of our budget worries. On the day of the fundraiser, the things we had planned came to life. People were greeted by a lively parade, a variety of tasty treats, and fun games, which made the air buzz with energy. Our carefully planned effort got a lot of attention, drew a diverse crowd, and helped us raise more money than we had planned. During this hard time, I learned many important things about myself. I learned how important it is to be flexible and resourceful, as well as the power of creative thought to turn problems into opportunities. I also knew that I loved public relations and managing events. I got to use my speaking skills, ability to think strategically, and ability to organize. It made me feel like I had a purpose and made me want to work in public relations, where I could use my skills to help groups and communities. In the future, I hope to further my education and experience in public relations and learn more about the nuances of crisis management, media relations, and strategic messaging. I intend to graduate from my academic and professional experiences with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to succeed in the dynamic field of public relations. In addition, I hope to leave a permanent mark by lending my knowledge to non-profits and other good causes. One of my lifelong goals is to organize successful campaigns to promote education, environmental preservation, and mental health, all of which are causes near and dear to my heart. The fact that I was able to overcome insurmountable obstacles and earn the position of Public Relations Senior Officer is still my greatest success to this day. My participation in the task provided me with priceless education in the values of tenacity, adaptability, and leadership. My enthusiasm for the field of public relations was reinforced and it helped me have a better grasp on my long-term goals. I have recently gained a renewed sense of self-assurance, and as a result, I excitedly anticipate the chances that lie ahead of me. I am prepared to make a constructive contribution to the world by harnessing the power of effective communication and strategic thinking.
Hearts on Sleeves, Minds in College Scholarship
In August 2013, I experienced my first anxiety attack, a night that remains etched in my memory. Weeks earlier, my mother received news of her brother's passing, and though I didn't know him, witnessing her profound sadness affected me deeply. We flew to Louisiana for the funeral, where we indulged in delicious seafood and immersed ourselves in our family's vibrant culture. That night, as I prepared for bed, my heart began racing uncontrollably. Panicked, I told my mother I felt like I was dying. She, being a knowledgeable social worker and therapist, recognized the signs of a panic attack. I trembled, sweated, and felt nauseous while she comforted me. This episode lasted about an hour, and it wasn't until my second panic attack in 2020 that I truly understood what had happened. Ninth grade at my high school in the fall of 2019 started wonderfully. I made new friends, enjoyed my teachers, and relished the experience. However, everything changed in March when the Covid pandemic forced us into virtual learning, depriving me of social interaction. The deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor further weighed on me, prompting me to participate in rallies across Atlanta, fighting for justice and a greater cause. It also triggered an anxiety that would linger for a while. One July night, while listening to my rap playlist and preparing for a hot shower to ease my anxiety, my left arm suddenly went numb. The numbness spread to my legs and feet, and my speech became slurred. Alarmed, I rushed to the hospital with my mother. The doctors took immediate action, noting my elevated pulse and administering medication through an IV. I felt relief almost instantly. After evaluating my mental and physical health, the doctor diagnosed me with an anxiety disorder. Living with anxiety requires daily effort. It can be triggered by the smallest of events, akin to a dog jumping up when you try to tiptoe around in the middle of the night. It's a constant maze, challenging to navigate, especially when life feels like it's crumbling around you. Anxiety is like walking on a tightrope, trying to maintain balance amidst a storm. Each day brings its own set of challenges and triggers, from racing heartbeats to trembling hands and the weight of worry on your chest. It's a battle fought internally, as well as externally with the world's events. It's important not to dismiss anxiety as an overreaction or a plea for attention. Instead, understand it as a genuine struggle that individuals like me face, learning to cope and navigate through its complexities. .

Hello! My name is Gian Shepard and I am from Atlanta, Georgia. I was born in May, and I am the definition of a Taurus. I play the piano and enjoy writing. I also am a senior class officer and a zealous volunteer. Jaeda DeWalt once said, "A child's innocence is the one gift that, once stolen, can never be replaced." As a kid, I remember having the naïve idea that I would sell tons of candies and become a billionaire. That version of me had a simple mind and a vivid imagination. Being older and having to make important career decisions has made me realize that my real, genuine strength is in being an effective trainer and leader. With age, I've come to see that this is the best course for my life and me. I will be majoring in Organizational and Professional Communication at Kennesaw State University. I'll be able to create and instruct training packs with this degree. Along with that, I will be able to work in HR as well as in other leadership and conflict-resolution positions. I will be minoring in finance to further aid me in becoming a successful leader. This is the perfect path for me. I picked this career route for several reasons. I'll start by saying that I enjoy leading. I've held leadership positions ever since elementary school. I once served as the Beta Club's vice president in middle school. People perceive me as a leader and someone they can rely on. I ran for a senior class officer position in my senior year of high school and was successful. As a senior class officer, I had the opportunity to organize a successful mentorship and tutoring program. We were successful in enrolling the bulk of the school in this program because of the leadership of myself and my fellow officers. In addition, I spent a year and a half at Chick-fil-A. I was promoted to the position of trainer in just eight months. I served as a trainer, teaching employees how to create milkshakes, take orders, and navigate the menu. This is when it dawned on me that I enjoy showing others how to accomplish new things. I've worked with some of the top team members, and some of them have advanced beyond me to higher positions. Helping people achieve more is what I find inspiring. I want to major in organizational and professional communication and be successful in it because I am aware of its challenges. I don't find the challenge of various personalities to be frightening. People skills are a must in this area of focus, and I believe that I possess these said skills. Each person is unique in many different ways, and the chance to aid in their self-discovery is a blessing. There are a lot of dishonest leaders, but I want to change that statistic rather than add to it. Wherever I go with this degree, I want to stand as a pillar of ethical leadership. Making plans to better myself in terms of my schooling, personality, and future career helps me to understand who I am. People sometimes assume that everyone's goal is to earn a degree or find employment, but all these things are only a means to an end—a means to develop and be stronger. In the future, I hope to lead somewhere where people can find their interests and achieve their goals.

Imagine looking up into the night sky with the moon shining softly and the stars flashing like diamonds on a velvet canvas. The vastness and beauty of the universe are mesmerizing, igniting a sense of wonder and curiosity within us. How did it all come to be? Humans have an endless need for knowledge about the nature of the world, its mysteries, and the farthest corners of it. It's like embarking on a cosmic adventure, where we seek to unlock the secrets of the cosmos, armed with our curiosity, knowledge, and tools of science. In this essay, we'll look at the reasons why it's crucial to comprehend the nature of the cosmos as well as the theories and concepts that will help us on our cosmic quest. So buckle up your scientific curiosity, don your cosmic thinking cap, and let's set off on a mission to discover the mystifying mysteries of the cosmos! Firstly, it is crucial to comprehend the nature of our cosmos because it satisfies our inherent curiosity as humans. Our curiosity and desire to unravel the mysteries of the world are part of who we are. The universe presents us with intriguing questions about its origin, evolution, and composition. For instance, basic concerns about the nature of dark matter and dark energy, the possibility of parallel universes, and the Big Bang theory's explanation for how the universe came to be are currently being debated by scientists. These types of questions test the limits of our understanding and put our views of reality under pressure. By attempting to comprehend the nature of our universe, we fulfill our natural curiosity and increase our knowledge, which results in fresh perceptions and discoveries. Secondly, understanding the nature of our universe has practical applications that can benefit humanity. The advancements in our understanding of the universe have led to technological innovations that have transformed our lives. For example, because of our knowledge of gravity, celestial mechanics, and electromagnetism, we have been able to create technology like satellites that are used for communication, navigation, and weather forecasting. Technologies for space exploration, cancer therapy, and medical imaging have all improved as a result of research into cosmic rays and radiation. The search for extraterrestrial life has also been motivated by our growing knowledge of the universe's size and the likelihood of habitable planets. This has implications for astrobiology, biology, and the possibility of finding resources outside of Earth. Therefore, understanding the nature of the universe has practical applications that can enhance our quality of life and inspire the development of new technologies. There are several ideas and concepts that we can use to help our investigation in our quest to comprehend the nature of our universe. The scientific method, which involves methodical observation, measurement, testing, and the formation of hypotheses to test and improve our understanding of the world, is one crucial concept. The scientific method provides a methodical way to understand the universe, allowing us to gather data, develop hypotheses, and create predictions that can be put to the test and improved through observations and experiments. It is a powerful tool that has led to significant advancements in our understanding of the universe and has enabled us to make accurate predictions about the behavior of celestial bodies and phenomena. Another important idea is the concept of evidence-based reasoning. It is vital to rely on empirical evidence and data rather than speculation or subjective beliefs in our effort to understand the universe. Evidence-based reasoning involves evaluating and interpreting data, observations, and experiments to draw conclusions and formulate theories. It requires skepticism, critical thinking, and an ability to adapt our perspective in light of fresh information. To ensure that our understanding of the universe is founded on facts, backed by robust scientific techniques, and results in dependable and correct conclusions, evidence-based reasoning is crucial. Additionally, the concept of interdisciplinary collaboration is crucial in understanding the nature of our universe. Numerous scientific fields, such as astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, particle physics, and others are involved in the study of the universe. Scientists from various fields must work together and pool their knowledge in order to develop a complete comprehension of the universe. For example, astronomers and physicists work together to study the properties of celestial bodies, their interactions, and their impact on the universe's evolution. Cosmologists and theoretical physicists collaborate to develop models and theories that explain the origin and evolution of the universe. A deeper understanding of the nature of our cosmos is made possible through interdisciplinary collaboration, which promotes a variety of viewpoints, supports creativity, and allows scientists to address challenging problems from several perspectives. The concept of empirical observation is also essential to comprehend the universe as a whole. Our knowledge of the universe is based on observations made of the cosmos and information gathered by telescopes, detectors, and other tools. Experiments, measurements, and observations are used to gather data for empirical observation, which is then used to develop and test hypotheses. For example, telescopes are used to observe light from distant objects, providing us with information about their composition, distance, and motion. Cosmic microwave background radiation observations have supported the Big Bang theory, which describes the beginning of the universe. Empirical observation is an important tool in our quest to comprehend the universe since it enables us to collect data and verify our theories. In conclusion, the effort to comprehend the nature of our world is a noble and crucial one that propels scientific advancement, stimulates wonder and amazement, and has useful implications for humanity. We can keep expanding our understanding of the universe and unlocking its mysteries by taking a multidisciplinary approach, encouraging curiosity and open-mindedness, and applying ideas like the scientific method, evidence-based reasoning, the concept of scale, mathematical modeling, and empirical observation. As we strive to comprehend the vastness and complexity of the universe, we not only deepen our understanding of the natural world but also gain insights into our own existence as inhabitants of this vast cosmic realm. As Carl Sagan eloquently stated, "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." It is our responsibility as humans to continue our quest for knowledge, push the boundaries of our understanding, and unlock the mysteries of the universe.

I have watched a lot of movies over the years, but "The Pursuit of Happyness" has had the biggest influence on my life. This movie tells the inspiring true story of Chris Gardner, a struggling salesman who becomes homeless with his young son but never gives up on his dream of a better life. This movie has touched me deeply because it has taught me valuable lessons about resilience, determination, and the power of hope. One of the reasons why "The Pursuit of Happyness" has had such a profound impact on me is because of the relatable and realistic characters. Will Smith's depiction of Chris Gardner shows his everlasting devotion to his son in the face of what appear to be insurmountable obstacles. The love and bond between Chris and his son, portrayed by Jaden Smith, is heartwarming and has shown me the importance of family and the lengths one can go to for their loved ones. The endurance concept in the film is another element that has struck a chord with me. Chris Gardner encounters several obstacles along the way, such as financial difficulties, homelessness, and rejection, but he never loses sight of his purpose. He continues to work hard, never giving up on his dream of a better life for himself and his son. This has taught me the importance of resilience and determination in the face of adversity and has inspired me to persevere through challenges in my own life. The movie also highlighted the power of hope. Chris Gardner keeps an upbeat mindset and remains hopeful despite what seem to be impassable challenges. His unshakeable hope keeps him moving forward even in the most difficult circumstances because he never loses sight of his goal for a brighter future. This has taught me the value of keeping a positive view and holding onto optimism even when circumstances appear to be difficult since it may be a motivating factor to keep moving forward. "The Pursuit of Happyness" has not only impacted my outlook on life, but it has also influenced some of my actions and choices. The movie has raised awareness of the problem of homelessness and the difficulties experienced by those who are homeless. I've become more aware of the realities of homelessness and the importance of showing those who find themselves in such situations empathy, compassion, and social support. It has inspired me to act with more compassion and to do all I can to address social concerns, such as homelessness, in my community. In conclusion, "The Pursuit of Happyness" has left a strong mark on my life. Through its sympathetic characters, compelling ideas, and motivational plot, this moving film has taught me important truths about life and has had a profound emotional impact on me. As Chris Gardner famously said in the movie, "You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want something, go get it." This quote has become a guiding concept in my life since it perfectly captures the unrelenting tenacity, resiliency, and hope that I acquired from seeing this movie. This film has motivated me to work for a brighter future and to consistently safeguard and relentlessly pursue my goals as Chris Gardner did.

My confidence in the necessity of easily accessible, excellent addiction treatment and support services has been strengthened by this experience, which has taught me the value of compassion and nonjudgmental support for those battling addiction. Moreover, my indirect experience with drug and alcohol addiction has made me aware of the broader societal impact of addiction. I have seen firsthand how addiction can cause rifts in relationships, destroy families, and have a negative impact on entire communities. This has led me to value healthy relationships and prioritize building and maintaining strong connections with others. I've learned that addiction affects not only the person but also the well-being of families, friends, and even communities. I understand the need of developing a welcoming and inclusive workplace that promotes employee well-being and provides solutions for resolving addiction-related difficulties as a future HR professional. @normandiealise #GenWealth Scholarship
Being a young, black high school student, the idea of generational wealth has great meaning for me. It symbolizes not only financial success but also a successful and empowering legacy that may be carried on to my family's future generations. I understand the historical injustices and systemic challenges that my community has had when it comes to gaining wealth. However, I am determined to overcome these obstacles and create a pathway toward generational wealth for my family. For me, achieving generational wealth means not only achieving personal achievement but also improving my entire family and community. It involves breaking the generational cycle of financial hardship that has affected my family and laying a strong foundation for coming generations. It requires having the means to explore chances for education and employment as well as to make financial investments in companies or real estate. It also means being able to have a long-lasting impact on the community by helping others reach their financial goals and supporting charitable efforts. I aim to use a multifaceted strategy that includes education, financial literacy, investing, and entrepreneurship to create generational wealth. First and foremost, I admire education and will work hard in my classes to gain the knowledge and abilities needed for a successful job. I'll look for grants, scholarships, and other options to lower my student loan burden and lay a solid groundwork for my future finances. Secondly, I will prioritize financial literacy. I'll further educate myself about developing a budget, saving money, making investments, and establishing credit. I'll look for mentors and financial experts who can offer me helpful advice on how to efficiently manage my money. Thirdly, I want to make wise investments. In order to build an eclectic investment collection, I will get familiar with many types of investment tools like stocks, real estate, and retirement accounts. I'll also look into options for entrepreneurship and business ownership, as they can be effective methods for generating wealth. Moreover, I will work towards building a strong credit history by paying bills on time, managing credit cards responsibly, and being mindful of my credit score. A good credit score can open doors to favorable loan terms, which can be instrumental in acquiring assets such as real estate or starting a business. Lastly, I plan to pass on the knowledge and lessons learned about wealth-building to future generations of my family. I will educate my siblings, cousins, and future children about financial literacy, investing, and entrepreneurship. I will encourage them to set financial goals and provide them with the tools and resources to achieve them. In conclusion, as a young black high schooler, I am deeply committed to building generational wealth for my family and community. I'm motivated to leave a legacy of prosperity to my family that will benefit future generations by making wise financial decisions, passing on knowledge to the next generation, and relentlessly striving for success. I'm prepared to start this road toward generational riches with perseverance and determination, breaking down obstacles and building a better future for my family and my community.
    Taylor Swift ‘1989’ Fan Scholarship
As a musician, I find Taylor Swift's '1989' album to be a masterpiece of modern pop music. It's a musical excursion that captures the listener's attention from beginning to end with its contagious melodies, memorable hooks, and rich production. My favorite song on the album is "Blank Space," which stands out for its exceptional fusion of musical components and lyrical skill. "Blank Space" is a musical masterpiece that beautifully demonstrates Taylor Swift's range as an artist. The song has an intense beat that moves the rhythm along, supported by a pulsing bassline and clean, precise drumming. Synthesizers give the music a contemporary, futuristic feel while striking a perfect balance between electronic and natural components. With its catchy melody and excellent use of vocal layering to give the music a sense of depth and dimension, the pre-chorus is a lesson in songwriting. With its soaring voice and majestic quality, the chorus is a sound burst that is difficult to ignore. With its thorough attention to detail and top-notch sound quality, "Blank Space"'s production is of an outstanding level. The song's mix is expertly crafted, with each instrument and vocal part sitting perfectly in the sonic landscape. The mastering is polished, giving the song a professional and polished sheen that enhances its overall impact. The arrangement of the song is outstanding as well, with a dynamic design that holds the listener's attention throughout. Ad-libs and vocal harmonies give the music more depth and complexity, raising its level of artistry. The song "Blank Space" portrays Taylor Swift's reputation as a tabloid sensation in its lyrics in a creative and humorous way. Swift herself takes control of the story as she plays with the media's idea of her as a serial dater and flips it on its head. The song's bright and energizing music matches the humorous and lighthearted lyrics in a perfect juxtaposition that elevates "Blank Space" to the top of the album. In conclusion, "Blank Space" is a real masterpiece that brilliantly displays Taylor Swift's talent and skill as an artist. Swift's expressive vocal performance, meticulous production, and the song's flawless integration of electronic and organic components make it a musical masterpiece. I am in admiration of the song's inventive use of vocal layering since it adds depth and complexity to the music by giving it a sense of polyphony. "Blank Space" is proof that Swift can innovate in the mainstream music genre and weave a musical tapestry that is both musically appealing and thematically savvy. To quote Ludwig van Beethoven, "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life." And "Blank Space" embodies this sentiment, taking the listener on an emotional and sensory journey through its sublime soundscape.
    Lillian's & Ruby's Way Scholarship
When we turn on the news, we frequently see reports about corporations, politicians, and regular bosses going on power trips and becoming corrupt. This is the sobering reality in many regions of America. But even one person can bring about change, and I want to do that. Wherever I go with this degree, I want to stand as a pillar of ethical leadership. I am making positive changes in my community by volunteering. My main duty as a volunteer at the food bank was to assist with food packaging and distribution to individuals in need. I would help in unloading food-filled trucks, organize the food into bags, and then hand it out to those who would arrive in their cars. Although it was a demanding job, it was extremely gratifying to know that I was improving people's lives. I have developed a fresh respect for the simple things in life as a result of my experience helping at the food bank. To witness how much happiness a couple of bags of groceries could offer to someone who was having trouble making ends meet was humbling. It made me realize that often the blessings we take for granted, like having access to a steady supply of food, are the ones that mean the most to us. In terms of volunteering, I was able to make a significant contribution to my community and learned valuable lessons about the worth of giving back, the strength of interpersonal relationships, and the value of teamwork. As the civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?" In terms of leadership, Making plans to better myself in terms of my schooling, personality, and future career helps me to understand who I am. People sometimes assume that everyone's goal is to earn a degree or find employment, but all these things are only a means to an end—a means to develop and be stronger. In the future, I hope to lead somewhere where people can find their interests and achieve their goals.
    Theresa Lord Future Leader Scholarship
My name is Gian Shepard, and I was born and raised in Atlanta. My mother gave me the name Gian Shepard since that's how John is pronounced in French. My main educational goal is to major in organizational and professional communication and be successful in it because I am aware of its challenges. Creating a solid study routine is another educational goal. I have to be ready to invest a lot of time in studying because the college curriculum can be difficult. This goal can be fulfilled by designating specified periods each day for studying, going to lectures, and regularly reviewing the material. I should prioritize my academic work and prevent procrastinating. Using the materials at my disposal is another one of my educational goals. Academic advisers, writing centers, and tutoring services are just a few of the many academic resources available on college campuses. By making use of these tools, I can raise my grades, learn new things, and get ready for my future career. An obstacle I faced in my life is Anxiety. The physical symptoms of anxiety are among the most difficult parts of the condition. Many physical symptoms, such as a fast heartbeat, sweating, lightheadedness, chest pain, and trouble breathing, can be put on by anxiety. These symptoms can be upsetting and even resemble a heart attack, which can make someone believe they are about to pass away or lose control. Simple chores like leaving the house or communicating with others can seem daunting and difficult when I'm anxious. Also, it can interfere with my ability to focus, sleep, and eat, which can result in fatigue and poor physical health. The value of mindfulness is one of the most important things anxiety taught me. My thoughts can get carried away with concern and fear about upcoming situations or events when I'm feeling anxious. Anxiety, however, can also work as a trigger to practice mindfulness and be in the present. I may bring my attention back to the here and now and reduce the intensity of my nervous thoughts by concentrating on my breath, my surroundings, and my senses. In conclusion, anxiety is a challenging experience, but there are important lessons that can be learned from it. Mindfulness, self-care, resilience, seeking help and support, and vulnerability and connection are just a few of the things that anxiety can teach us. Making plans to better me in terms of my schooling, personality, and future career helps me to understand who I am. People sometimes assume that everyone's goal is to earn a degree or find employment, but all these things are only a means to an end—a means to develop and be stronger. In the future, I hope to lead somewhere where people can find their interests and achieve their goals.
    Novitas Diverse Voices Scholarship
Public relations is a powerful tool that can shape public perceptions and narratives. However, too often the voices that are heard in public relations come from a narrow demographic, one that is predominantly white, male, and privileged. This has led to a lack of representation and diversity in public relations, resulting in skewed narratives that do not reflect the realities of marginalized communities. This is where the power of diverse voices in public relations comes in. When diverse voices are represented in public relations, a range of viewpoints and experiences are brought to the table, helping to develop a more inclusive story. For instance, Dove's "Real Beauty" campaign, which challenged conventional notions of beauty and was introduced in 2004, included women of different colors, sizes, and shapes in its advertising. Because it was based on the actual experiences of women, this campaign was successful and connected with a wide range of people. The Obama administration's "It's On Us" campaign, which was introduced in 2014 to address sexual assault on college campuses, is another illustration of diverse voices in public relations. A large range of people were included in this campaign, including men, women, people of different racial and sexual orientation backgrounds, and survivors of sexual assault. The campaign was able to reach a wider audience and create a more inclusive conversation around sexual assault by integrating a variety of voices. The power of diverse voices in public relations extends beyond just campaigns and advertising. It can also have a profound impact on the policies and practices of organizations. For instance, following the death of George Floyd in 2020, some businesses made public pledges to support the Black Lives Matter movement. The public, however, reacted skeptically to these commitments and questioned whether these companies were sincere about eliminating structural racism within their firms. By including diverse voices in the decision-making process, these companies could have been more effective in creating meaningful change. In today's world, where the power of social media and the internet has enabled information to spread quickly and easily, the role of public relations has become more important than ever. Professionals in public relations must understand the value of diverse voices and try to promote them as the world becomes more interconnected. By doing this, they may develop more inclusive narratives that reflect the realities of underrepresented communities and inspire actual change. All public relations activities should be guided by inclusivity, which is more than simply a trendy term.
    Learner Math Lover Scholarship
I love math. Math is quirky, different, and exciting in its unique way. It's not just about solving equations or memorizing formulas; it's about discovering patterns and finding elegant solutions to complex problems. To me, math is like a puzzle that never gets old. Each problem presents a challenge that requires careful analysis and logical reasoning. I love the feeling of satisfaction that comes with finally solving a tough math problem, knowing that I've used my brain to its fullest potential. Math is also a subject that has endless applications in the real world. From calculating interest rates to designing complex algorithms, math is a fundamental tool in many fields. It's amazing to think that the same principles that govern the movement of planets in space can be used to optimize traffic flow in a city. But perhaps the biggest reason why I love math is that it has taught me how to think critically and approach problems from multiple perspectives. It has taught me to be patient, and persistent, and to never give up on a problem. These are skills that are invaluable not just in math, but in all aspects of life. Lastly, math is just plain cool. I mean, where else can you learn about imaginary numbers, fractals, and the Fibonacci sequence? It's like a universe of infinite possibilities, all waiting to be explored and discovered. So, yes, I love math. It may not be the most popular subject, but to me, it's a fascinating world of patterns, puzzles, and problem-solving. Who knows, maybe one day I'll use my math skills to become a world-renowned mathematician or to solve the world's biggest problems - like how to evenly distribute toppings on a pizza.
Hearts on Sleeves, Minds in College Scholarship
All humans experience difficulties and obstacles throughout their lives. These challenges can take many different forms, ranging from internal conflicts to uncontrollable environmental factors. But it's often through these challenges that we develop, learn, and comprehend ourselves and the world more fully. I have had my fair share of difficulties in life. I've had setbacks and failures, uncomfortable and self-conscious moments, and periods of extreme stress and anxiety. There were times when I felt as though the weight of the world was on my shoulders and the future was frightening and unpredictable. Yet, I have also gained important knowledge about tenacity, patience, and the value of an optimistic attitude as a result of these challenges. I've grown to understand my inner courage and power and how to view obstacles as chances for progress. One of the biggest obstacles I had to overcome was covid in my sophomore year of high school. I went through a time of burnout and mental exhaustion as a result of my struggles with a demanding course load and intense academic pressure. I found myself feeling overwhelmed and defeated, and I started to doubt my ability to pursue my targets and establish goals for myself. However, with the support of loved ones and a renewed focus on self-care and wellness, I was able to overcome this difficult period and emerge stronger and more resilient than before. I learned to prioritize both my physical and emotional well-being, to set reasonable expectations and goals, and to request help if needed. I developed a fresh understanding of the value of perseverance and resiliency in the face of difficulty as a result of this experience. I came to understand that although obstacles and disappointments are a normal part of life, they do not define us or put a ceiling on what we can achieve. I am eager to continue following my interests and making progress toward my objectives in the future, even though I am aware that there will be difficulties and setbacks. I also have a renewed feeling of fortitude, tenacity, and self-care that I know will support me in overcoming any challenges that come my way. In conclusion, although overcoming obstacles and challenges in life can be difficult, doing so helps us develop, learn, and have a better awareness of both ourselves and the world around us. Reflecting on my past difficulties, I now understand that challenges are opportunities for growth and self-improvement. As I move forward, I am determined to approach life with a positive mindset, a focus on self-care, and a commitment to achieving my goals and making a positive impact on the world.
    Climate Conservation Scholarship
As we navigate the challenges of climate change and environmental degradation, it is clear that our daily choices have a significant impact on the health and well-being of our planet. Our consumption of goods, our usage of energy, and our production of garbage are all factors in the intricate web of environmental problems we now face. It is therefore essential that we take responsibility for our actions and strive to live sustainably each day, making conscious choices that support a healthier and more sustainable future for all. It takes a fundamental change in our priorities and values to live sustainably. It involves abandoning a culture of materialism and embracing a culture of sustainability, in which the well-being of our world is valued above convenience and instant pleasure. Consuming goods and products is one way we make daily decisions that influence the environment. Our consumption of goods—from the food we consume to the clothes we wear—has a big influence on the environment. For instance, a significant portion of greenhouse gas emissions is caused by the production of meat and dairy products while the fast fashion business is a significant source of waste and pollution. We can minimize our impact on the environment and contribute to a more sustainable future by choosing to use goods that are ethically sourced and sustainably manufactured. Our energy use is another way that our daily decisions have an environmental impact. We must switch to renewable energy sources as soon as possible because the burning of fossil fuels for energy is a key contributor to global warming. We may reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future by making small adjustments in our daily lives, including turning off the lights when we leave a room, using the bus or train instead of driving and buying energy-efficient appliances. In order to live sustainably, we must also pay attention to the waste we create. Our overconsumption of single-use plastics is a key cause of the alarming rate at which landfills are filling up. We can limit the amount of waste we make and help create a more sustainable future by using fewer single-use plastics, recycling, composting, and buying things with very little packaging. In my personal life, I make conscious choices about the things I use and the energy I use to live sustainably every day. I try to bike or use the bus whenever I can and I also consciously choose things with the least amount of packaging and recycle and compost to minimize my trash. Living sustainably can be difficult, especially in a world that places a high value on ease and consumption. But we must take ownership of our actions and work to live in a manner that encourages a more sustainable future for everyone. We can all help to create a planet that is healthier and more sustainable by making thoughtful decisions every day and taking tiny efforts in that direction.
    Barbara Cain Literary Scholarship
As a lover of books, I have always found inspiration and knowledge within their pages. Whether it be works of fiction or non-fiction, each book has the power to teach us something valuable about ourselves and the world around us. However, some books leave a profound impact on our lives, shaping our goals and aspirations in ways we never thought possible. For me, one of those books is "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. "The Alchemist" is a book that tells the story of a young shepherd boy named Santiago who embarks on a journey to fulfill his dreams. Santiago faces numerous challenges along the way and gathers important lessons about overcoming challenges, discovering yourself, and the power of the universe. It was a life-changing experience for me to read this book because it made me realize how crucial it is to pursue my goals, no matter how difficult they may appear at the time. The book also helped me understand the value of resiliency and persistence in the face of difficulties. It served as a helpful reminder that failure is a necessary step on the road to success and that it is crucial to draw lessons from these encounters rather than let them demotivate you. The universe's strength and the part it plays in assisting us in achieving our objectives is another important lesson I took away from "The Alchemist." I was reminded by the book that we are all interconnected and that, if we dare to pursue our aspirations, the universe will work with us to make our dreams come true. I'm motivated to work toward my own goals as a result of this lesson, and I have confidence that the universe will give me the tools and opportunities I need to be successful. Ultimately, "The Alchemist" is a novel that has had a significant impact on my life and has inspired the ambitions and goals I have for myself. Its lessons in tenacity, courage, and faith in the strength of the universe have armed me with the skills I need to approach obstacles with a growth attitude, have faith in my own skills, and take action to realize my aspirations. I'm appreciative of the things I've learned from this book, and I'm determined to use those things to change the world. As Coelho writes in "The Alchemist," "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." This quote is a strong reminder that the universe will provide us with the tools we need to achieve if we dare to follow our goals.
    Our Destiny Our Future Scholarship
I am aware of the great privilege and duty that come with living on this earth. We can influence future events every day, not just for ourselves but also for others who will follow. Remembering that every one of us has the power to make a difference is crucial in a world that regularly appears chaotic and unclear. Volunteering is one of the most effective methods to accomplish this. We can have a far-reaching ripple effect of kindness and change by devoting our time and efforts to issues that are important to us. I was blessed with a mother who taught me the value of helping others as I was growing up. She showed me that volunteering offered the chance to build empathy, compassion, and a sense of purpose in addition to being a method of supporting others. I have volunteered for several causes over the years, from helping to build homes for low-income people to working in a soup kitchen. Every experience has given me new skills and information and enhanced my personal development. I'm dedicated to doing whatever I can to change the world for the better. Volunteering is one of the most significant ways that I can accomplish this. Through volunteering, individuals have the chance to meet new people, make a difference and advance both personally and professionally. It enables me to use my abilities to benefit others and better society. Additionally, volunteering has a ripple effect that can extend far beyond the individuals we help. When we volunteer, we inspire others to do the same. We create a culture of giving and kindness that can have a profound impact on our communities and the world. By volunteering, we become part of something bigger than ourselves and can make a lasting difference. So, how do I plan to use volunteering to have a beneficial impact on the world? First and foremost, I want to keep volunteering for causes that are dear to my heart, such as social justice, education, and environmental conservation. I think that by doing this, I can contribute to addressing some of the most important problems now plaguing our society. I also want to inspire other people to volunteer and support their communities. I want to use my platform to link people with volunteer opportunities and to spread awareness about the value of volunteering, whether it be through social media or events. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." Through volunteering, we get the chance to meet new people, develop as people, and have a positive influence on the world. In addition to improving the globe for present and future generations, it is a means to give back to the communities that have given us so much.  I am dedicated to changing the world through volunteer work, and I hope that my example will encourage others to follow suit. In the end, what matters is our willingness to show up and make a difference, one person and one moment at a time, rather than the size of the influence we have.

There once was a man from Peru, Who had a pet kangaroo. They hopped around, And never touched the ground, They were quite the oddball crew. One day they hopped into a bar, And ordered drinks from afar. The bartender looked shocked, As they hopped and they rocked, But he served them with a nod and a star. The kangaroo drank some beer, While the man had a martini, clear. They talked and they laughed, And the patrons gawked and chaffed, As they watched the odd pair, oh so near. Then the man said, "Let's show 'em some moves, And hop to some funky grooves." So they danced and they bounced, And the crowd was astounded, By the man and his kangaroo, in the mood. They danced till the night was through, And the patrons cheered and wooed. Then the man and his roo, Bid the bar adieu, And hopped off into the night, anew. The moral of this tale, my friend, Is that anything can happen in the end. So take a chance and hop along, And who knows what you'll find, so strong. Maybe a kangaroo or two, to befriend!

I had my heart set on attending a prominent university. I'd been a good student my entire academic life, and I'd worked hard to keep up my good scores. Yet, I was heartbroken when the university of my dreams sent me a rejection letter. I had worked incredibly hard on my application and had big plans for the future. At first, I was angry and frustrated. I couldn't understand why I had been rejected; I felt like a failure and I doubted my abilities. However, as time went on, I realized that this setback was an opportunity to learn and grow. I had to take some time to consider my ambitions after being turned down by my dream university. I was aware of my goal to enroll in a prestigious university and that, to increase my chances of admission, I would need to strengthen my application. I then began looking for chances to strengthen my weaknesses. At school, I joined clubs and groups that shared my passions and interests. In the interest of showing off my leadership abilities, I also looked for leadership roles within volunteering organizations. I also focused on honing my essay-writing skills. I reviewed some of the successful applicants' sample essays and asked my teachers and guidance counselors for their opinions. I worked on my essay-writing techniques and practiced until I was comfortable with them. I noticed a change in my attitude over time. I changed from being disappointed and dejected to being inspired and driven. I began to feel more assured in myself and my talents because I knew that my perseverance and dedication will eventually pay off. I was more prepared and assured than ever when it came time to reapply to institutions. I had put a lot of effort into strengthening my areas of weakness, and it showed in my application. I was still anxious about the result, but I knew I had given it everything. I was delighted to find out that I had been accepted into another one of my dream universities. I was overjoyed and appreciative for the chance, and I knew that my diligence and dedication had contributed directly to it. I am appreciative of the setback I experienced when I think back on this experience. It gave me valuable insights on resilience, persistence, and the value of self-reflection. I discovered that failures and setbacks can be opportunities for development. Success, I've found, involves more than simply academic ability; it also involves creating a well-rounded personality that encompasses leadership, communication, and community service abilities. In conclusion, challenges and failures can be disheartening, but they can also serve as drivers of growth and success. It's vital to draw lessons from these interactions, consider our advantages and disadvantages, and seek to improve our abilities. With this attitude, we can conquer any challenge and accomplish our goals.

Leadership is a word that carries with it an almost mystical power. We often think of great leaders as those who can inspire and motivate us to achieve our full potential, but what exactly does it mean to be a leader? Is it only a matter of controlling and influencing others, or is there anything else at play? I believe that being a leader involves much more than just exercising power. It involves motivating others, establishing a vision for the future, and putting forth great effort to bring about that goal. I'll explore what leadership means to me in this essay and why it's so important in both our personal and professional life. Leadership is crucial in both our personal and professional lives. Leadership is essential for making things happen, whether you're managing a team at work or simply attempting to have a positive impact on your community. Effective leaders may inspire others to work toward their vision by effectively communicating it to them. They can help in creating an environment where people feel valued and supported as well as a strong team culture. Without strong leadership, teams may lose focus and motivation, which could prevent them from making progress and ultimately result in failure. Malala Yousafzai is one of the most motivating leaders I've ever seen. Pakistani activist Malala is well-known for her support of girls' education. When she was 11 years old, she first came to the attention of the world when she wrote a blog article about her life under Taliban control, which prohibited girls from attending school. Malala continued speaking out despite the danger to her life; as a result, the Taliban targeted her and shot her in the head. She miraculously made it through, and since then, she has become a strong advocate for women's rights and education all across the world. Malala's steady dedication to her goals despite overwhelming obstacles is what I admire most about her. She is a true leader because she inspires others to join her cause and work towards a better future. Millions of people have been greatly impacted by her leadership, and she is still an inspiration to young people all around the world. In conclusion, leadership is not just a set of skills or traits that can be learned or acquired, but rather a complex combination of character, experience, and vision. Great leaders can inspire people to join them in achieving a common objective, can create a sense of belonging and purpose, and can lead their teams through challenging situations and difficulties. True leaders lead with empathy, courage, and a strong sense of purpose, as we have seen in the case of Malala Yousafzai. Even when the odds were against her, she was willing to take chances, speak the truth to authority, and defend her principles. In the end, being a leader is more than just a skill or ability; it's a calling, a duty, and an honor.

The things that give us life, enable us to delve into the depths of our imagination and creativity, and motivate us to be the best versions of ourselves are our passions. For me, my passions are music and writing, and they have been instrumental in helping me cope with my anxiety and depression. Music has always played a big role in my life and has helped me feel at ease and comforted me when things got tough. The act of engaging with music, whether it be through listening to my favorite songs or composing my own music, has a therapeutic effect on me. I can digest my feelings, communicate my emotions, and calm the restlessness in my head by listening to music. I remember the first time I wrote a song. I was going through a tough time in my life, and I didn't know how to express my emotions. I had always loved music, but I had never written a song before. However, something inside me urged me to try. I grabbed a pen and paper and started writing down the thoughts and feelings that were swirling around inside me. Before I knew it, I had written my first song. In a similar vein, writing has helped me much in overcoming my anxiety and depression. I can express my ideas and emotions through writing, give them language, and try to make sense of them. The act of writing, whether in a journal, poetry, or book, allows me to process my feelings, think back on my experiences, and develop a deeper sense of self-awareness and understanding. I also convey my creativity and imagination through writing. Writing stories or poetry allows me to escape from my worries and enter a world of my own design when I'm feeling anxious or unhappy. I can be anyone I want to be in this world, and I can explore many viewpoints and experiences. It's not always simple to deal with anxiety and depression, though, and there are moments when I find it difficult to control my sensations. When this occurs, I use a range of coping mechanisms, such as being mindful, working out, and asking for help from friends and family. Also, I've discovered that therapy has been essential in assisting me in creating coping mechanisms and techniques that work for me. My career aspiration is to work as an HR manager because I believe it will allow me to use my interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills to benefit others. In this position, I want to foster an inclusive and encouraging workplace that respects diversity, equity, and inclusion. Creating policies and practices that encourage mental well-being and offer assistance to those in need is something I am enthusiastic about. In the end, my interests in writing and music have not only given me a way to deal with my anxiety and depression, but they have also motivated me to seek a profession that would enable me to have a positive influence on other people's lives. I am eager to follow this path, and I look forward to applying my interests and abilities to build a more compassionate world.

Millions of people and communities throughout the United States are impacted by the recurring problem of gun violence. Whether through direct or indirect experiences, the impact of gun violence is far-reaching and long-lasting. As someone who has personally been affected by gun violence, I am committed to bringing awareness to this issue and using my career to create positive change in our society. I was raised in an area where there was a lot of gun violence, and I frequently heard gunshots at night. I once witnessed a bunch of kids with weapons in a park while I was biking home from school, and the fear and anxiety I experienced at that time has stayed with me ever since. Later in life, a close friend of mine was killed unexpectedly as a result of gun violence. My life has been profoundly affected by this tragedy, and I am determined to do everything in my ability to stop others from going through the same suffering and loss. As I go to college to pursue a career in organizational and professional communications, I plan to use my skills and knowledge to raise awareness about gun violence and advocate for change. One way that I plan to do this is by working with organizations that are dedicated to reducing gun violence and promoting responsible gun ownership. By partnering with these organizations, I hope to create awareness campaigns that educate individuals about the dangers of gun violence and the importance of gun safety. I am involved in several extracurricular activities that allow me to contribute to my community in addition to my future professional practice. I participate in an esports organization that supports humanitarian organizations in my community and encourages students to engage constructively. I would like to utilize this club to spread the word about gun violence and inspire people to take action to stop it. As the senior class officer, I also have the chance to interact with my classmates and spread knowledge about gun violence Last but not least, I participate in a tech club that creates plays with a social justice theme. We want to encourage others to take action by bringing critical issues, including gun violence, to light through these performances. We aim to improve our community and the world by using the power of storytelling to spread knowledge and encourage change. All in all, gun violence is a complex and extensive problem that has an impact on everyone. I'm dedicated to raising awareness of this issue through my own experiences and extracurricular activities and using my career to bring about positive change in our society. Through collaborating with others and applying my skills, I wish to motivate people to take initiative and improve their own communities.

The field of organizational and professional communications is vital in determining how we communicate at work. Communication skills are crucial for success in any career, from effectively conveying ideas to managing disagreements and forming close bonds. Strong communication skills that allow people to navigate different cultures, opinions, and experiences are more crucial than ever as the globe grows more diverse and linked. African American trailblazers who helped pave the way for advancement and change in the workplace have had a significant impact on the field of organizational and professional communications. Mary McLeod Bethune, a pioneering teacher and civil rights activist who devoted her life to advancing education and equal rights for African Americans, is one of the most well-known figures in this field. Mary McLeod Bethune was born in 1875 in Mayesville, South Carolina, to parents who were former slaves. Bethune was driven to finish her education despite the obstacles she experienced due to her upbringing in poverty and attendance at segregated schools. She attended Scotia Seminary in North Carolina before attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago to further her education. Over her life, Bethune's work as a leader in the civil rights movement and a teacher grew in importance. She was a major member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and she advised President Franklin D. Roosevelt. She also started the National Council of Black Women, a group that fought to advance racial equality and women's rights. Bethune’s influence in the field of organizational and professional communications is seen in her emphasis on the importance of education and leadership development. She firmly believed that education was the key to success and that African Americans needed to possess the knowledge and abilities required to be successful in the job. Bethune's work as an educator assisted in developing a generation of African American leaders who later made substantial contributions to their communities and fields of interest. Bethune's leadership style also demonstrates her dedication to encouraging inclusiveness and diversity in the workplace. She was dedicated to creating an inclusive workplace where people from many backgrounds could succeed. Her emphasis on professional development, mentorship, and empowerment was indicative of her leadership style. In conclusion, Mary McLeod Bethune’s contributions to the field of organizational and professional communications cannot be overstated. She paved the path for African Americans to excel in the workforce and supported diversity and inclusion via her work as an educator and civil rights leader. Her focus on leadership development and education continues to motivate people today and is an example of the strength of tenacity and willpower in the midst of adversity.

I've been involved in volunteer work for as long as I can remember. It has given me the chance to significantly improve my community and has taught me valuable lessons about the value of helping others and the strength of human connection. But I've never had an experience like volunteering at a food bank during a pandemic. Millions of individuals found themselves trying to make ends meet as the virus ravaged the globe. Food insecurity grew into a significant problem, and many families were compelled to seek assistance from food banks. I consequently felt driven to play my part and make a significant contribution to my area. Through my experience volunteering at the food bank, I was able to witness firsthand the profound impact that a single act of kindness can have on someone's life. One of the most memorable experiences I had at the food bank was when I was distributing food to a family who had lost their jobs due to the pandemic. The mother of the family was in tears as she told me how grateful she was for the food. She said, "I never thought I would be in a position like this. Thank you for being here to help us." This experience hit home for me and made me realize just how important it is to support those in need, especially during difficult times. The value of community was something else I took away from my time at the food bank. Seeing individuals from all walks of life come together to support one another was incredibly motivating. There were volunteers of all ages and walks of life working together, and it was obvious that everyone was there to help those who were in need. The writer, Helen Keller once said, "Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much." This sentiment was true at the food bank, and it served as a reminder to me that we are all connected and have a duty to look out for one another. As the poet, Maya Angelou once said, "I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver." In conclusion, I can truthfully say that my time spent volunteering at the food bank during the pandemic was a truly life-changing event. I was able to make a significant contribution to my community and learned valuable lessons about the worth of giving back the strength of interpersonal relationships, and the value of teamwork. As the civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" I was able to respond to that question in a significant and useful way thanks to my experience volunteering.

The phrase typically credited to Mahatma Gandhi, "Be the change you want to see in the world," has always struck a chord with me. My personal core beliefs serve as the foundation for all I do, including my efforts in civic engagement, academic pursuits, and interpersonal relationships. These principles define who I am and what I stand for, and they direct my decisions so that they are aligned with my beliefs. Integrity is at the heart of my essential values. Honesty, according to American author and public speaker Denis Waitley, is the foundation of all achievement. Being sincere, open, and genuine to oneself is what I understand by integrity. It involves taking accountability for one's actions and standing up for what is right, even when it's challenging. I try to be a person of integrity in my civic engagement work by standing up for what is right and pushing for change. I strive to give credit where credit is due and avoid plagiarism in my academic work. I value open communication and trust in my relationships. Another core value of mine is empathy. American novelist and social critic, James Baldwin, once said, "You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive." Empathy is the ability to place oneself in another person's situation and view the world from their viewpoint. It involves speaking with an open mind and heart while also acknowledging the thoughts and feelings of others. I try to be empathetic in my civic engagement efforts by seeking to understand the struggles and difficulties of underprivileged communities. I make an effort in my academic work to examine issues from several angles and not dismiss viewpoints that differ from mine. I strive to be a kind, caring, and supportive friend in all of my relationships. Lifelong learning, in my opinion, means a constant search for knowledge and improvement on both a personal and professional level. It requires being receptive to fresh viewpoints and willing to confront yourself. I make an effort to keep up with current affairs and learn about the background and context of issues when I work in civic participation. I participate in extracurricular activities and go to events outside of my comfort zone to broaden my knowledge during my academic studies. I appreciate gaining knowledge from other people's experiences and insights into my relationships. The honesty, empathy, and lifelong learning that make up my core values are crucial to me because they help me define who I am and direct my decision-making in a way that is consistent with my beliefs. They assist me in becoming a better friend, student, and citizen. As American writer and civil rights activist, Audre Lorde, once said, "When we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it is better to speak." My basic beliefs push me to do just that: to stand up for what I believe in, to show compassion for others, and to never stop learning and developing.

Does the cliché "everyone has a story to share" ever crossed your mind? Yes, I think that's accurate. Each of our journeys has contributed to the person we are now. I do, after all, possess some common traits, but others make me unique. Maybe it's my love of discovery and adventure, my enthusiasm for writing, or my commitment to changing the world. Whatever it may be, I am confident that I can contribute something unique to my community as well as to myself. I was always curious and in awe of the world when I was growing up. I was the child who enjoyed learning new things and exploring the uncharted. I've carried this sense of adventure with me throughout my life, and I've had the good fortune to visit some amazing locations and interact with other cultures. These encounters have transformed my viewpoint and given me new eyes to view the world. I've come to understand the value of diversity and am appreciative of the chances that have helped me broaden my horizons. In addition to my love of adventures, I've always been drawn to creative writing. I enjoy putting words on paper, whether I'm creating a gripping narrative or a challenging essay. I can convey myself through writing in a way that is both unique and relatable, and I intend to continue perfecting this ability throughout my life. Perhaps, I think that my drive to support my community is what sets me apart the most. I am devoted to doing my part because I sincerely think that it is up to us all to change the world for the better. I want to give back in many different ways, including by giving my time, supporting community organizations, and standing up for the causes I support. I'm determined to change the world, whether it's through my work with youth organizations, advocacy for environmental sustainability, or pursuit of social justice. The potential that lies ahead excites me. I'm aware that there will be obstacles and failures along the path, but I have faith in my ability to persevere through them. And I'm appreciative of the qualities that make me special, such as my love of discovery and adventure as well as my ardor for creative writing and social justice. I wouldn't want it any other way because these characteristics are what make me who I am. In conclusion, I think that we all have something unique to contribute. It's up to us to embrace our individuality, find ways to give back to our communities and appreciate the journey that has brought us to where we are today. And I'm excited to see where my journey takes me next, and how I can continue to make a positive impact in the world.

The ivory keys, they call to me, Their melodies, so sweet and free, The piano's voice, a symphony, That stirs my soul, with ecstasy. The sound of music fills the air, Each note a whisper, each chord a prayer, The piano's voice, a dream we share, A gift of beauty, beyond compare. With fingers poised, I touch the keys, And let the music flow and breeze, A gentle hum, a soothing ease, That carries me, where'er it please. Each note, a world unto its own, A story told, a feeling shown, A language all its own, That speaks to hearts, minds, and bones. And as the music fills the air, The world around, it fades to bare, For in that moment, nothing's there, But me, the piano, and the sound we share. The keys beneath my fingers dance, A rhythm, born of circumstance, A melody that takes a chance, And leads me into a wondrous trance. And in this trance, I find a way, To let my heart and soul convey, The emotions that I cannot say, But that the piano helps me play. For in the piano's gentle sound, A world of feelings can be found, A place where beauty does abound, And love and joy, they can be found. So let the music guide your way, And let the piano have its say, For in their embrace, you'll find a way, To live your life, each and every day.

The deep sense of satisfaction that comes from assisting those in need has always pulled me to volunteer work and disaster relief. My parents taught me as a child the value of contributing to our community and changing the world for the better. As a result, I have participated in a variety of community service projects throughout my life, such as volunteering at local food banks, taking part in beach cleanup efforts, and helping with relief efforts after natural disasters. Hurricane Katrina was among the most important incidents that influenced my interest in disaster assistance. When the hurricane hit the Gulf Coast in 2005, my family was living in Louisiana. Although most of them were fortunate enough to escape the worst of the storm's impact, many of our friends and neighbors were not so lucky. The devastation and loss of life that we witnessed firsthand left a deep impression on me and inspired me to become more involved in disaster relief efforts. Since then, I have volunteered with various organizations to provide disaster relief to communities affected by natural disasters, including hurricanes, floods, and wildfires. I have participated in clean-up efforts, provided aid to those in need, and worked with local organizations to rebuild and revitalize affected communities. I intend to keep working on disaster relief efforts in the future by getting more active with local groups and taking part in training courses to hone my skills. Disaster relief, in my opinion, should aim to improve community readiness and resilience so that it can better resist future disasters in addition to meeting current needs. I, therefore, plan to focus on community outreach and education, helping to inform people and communities about disaster preparedness and mitigation measures. Additionally, I plan to pursue a career in the field of Organizational and professional communications with a tie to emergency management, to work for government agencies or non-profit organizations involved in disaster relief and recovery efforts. I believe that this career path will allow me to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and communities affected by disasters, as well as contribute to broader efforts to build more resilient and sustainable communities. In conclusion, my experiences with Hurricane Katrina and my passion for community service and disaster relief have shaped my life and career goals. Through my volunteer work and future career, I plan to continue to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities affected by disasters, while also contributing to broader efforts to build a more sustainable and resilient world.

Finding safe and inexpensive housing is a problem that many people experience, especially in urban areas where housing costs can be unreasonably high. Multiple cities struggle with the issues of homelessness and poor housing, which can have negative impacts on both people and society. The creation of quick-and-easy-to-assemble modular housing units that can offer families and people safe and comfortable living places is one possible answer to this issue. With features like water-saving plumbing fixtures, solar power systems, and energy-efficient lighting and heating systems, these modular homes would be created with sustainability and the environment in mind. The flexibility and adaptability of modular housing are its primary advantages. Rapid deployment in locations with a strong demand for cheap housing is made possible by the ease with which modular units may be transported and put together. To design and prototype the modular housing units, thorough research and development would be the initial step. Working with architects, engineers, and designers would be necessary to create a plan that utilizes the most recent developments in sustainable design and building methods. Setting up a manufacturing plant to mass produce the modular units would come when the design is complete. To maintain high standards of quality and safety and maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness, the production process would need to be streamlined. Areas with a high need for inexpensive housing would need to receive modular units. We would also have to take into account that there would need to be little interruption to the neighborhood throughout the installation procedure. To keep the units secure and effective after installation, continual support and maintenance are required. This would include conducting regular checks and repairs as well as providing aid to locals who might require help with issues like healthcare, job training, or financial management. There would be a huge financial investment required to make this plan a reality. This could come from a number of places, like government grants, business investments, or charitable contributions. The challenge would be to create a viable business plan that would support the mass production and distribution of modular housing units while maintaining their affordability for those who most need them. In conclusion, the creation of inexpensive, sustainable, and modular housing units has the ability to dramatically change the lives of those who are experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Making this concept a reality would need a lot of resources, but the potential rewards are huge for both people and communities as a whole. This ground-breaking innovation could contribute to a more promising future for all if it receives the right funding and support.

Jaeda DeWalt once said, "A child's innocence is the one gift that, once stolen, can never be replaced." As a kid, I remember having the naïve idea that I would sell tons of candies and become a billionaire. That version of me had a simple mind and a vivid imagination. This is the sobering reality in many regions of America. But even one person can bring about change, and I want to do that. Wherever I go with this degree, I want to stand as a pillar of ethical leadership. College is worth it because you can network and connect with alumni through college. A straightforward interaction with a professor or student could be the beginning of building a professional network. It might be all you need to do to land the position of your dreams. According to the article “The Importance of Networking in College” by thehavenatcollege.com, by volunteering, joining a fraternity or sorority, joining a club that aligns with your job objectives, or even participating on a sports team, you can boost your chances of meeting the "perfect" person. These specific forms of networking are exclusively available in college. Secondly, attending college will look fantastic to high-paying employers. According to statistics, college graduates are more likely than high school graduates to find stable employment and get higher pay. Workers with a bachelor's degree "had median weekly wages of $1,305 in 2020, compared with $781 for workers with a high school certificate," according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. A degree demonstrates to colleges that you invested four years in mastering your trade. In contrast to people who merely have a high school diploma, it will typically look better.

One night in July, my mom went to the store to pick up groceries. I was playing my rap playlist, getting ready for a nice hot shower to ease my feelings of anxiety. I got into the shower, and immediately my left arm went numb. I could not feel anything on that arm. I ignored it at first, but it soon extended to my legs and feet, and I lost feeling in my entire left side. My speech was becoming slurred. It felt like a stroke. I called my mom and said, "I think I'm having a stroke." She had a frantic tone in her voice, and she said, "OK, I'm on my way back." I got into the bed; I began to shake, and I still could not feel anything on my left side. My mother got home, and she immediately came and checked it out. When she got home, I started regaining feeling on my left side. I told her that that was the scariest experience of my life. She said, "OK, I don't know what happened, but if it happens again, we're going to go to the hospital." I've concluded over the years that if my mother doesn't know what is going on, I know something's gone wrong. The next day, it happened again. When I got into the car to go to the hospital, I was Shivering, had cold sweats, and felt like I was having a heart attack. When we got there, the doctors took me to the back immediately. They checked my pulse, and the doctor had an awkward look on his face. He said that my pulse was slightly higher than normal. So, he gave me some medicine through an IV, and I felt much better right away. He began asking me a series of questions regarding my mental and physical health. He determined that I had an anxiety disorder. He said that "anxiety attacks mimic heart attacks, and they feel and look like heart attacks, but they aren't heart attacks." After he told me this, he prescribed medication. The medication did not work. I was about to start my tenth-grade year online, and I was going through the biggest mental health crisis of my life. This continued throughout the year 2020. My mother and my mentor have helped me on this journey. When this happened, my mom took off work for a week to nurture me and to make sure that I was fine. My mentor was the additional help. He provided me with coping mechanisms and advice on how to handle this. I'm thankful that I have people supporting me even if the path is ongoing and occasionally challenging. I've learned not to dismiss anxiety as an overreaction or an attempt to get attention because the last thing anyone with anxiety wants to do is draw attention to themselves. Instead, think of anxiety as a maze that we can't quite figure out how to get out of, but are getting nearby.

Peter Drucker once said, "Leadership is lifting a person's vision to high sights, the raising of a person's performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations." The characteristic I value most about myself is that I am a leader. I spent a year and a half at Chick-fil-A and was promoted to a trainer position in just eight months. As a trainer, I taught employees how to create milkshakes, take orders, and navigate the menu. At this time, it dawned on me that I enjoy showing others how to accomplish new things. I've worked with the top team members, and some have advanced beyond me to higher positions. Helping people achieve more is inspiring. I also have led by being a senior class officer. Since taking office, our senior class has accomplished twice as much as previous senior classes in just seven months. We produced a senior ran concert for the community and organized and hosted a few enjoyable school events, including dances. We also managed to organize a major senior trip for April. I successfully won my senior officer election and brought about a change in my school. Being a leader will be very beneficial for me in life. A competent leader may inspire his or her team to cooperate in reaching a common goal by bringing out the best qualities in each of them. I will be majoring in Organizational and Professional Communication at Kennesaw State University. I'll be able to create and instruct training packs with this degree. In addition, my career goal is to work in human resources and other leadership and conflict-resolution roles. I will be minoring in finance to further aid me in becoming a successful leader. This is the perfect path for me. There are a lot of dishonest leaders, but I want to change that statistic rather than add to it. When we turn on the news, we frequently see reports about corporations, politicians, and regular bosses going on power trips and becoming corrupt. This is the sobering reality in many regions of America. But even one person can bring about change, and I want to do that. Wherever I go with this degree, I want to be a pillar of ethical leadership.

My name is Gian Shepard. I am from Atlanta, Georgia and I attend a school of the arts. There, I major in piano pedagogy, and I have a strong affinity for both leadership and music. In this essay, I'll describe how I came to learn that I had an anxiety disorder. This ride will be exciting, so buckle up and bring snacks. It was one night in July and my mom went to the store to pick up groceries. I was playing my rap playlist, getting ready for a nice hot shower to ease my feelings of anxiety. I got into the shower and immediately my left arm went numb. I could not feel anything on that arm. I ignored it at first, but it soon extended to my legs and feet, and I lost feeling in my entire left side. My speech was becoming slurred. It felt like a stroke is described. I called my mom and said, “I think I’m having a stroke.” She had a frantic tone in her voice, and she said, “OK I’m on my way back.” I got into the bed; I began to shake, and I still could not feel anything on my left side. Nicki Minaj was playing in the background, so I felt a sense of comfort in her music. My mother got home, and she immediately came and checked it out. By the time she got home, I started regaining feeling on my left side. I told her that that was the scariest experience of my life. She said, “OK, I don’t know what happened, but if it happens again, we’re going to go to the hospital.” I’ve concluded over the years that if my mother doesn’t know what is going on, I know something’s gone wrong. The next day, it happened again. When I got into the car to go to the hospital, I was Shivering, had cold sweats, and I felt like I’m having a heart attack. When we got there, the doctors took me to the back immediately. They checked my pulse, and the doctor had an awkward look on his face. He said that my pulse was slightly higher than normal. The medication did not work. I was about to start my tenth-grade year online, and I was going through the biggest mental health crisis of my life. This continued throughout the year 2020. It's a daily effort to live with anxiety. It can be triggered by the tiniest of events. It's like when you get up in the middle of the night to grab something to eat and your dog detects you walking, and they jump up. You can't even tiptoe around nervousness at times. Even when it feels like your life is crashing down around you, it's something you must learn to cope with. I advise people not to dismiss anxiety as an overreaction or an attempt to get attention because the last thing anyone with anxiety wants to do is draw attention to themselves. Instead, think of anxiety as a maze that we can't quite figure out how to get out of, but are getting nearby.

It was an ordinary day. I had traveled to Louisiana via plane with my mother. I received no explanation from my mother as to why we left Atlanta so abruptly. My mother starts sobbing as we are traveling to a location. My cousin, who was seated next to me, explained to me what had happened by saying that grandma had passed away. I was young, but I already understood that this would have a lasting impact on me. Before I ever started pre-K, my grandma was the one who taught me my ABCs and my 123s. She is also responsible for teaching me my first few Bible verses. Despite the little time I spent with her, she had a profound influence on my life. I became very focused on my study and my pursuit of Christianity as a result of this loss. My grandmother taught elementary school for 30+ years and was very active in her church. Every time I earn a good grade or go to church, I continually wonder what she would say to me. Her passing inspires me to aim for excellence in whatever I do. Greatness is within my reach; all I have to do is strive for it.

Making a difference makes a difference. I've always appreciated doing charitable things for other people. I have volunteered since I was a child. My church had canned food drives every other Saturday and I started packing food for the drives every other Saturday for 2 years. We continued to donate until we were the number one food bank in the entire state of Georgia. Unquestionably, we had an influence, and it was all done in the spirit of service. A few years ago, I started volunteering at my county’s food bank. Food was running scarce at the start of the pandemic, and my county knew we could help. We collaborated with a business that provided us with non-perishable and perishable goods for the less fortunate. We opened a drive-thru bank in June of 2020, and there were lengthy crowds. Each of our four locations, which were in various Clayton County schools, saw a large number of daily visitors. We were able to feed over 16,000 individuals in a year, which is roughly the number of seats at Madison Square Garden. More recently, I was elected senior class public relations officer. My first idea was to start a mentorship program: Juniors and seniors would mentor sophomores and freshmen. I discussed it with the other officers, and together we put the strategy into action. We started giving them knowledge for later in their high school career. It has been a success thus far; underclassmen regularly come to the officers and express their gratitude for the initiative. That is how I knew we had a positive impact. Additionally, as the senior class officer, I helped raise money for a nearby homeless shelter by holding fundraisers. We just held a homecoming dance, and we donated 40% of the proceeds to help the less fortunate. My career goal after college is human resources manager. With this position, I want to challenge the way leaders currently operate. Today's society is full of corrupt and unfair leaders. I want to alter that perception. I also want to support the black community as a leader. There are many people who exemplify this, but I would like to add to that number. Overall, I have made a difference in people’s lives with acts of service. Impacting a few hundred people can impact thousands more than hundreds of thousands. A single act of kindness can have a profound impact on numerous others.
