From a young age, I have been captivated by the power and precision of military aircraft. It was witnessing a captivating F-22 Raptor demonstration at an airshow that sparked my passion to become a fighter pilot in the Air Force. This dream has been the driving force behind my academic and extracurricular pursuits throughout high school. In addition to excelling academically, I have actively participated in activities such as AFJROTC and football, where I have honed my leadership skills, discipline, and teamwork. Beyond my personal ambitions, I am committed to making a difference in my community. These experiences have taught me the importance of compassion, empathy, and inclusivity, values that I intend to carry with me throughout my career in the armed forces. One of the pivotal moments in my journey will be attending the AFJROTC Flight Academy, where I will have the opportunity to earn my private pilot's license. This will not only enhance my aviation skills but also provide me with a solid foundation for my future endeavors. Armed with the knowledge and experience gained from this program, I will be better equipped to serve my country and make a positive impact in the world. Looking beyond my time in the Air Force, I envision myself transitioning to a career as a commercial airline pilot. By doing so, I will continue to contribute to society by facilitating travel, connecting people, and promoting global understanding and cooperation. As I enter my senior year of high school, my commitment to my goals remains steadfast. I have been accepted into Howard University, a historically Black college and university (HBCU), where I will study Computer Science.
