Hello! My name is Evelyn Alvarez. I am a college senior interested in a career in wildlife biology. I graduated valedictorian in Mexico, and, since I was a child, I have been fascinated with animals and have wanted a career related to them. In 2019, I started volunteering at my local zoo and watched "Our Planet", the Netflix documentary that made me realize the great importance of conservationists and inspired me to become one. My dream is to one day save habitats and therefore species from extinction. Nature gives us all the resources we need to live, and I want to be part of that change that our planet needs. In my free time, I like to read or practice piano/electric guitar.
