Hello! My name is Esther and I am a bold and determined first-generation, low-income student with a passion for Law, Ethnic studies, and Gender Studies. I am a current college sophmore that is currently enrolled at Valencia College. As a young immigrant Haitian-American, I am driven to make a positive impact in my community and break down barriers for those who share similar experiences.
From a young age, I was fascinated by the power of policy and how it shapes and improves the world we live in. My immigrant background has taught me the importance of perseverance and resilience, and I have dedicated myself to achieving my lifelong goal of becoming a successful undergraduate and graduate student.
I am a strong leader who is not afraid to speak out and use my voice to make a difference. I am proud of my cultural roots and the rich heritage that comes with it, and I am committed to using my education to give back to my community. I am inspired by the compassion and dedication of my parents and the Haitian community, and I am determined to make them proud by fulfilling my potential and making a lasting impact in the world as an Medical Malpractice Attorney that actively advocates for the rights of mothers of color in healthcare.
I am excited to take on new challenges and opportunities, and I am confident that my drive, passion, and leadership skills will help me achieve my goals and make a positive impact on those around me. I am excited to set sail on my college journey and would love for you to join me toward a better future for all!
