      "Wise Words" Scholarship
There are many wise words to choose from in this world, neither more important than the other. But to me the one that stuck with me the most where the words that came from my 11th grade, AP Chemistry teacher. "Life is tough darling, but so are you” -Stephanie Bennet- Henry. This is my daily mantra, because many days for me consist of obstacles mentally & physically draining that make me want to give up. I become so consumed with this idea that stopping is an option that it is never going to be worth it in the long run. But I never could have been more wrong, I never realized before hearing these words that I am not in this alone. I think of this quote, of it being spoken to everyone and that makes me feel a part something. Specifically, a community that felt like giving up at some point but realized that nothing good ever comes easy. That what these words say to me is, that the even in toughest times the days you don't feel like stepping out into the world. Are the days you definitely need to overcome. For the toughest days are the ones that make you stronger. No matter how difficult something may seem, you yourself are equally as tough and overcoming of anything.
