Positive, determined, and motivated dual credit student at Bryan Adams High School. Part of the p-tech program in the early childhood pathway where I am working towards graduating with an associate's degree. Eager to learn about career opportunities, especially health-related ones. Willing to contribute to a team setting and collaborate with others to bring out the best in those around me. Working towards spiritual, personal, and educational growth and development.
I love to solve mathematical problems. This is because they give me the confidence to solve real human life problems. I'm also passionate about singing. I wish I could help and make everyone happy, but I can't. Though, I look forward to becoming a registered nurse by earning a bachelor's degree of science in nursing. I would also take psychology as a minor. This is because I want to change the mental health of young lives today. If everyone's mind were healthy, the world would be a more comfortable place to live in. Inner joy and desired peace would be found by also trusting in God.
I am a born leader who is empathetic, collaborative, and hardworking. I manage my time, have a great work ethic, and think critically & creatively.
I want to benefit all.

As a child, I missed my father because of cancer six years ago. The misfortune abandoned me demolished and excitedly exhausted. Adjusting to history outside my father was a challenge as he performed an essential duty in our offspring's prosperity. Managing difficult influential people around me was tough during this period. Grief may be incapacitating, but I raise solace in pursuing support from companions, classification appendages, and pros the ones who assisted me to guide me along the route, often over water through the mourning process.
Another barrier was dealing with study alongside handling heartbreak; still, despite miscellaneous disappointments to a degree lessening grades inappropriate afterward welcome dying that managed me into the academic trial but I declined to abandon as I trust entirety takes place for a reason, therefore, created inevitable adaptations that aided me recuperate quickly academically even more forceful. By defeating the situation that reached the tumor, self-thought enhanced the main way to determine fundamental changes within myself concerning insane substance incidents. My pain has decreased through regular religious practices and psychological exercises. Being capable to overcome private hurdles cued me into the act of changing complicated inner society by engaging in generosity occurrences proposed to lifting the budget for tumor victims' prosperity programs & growing knowledge about athletic living among communities in different fields.
My future aims to contain out for a course as an oncologist to specify cases accompanying superior first-contact medical care all the while their malignancy journey. I aim to help remove tumors through research and novelty, lowering mortalities induced by this ailment while experiencing common people on athletic behavior selections that can block most forms of malignancy. I am determined to improve my healing strength to achieve my goals successfully. Upon finishing my studies, I expect touching institutions to prepare toward advancing healthful behaviors and providing support for things stirred by malignancy. I am dedicated to increasing awareness about early cancer detection by organizing community events and supporting similar initiatives with a common goal. Adversity may be stopped if began definitely; it is not continually smooth but pursuing help from desired one or experts when necessary helps create the burden feel easier. Overcoming situations has instructed me on elasticity and conclusion, it is able I accomplish existence is value persistent even in occasions when the entirety appears grim nevertheless by what method hard the position commits look or be like an individual can still create a helpful impact inside the association. My occurrences have stimulated me even more knowledgeable dedicating myself to course possible choices to overcome situations they concede possibility face as long as providing absolute towards the association's tumor.
In challenging times, it is essential to take the initiative and provide helpful suggestions to those in positions of authority to improve the situation. We must not let bureaucracy defeat us. My call to action is for everyone to cultivate helpful habits that enable them to confront difficulties with optimism. Let's keep moving forward with determination, knowing that every small success has the power to encourage and make a significant difference. Elevate Mental Health Awareness Scholarship
Mental health is an essential component of overall well-being. It can impact every aspect
of one's life, including beliefs, relationships, and career aspirations. My personal experience with
mental health has shaped my perspective on these areas in various ways. From challenges and
struggles to coping mechanisms and stigma surrounding mental illnesses, this essay aims to
explore how my experience with mental health has influenced my beliefs, relationships, and
career aspirations.
Firstly, sharing my personal experience with mental health is crucial for understanding
how it impacted me personally. As someone who has struggled with anxiety throughout most of
my life, I have faced many challenges due to the condition. Anxiety made it difficult for me to
socialize at times or express myself properly. This led me to believe that something was
fundamentally wrong with me as a person. However, therapy sessions and self-help tools
like meditation or exercise routines tailored towards reducing stress levels among others helped
me understand that there is nothing inherently wrong with feeling anxious.
Secondly, one's experiences dealing with mental illness can significantly influence their
beliefs about themselves and the world around them. Through therapy sessions over time, I've
learned not only that having anxiety doesn't define who I am but also that everyone struggles in
some way or another; therefore we should all approach each other from a place of empathy rather
than judgment - people do not deserve negative treatment because they suffer from an invisible
the disease just like any other physical ailment disease.
Thirdly, Mental illnesses are notorious for affecting one’s ability to foster healthy
relationships be it romantic partners, family members, colleagues etc. In my case anxiety initially
impaired my relationship-building efforts because I would often avoid social interaction
altogether instead of putting myself out there which limited opportunities for forming new
connections. However, after facing some adversities, I started slowly but progressively
integrating more social activities into my routine such as joining clubs/communities where I
could find people who share similar interests, and ultimately this allowed me to form healthy
bonds with others.
Fourthly, career aspirations may be affected by one's experience with mental health. In
my case, the experience made me more interested in fields that allowed for flexibility, such as
freelance writing or working remotely. This gave me a sense of control and helped to alleviate
some of the anxiety associated with a rigid work schedule. However, there are challenges
associated with these career paths as well, like finding enough clients or adapting to different
environments; therefore, it is important to consider if this path aligns with one's interests and
skills.
Additionally, Coping mechanisms are crucial for managing symptoms related to mental
illness. I found techniques like deep breathing exercises, mindfulness meditation, and
self-help activities such as journaling were profoundly helpful throughout my journey toward better
mental health. It is important to acknowledge that coping mechanisms should not replace
professional help but rather complement it.
Moreover, the stigma surrounding Mental Health issues can hinder people from seeking out
appropriate care, giving rise to feelings of shame or guilt when talking about their
experiences. Some people may even face forms of discrimination due to their
conditions. However, paramount importance must be given to reducing stigma through education
on various mental illnesses, normalizing conversations around them and offering resources for
those looking for assistance.
In conclusion, the significance of understanding one's own experiences dealing with
Mental Health cannot be overstated. It affects not only oneself but also those surrounding us;
therefore it’s our responsibility toward ourselves and our community to ensure we take action
towards betterment. In cases where immediate help is required, professional
guidance should always come first before any self-help strategies are sought out.
Bright Lights Scholarship
As a high school student, I have several plans for my future that require financial support. Firstly, I intend to pursue a Master's degree in my field of study. This is because I want to acquire advanced knowledge and skills that would enable me to compete effectively and excel in my chosen career. I plan to become a registered nurse, so, I am pursuing a Nursing Major. I would earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. However, going back to school comes with a lot of expenses such as tuition fees, accommodation, textbooks, and other study materials. Therefore, a scholarship would go a long way in alleviating some of these financial burdens and enable me to achieve my educational goals.
Secondly, I believe in the power of giving back to society. After completing my education, I would love to establish a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering young women in my community. The organization would provide scholarships to girls from low-income families, mentorship programs, and life skills training. This would help bridge the gender gap and reduce poverty levels in my community. However, starting a non-profit organization requires a significant amount of capital. Therefore, a scholarship would enable me to achieve this dream and positively impact the lives of young women.
Thirdly, I have a passion for entrepreneurship. I aspire to be a successful entrepreneur and own a company that provides innovative solutions to societal problems. However, starting a business requires substantial capital to initiate and run operations. A scholarship would enable me to learn business principles, entrepreneurship skills and network with experts in the field. This would increase my chances of success and help me create employment, contribute to the economy, and alleviate poverty.
Lastly, a scholarship would provide me with the resources needed to participate in co-curricular activities that would supplement my academic activities. These activities include research conferences, seminars, and exchange programs. Participating in such activities would enhance my interpersonal and leadership skills, broaden my knowledge and foster a global perspective. Additionally, these activities would increase my chances of getting job opportunities and help me contribute positively to society.
In conclusion, my future plans involve pursuing further education, empowering young women, entrepreneurship, and co-curricular activities, all of which require significant financial support. A scholarship would help ease the financial burden and enable me to achieve my goals. I am committed to utilizing the resources to make a positive impact in my community, contribute to the economy, and create a better future for myself and others.
American Dream Scholarship
The American Dream is a concept that has been debated for decades, with interpretations varying widely across individuals and societies. In my view, the American Dream is the idea that everyone, regardless of their social status, has the right to achieve success and prosperity through hard work, determination, and initiative. It is the idea that every American should have equal opportunities to succeed and achieve financial stability, regardless of their background.
The American Dream should be a reality where anyone can live a prosperous life with their family, receive an excellent education, and work in a job that they enjoy and that offers job growth opportunities. It is a concept based on liberty, opportunity, and equality. This dream is the backbone of American society, driven by hard work to take control of one's destiny and try to achieve a better life for oneself and one's loved ones.
However, as a high school student, I recognize that the American Dream is not as quickly fulfilled as I once thought. Many people face economic and social barriers that limit their ability to attain the American dream. There is no such thing as a level playing field, with structural inequality and discrimination still prevalent in modern-day society.
Furthermore, the American Dream is not just about personal success, but one that also encompasses the collective good of society. It is about being able to be a part of a supportive community, mindful of the needs of others, and working collaboratively towards shared goals. In this view, the dream embodies both self-reliance and social responsibility, emphasizing that individual success should contribute to the broader social good of the community.
Moreover, this dream can be achieved in different ways and through varying means to different people. While for some, the American Dream may solely entail financial success, for others, it might mean making significant contributions to society, being able to travel the world, or achieving a form of spiritual fulfillment. It is unique, personal, and can be viewed through different multitudes of experiences.
In conclusion, the American Dream is a multidimensional concept, encompassing more than personal economic achievement. It describes the idea of a society where everyone should have equal opportunities to succeed, liberty, and social responsibility. With its contribution to concepts such as freedom, hard work, and social mobility, the American Dream still holds a special place in American society today. However, it must be acknowledged that achieving the dream often requires overcoming significant social, economic, and cultural challenges.
