Hi, my name is Emmanuel but you can call me Manny!
Ever since I was young, I have always been curious and intrigued by the things I didn't fully understand so I've always spent years mastering my craft and educating myself on a wide range of topics from social injustice to space terraforming concepts. When it comes to my career, I don't think of a singular thing that encompasses my work. I think of many different fields of work (some more unconventional than others) that I'm passionate about and as unrealistic as it seems to some, I don't plan on narrowing it down.
Traveling around the world as an environmental scientist, I want to be the mediator between big corporations and regular people to create sustainable technology that is not only economically profitable but culturally acceptable by all.
I would like to be an artist that creates music that is representative of all the facets of myself and how humans are multidimensional beings that are complex and complicated. Ultimately, become a vessel for others with their own stories as well and help people (including myself) become better versions of themselves through this shared love and interest in music artistry.
A business-savvy entrepreneur that operates several successful businesses in different fields such as the culinary arts, space technology, etc. that actively promotes the idea of giving back through charities.
Thank you @bold for giving me and others not only the opportunity to introduce ourselves in a broader, more detailed sense but to also help us financially in terms of our academics!

It was out of necessity. It was because of the way I needed to express myself behind closed doors when I felt as if nobody understood my pain and struggle. That in itself is why I started songwriting.
When it comes to the way that I write a song, I take what I had learned from my past mistakes and the adversity I faced as a Hispanic LGBTQ+ person growing up and let that be the driving force to why I create music in the first place. Even when I write a song in a perspective that isn't mine, I try to intertwine my life, thoughts, philosophies, etc. into it to represent this universal nature of stories and how their meanings can be interchangeable and overall interpreted in so many ways.
As I continue my life, that inspiration tends to change and evolve as I grow into a more mature and well-balanced human being. Now, I have this intention in mind when I write music that these stories I tell will be reflective of those changes in me (for better or worse) as a personal diary entry to where my mind was at, at a certain time period. I also like to think my music would act as a reminder to others that life is a learning process (and can be a creative one at that.) That I'll take whatever life throws at me and create fruits of my own labor for everyone to taste, enjoy, and hopefully utilize into their own lives as I have strived to become a better person.
Whether that be professionally producing my songs in a studio, finalizing the lyrics to a song off an upcoming album, or coming up with new melodies and harmonies for a certain mix, I want to have that artistic freedom to create music with songs that hold so much value to me as a human being/artist. The way in which I can make that dream come to fruition is to be secured financially as I attempt to pursue both of my degrees (one in environmental science, the other in musical production) while I focus more time on fine-tuning my musical craft and have it be of quality.
