I am a dedicated individual driven by a profound passion and duty for advancing humanity's presence in space. With interests in aerospace engineering and business, I will push forwards frontiers of unity and exploration with advancements in asteroid mining and creation of lunar settlements. Alongside these ambitious projects, I believe it is my civic duty to give back to society and support future generations. They are the forces that have brought me to where I am now. While Earth will always be humanity's home, I believe that we are destined to aim for the stars, and nothing less.

As a child, I watched my parents always struggle to make ends meet, juggling bills and rent while skipping their own meals to put food on the table for us. Money was always tight, and I grew up constantly asking when I could start working to help ease their burden. My parent's worries and financial stress only became worse when my own medical conditions begun to worsen, there was not a single day where I would see them rest and that broke my heart. Now, as a lower-income student, I've come to understand the importance of financial education and its essential role for the development of a healthy household. I've learned to budget and save diligently, instead of using my free time going to movies and going on shopping sprees I would rather spend my time learning the monetary systems that govern our society in an attempt to secure myself in financial security. I don't just want to break the cycle of poverty and create opportunities for myself, rather I want to become the leading figure for my siblings and help them carve a path towards financial freedom. For me, understanding finances isn't just about managing money effectively; it's about gaining control over one's own destiny.
Despite the challenges me and my family faced with an undetermined destiny, the weight of uncertainty, and nights spent worrying if we had enough money to last a month, my parents instilled in me the value of hard work and reliance. Thus as I grew older, I made a promise to myself that I would learn as much as I could about managing money and building a stable financial future, and now as I pursue a higher education, I am committed to fulfilling that promise. I am no longer simply satisfied with a life of minimal or moderate understanding of finance, I am determined to arm myself with the knowledge that will fuel my desire to excel academically and professionally. I understand that the road ahead will not be easy, but I strongly refuse to let circumstances define my future. The future I envision, the future I will make happen, is one of financial freedom with no worries over making ends meet, having children wonder when they can start working, or having parents skip meals just to feed their children. With each step forward, I carry the lessons of my past. No longer am I an incapable child who can only worry; rather, I am now a man who can reach out and take his destiny into his own hands.
