Hi! I’m Eiad, a senior at Wakefield High School. I am an Egyptian-American Muslim with a passion for community service, athletics, and academics. Upon graduating high school, I plan on pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology to eventually work in pharmaceuticals.
One of my greatest passions is community service. I am part of many clubs centered around impacting the community, including the National Honor Society and Beta Club. I am also a founding board member and director of Cleanup 919, a volunteer organization that revolves around allowing students to clean our environment and reduce environmental footprints. Through these groups and many others, I have spent over 250 hours serving my community.
Academics drives many of my endeavors. On top of my high school courses, I am a dual-enrollment student at Wake Tech Community College, where I have completed ten credit hours that I can transfer to a four-year institution. While the credits I’ve earned will help with my collegiate experience, the program has helped develop my time management and organization skills while also improving my soft skills as I interact with various peers daily.
Earning scholarships would allow me to pursue my collegiate and professional dreams affordably, granting me opportunities that will significantly impact my character and development as a professional. Moving those around me has always been a moral I’ve valued, and all funds I earn would motivate my efforts to do just that. These scholarship funds would help me build upon the skills I possess, allowing me to influence those around me.
