Aspiring physician. Evolving human. Practicing optimist.
Exposure to family members' miscarriages seeded my desire to be a physician. Seeing their losses influence my wish to help bring healthy pregnancies to full term, and be there for those parents who may be so misfortunate as my eldest sister who recently lost a twin.
My resilience allows rebound. My compassion will gain the patient's and family's trust. My adaptability promotes interaction with all kinds of people. Those are my most vital characteristics, and I believe all physicians need a bit of each to properly care for others.
As a future physician, I desire to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in pregnancy-related deaths and reduce delayed or misdiagnoses that pose clinical challenges to birthing persons. Another intent I possess works to normalize talking about reproductive organs and sexual health at all ages.
I am a student doctor who will graduate in 2025.

I attached a photo of my very first publication; a review article which, as the title suggests, addresses the role stem cells play in ovarian cancer. This feat is one of the more exciting accomplishments made during my graduate career! My interest in the subject is derived from my present desire to serve as an obstetrician and gynecologist after I finish medical school in 2025.
