Hello! My name is Destiny, I'm a passionate and dedicated graphic design student who will be transferring to UNT this fall. From a young age, I have nurtured a deep passion for utilizing my artistic skills and boundless creativity. Over the years, I have honed my abilities and expanded my portfolio by crafting visually stunning designs that captivate viewers and evoke powerful emotions. From creating logos for family friends to exploring new horizons, my journey as a graphic designer has been fueled by an unwavering commitment to excellence. With each project, I strive to push the boundaries of my creativity, and I am excited to continue this growth as I embark on my transfer to UNT.
As a Black individual entering the world of graphic design, I want to bring a fresh perspective and a determination to contribute to the ever-evolving digital landscape. My ultimate goal is to collaborate with big streaming companies like Netflix and Hulu, where I can channel my creative energy into crafting captivating designs that engage and inspire audiences.

Design is the language of innovation and expression. It's a powerful tool that bridges the gap between ideas and tangible experiences. From an early age, I was filled with an innate enthusiasm for creative expression. Even though I may not have fully grasped its significance back then, my drive to express myself artistically never wavered. As a young Black individual who grew up with limited representation, I firmly believe that representation matters because everyone deserves to be seen and celebrated. I use design as an outlet for my interest and as a form of escape. A career in design would be truly transformational for me. It would allow me to channel my boundless creativity into creating meaningful and impactful visuals that resonate with people on a deep level. Design is not just about making things look visually appealing; it's about solving problems, eliciting emotions, and shaping the way we perceive the world. It empowers me to make a positive impact, communicate ideas effectively, and inspire change. A career in design would provide me with the platform to constantly evolve, learn, and collaborate with other talented professionals, pushing me to explore new territories and challenge the status quo. It would enable me to merge my passion with purpose, crafting designs that not only captivate but also provoke meaningful conversations and inspire others. Design, to me, is more than a profession—it's a lifelong journey of growth, creativity, and making a difference.
