My names Danielle and I am a 17 year old senior at Lakeville North High School. I have been apart of the varsity cross country and track & field teams since 8th grade and have been a captain for 2 years for each sport. I have won the Team Spirit award twice in cross country, Best Work Ethic twice in track as well as Rookie of the Year in track. I am also apart of Youth in Government and Model United Nations. This past YIG conference in January helped sparked my interest in politics and finally decided on a major, political science with perhaps a double major in something else but I have no decided yet. I might double major because I took PSEO classes my junior and senior year and am hoping they transfer into college credit. I do not know what college I would like to go to next year however I do know I would like to run track so I'm still deciding on my options currently. I would also like to go to law school which can be very expensive. Some more facts about me are that I am an only child and live with just my mom and 2 dogs. My dad is out of the picture. Some hobbies of mine are working out, thrifting, hanging out with friends, and I have been trying to get into reading more! I am also looking to do some study abroad during college particularly in Spanish speaking countries because I have found a love in learning Spanish during high school and plan on minoring in it! In my future I would also like to travel to other countries to explore the world and see new cultures!
