I was born and raised in the country of Venezuela, when I arrived in the United States I always had to try twice as much as other people around me could, always keeping in mind that I could not give up my career and goals and that I had to work very hard because it was never an option to give up the things that I love the most. From a very young age, my mother instilled in me effort and dedication. These values are the basis of my day-to-day to achieve my goals both in the short and long term. The field of medicine has always been the most interesting and passionate field for me, and I am very convinced that my values and my passion for this wonderful career will make me go very far. Currently, I work at Trident Medical Center as a Patient care technician, working during a global pandemic, it has only reaffirmed that I belong in the hospital corridors helping people to regain their health. I want to go further with my career and not only help adults but also children, therefore my next goal is to be an intensive care nurse in neonatology.
