Communities of color where mental health care should be essentially valued are instead disregarded in favoring those with greater income. Where communities of color who struggle to meet the basic needs are now being subjected to less as they are unable to afford mental health care support. In a country where there are prejudiced and biased opinions towards communities of color, the availability of mental health care facilities would be a safe haven where concerning issues are expressed freely. The ideal society of mental health care for communities of color includes free access to mental health care support, more job opportunities in mental health careers, decreasing the social stigma of mental health care. A society where access to mental health care is a necessity for communities of color can potentially decrease crime rates, and violence activities by providing optimal support and care in dealing with issues one faces either internal or external.
For that reason, affirmative actions are implemented starting from eliminating barriers of mental health care should be the main focus shift of focus from who can afford to be widely accessible despite financial background. Mental health care in African American communities ought to be encouraging communities of color to actively seek help. By addressing social issues and concerns with mental health care in communities of color are less likely to seek optimal mental health care support. As it is gravely frowned upon either in ideological, religious beliefs or from social stigma about mental health care viewed as a psychological illness if one seeks help. For that reason, a community would be created to unite people and individuals will share their experiences dealing with mental health creating a safe netted society.
Despite proven results, there are financial barriers in accessing mental health by increasing the job outlook for mental health care professionals will substantially increase access to support. In addition, decreasing the cost of mental health care access is a must factor towards implementing change in communities of color. individuals can deal with issues concerning race such as discrimination, inequality, and daily issues with a professional. Therefore creating an environment of safety where views and concerns can be expressed with a well-evaluated mental health professional such as a therapist. As hate crimes progress in the United States and elsewhere creating an environment where people of color's psychological needs are evaluated would be beneficial.
Taking in the factor of social injustice such as systematic racism establishes unequal educational opportunities due to factors such as wealth disparities, racism, which are often issued people of color face daily. My vision of a society for Communities of color will demolish systemic racism, and provide more educational advocacy to pursue careers despite their life circumstances. Due to the reason social mobility hindering African Americans from moving up ranks/classes. A society that deeply prefers certain races makes achieving the American dream impossible due to the wage gap between race and gender.
Advocating for social changes will improve conditions for communities of color by bringing awareness towards certain injustices. A community that comes together in advocating for changes in the idea of peaceful protest will progressively result in law binding changes. In relation to advocating mental health displaying upsides of maintaining a positive mindset and mental state to encourage lower-income communities to actively seek help. To conclude, in an ideal society where mental health support is accessible despite financial status, and educational pursuits are highly encouraged for communities of color for the sole purpose of better lives in achieving the American dream.

Learning English as a second language has been an absurd necessity in my stay in the United States. without being bound to an interpreter or the feared feeling of a message being misinterpreted, learning English sought to be a requirement. To mingle freely with people and peers without limitations or the feeling of uneasiness. The required knowledge and understanding of English have also helped me explore new possibilities in the U.S, by providing opportunities for expansion as an individual in my educational pursuit. I often made new friends and enjoyed various cultures within the U.S its events, and holidays gave me a sense of belonging in my stay. Despite learning English giving me advances in the U.S, it has also rendered me the feeling of a lost cultural identity. Where the fear of being westernized and lacking connection to my cultural heritage became a profound feeling during pursuing educational opportunities.
The forced placement of immigrants in ESL programs in school helped me tremendously to reach the educational standard of my peers. Although there were negatives such as being constantly bullied for my imperfect grammar and my African accent despite the odds against me academically I overcame the difficulties. Furthermore, I began to achieve numerous academic rewards in school whereas I didn't previously. As a sophomore accumulating a 3.67 GPA being able to sustain academically challenging classes in the support of hard work and dedication. All these have shaped my experience in the United States both positively and negatively. Music played a role in getting me through difficult situations such as panic attacks during school presentations, calming me down in the feeling of neutralization. Through times of struggles with weight loss, music was like A companion in whom I could confide in soothes my soul through motivational music. Where through sad times music was a way to escape reality being in an alternate world somehow music got me through all either in tough times or in my worship of the Lord drew me closer to him.
My dreams for the future lies either in becoming a doctor or an immigration lawyer who provides instructional care and support towards immigrants, in their goal of hard work and determination to better their lives and their families. With this little knowledge, I accumulated from learning English as a second language in school. I was able to help my immigrant family with filing applications, for instance, insurance benefits, jobs, etc. Due to the instructional support I received and provided to my immigrant family, I plan to create a foundation where immigrants could acquire aid and guidance in their stay in the United States. A program to teach immigrants about the way to go about in the United States such as the benefits they could receive, how to apply for health care benefits, and how to be financially stable and obtain a good income job by providing guidance and aid. Lastly, create an accepting environment by encouraging interaction with people from diverse backgrounds in the program.
