Throughout high school, I have taken a total of 11 AP tests and classes: (AP Psychology, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP World History, AP US History, AP Biology, AP Language and Composition, AP Literature, AP Spanish and Culture), three of which I took outside of independently and received all A’s, being AP Spanish, AP Microeconomics, and AP Psychology. I have been in honors Math and English classes since freshman year, and then AP in my senior year. Last summer, I participated in NYU Stern’s Future Business Leaders program, engaging firsthand with industry professionals in finance, marketing, and accounting, studying business skills and learning about career trends. In completing museum visits, projects and research papers in SMHS’ Honors Humanities class in partnership with the Huntington, I gained critical insights into multidisciplinary learning necessary for our increasingly complex world.
In tandem, my roles as Robotics team Business President, president of SMHS’s Busines Professionals of America chapter, varsity debater, and Mock Trial journalist, have led me to compete in Worldwide, National and state tournaments, developing my communication and analytical skills. Additionally, in being Senior Class President and volunteering for HMS’s orchestra program as a coach, I have actively sought to build community and foster inspiration despite one’s age level. Lastly, in preparing asset divisions and assisting with business inquiries in an internship at a Yang Law Offices, I have not only enhanced my legal and business acumen, but connected with female mentors who continue to inspire me today.
