Bio

After graduation, I hope to focus my time and energy into building a strong art portfolio and become a freelance artist. I mostly enjoy designing characters and I know this would transfer well to the freelance world where I can bring other's characters and ideas to life as well as my own. I'd also like to use my artwork as an opportunity to travel and meet other artists through conventions and shows.

There are quite a few sources of happiness in my life at the moment. A couple of my favorite activities include painting, drawing digitally, and playing video games. When I draw or paint, I enter a bizarre state where time does not exist anymore. I am not able to think about any of the stressors in my life because I am so focused on my current piece. At that point, I feel very at peace. It is not until I finish working that I realize just how happy it makes me. Especially if I have made great progress or created something I really enjoy. Video games are similar in that I do not have to worry about anything going on around me. And I feel a lot of happiness after completing a goal or quest I have been working on for a long time. Lastly, my pets are a great source of happiness for me. Even when they are being naughty, I can’t help but not feel happy around them. They are truly my best friends, and they give me a reason to keep working hard even when life gets difficult. I recognize that even though they need me, I need them just as much. Even as I type this out, my two-year-old tabby cat named Squid is purring away on my lap, trying to distract me from the computer with his cuteness.
