Bio

Casey's a proud Jersey girl who's passionate about helping the next generation of journalists move into their professional careers. Casey has spent roughly a decade working for news organizations, including philly.com, Newsday and the New York Post. She recently transitioned into her dream role as the interim student media adviser for The Ithacan, Ithaca College's student-run newspaper, where she cut her teeth as a sports editor, among other things. Casey has been called a "great girl" by sports radio legend Mike Francesa. A bartender once said she had the "voice of an angel" after she performed Whitney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" to a crowd of about three. Casey's real dream is to open a baseball-themed bar called Casey at the Bat next door to an ice cream shop called Casey at the Vat, marrying her two great loves: baseball and ice cream.
