I am a dedicated college student with goals of earning a career in graphic design. I love to read and write and it is has been one of my most important goals to become a published author one day of book series focused on teens and young adults. Much of my time is dedicated to volunteering at my church and using my experience to further enhance my skills so that they may be applied to my future career.

Many people believe that media such as books or movies are limited to a simple form of entertainment meant to bring temporary pleasure, but the stories they contain have so much depth that is too often overlooked. The cycle of everyday life can easily become bleak and routine but stories are a precious leisure that can allow someone to escape reality and see a brand new world in a shimmering new light.
As a devout Christian and an avid reader my entire life, I would often look for new ideas or new stories that could hold my attention and draw my investment while also aligning with my Christian values. However, I am seeing that it is becoming increasingly rare to find something that can fit within that description. I have always loved the thrill and exhilaration of adventure novels yet I love the themes and lessons found within the Bible that I have learned to apply in my own life.
Nearly six years ago, I fully realized the disappointing absence of inspiring, Biblical stories that can appeal to young and older audiences alike and I made the choice that I would build that bridge between the two seemingly separate platforms. I believe that it is a sad injustice that young Christian readers are so limited in their choices of what to read because of the perversion and immorality that fill the pages of countless books within our libraries and bookstores.
Something I have learned these past few years is that neither teaching nor learning must be limited to a classroom or a seminar or a campus, but lessons are everywhere. Every time a teenager or a young adult picks up a book and begins to read, the words inside are given automatic access to influence their mind. For someone who really does care about what is allowed that access, they should not feel forced to be limited to stories that do not align with their moral values but they should find the same relief of escapism in something that will not hinder them or hurt them. This is the reason I have chosen to write Christian fiction stories. I myself have felt painfully limited in what I can choose to relax my mind during the long, lonely days and have met many more who have felt the same. I believe there is a demand for clean, fun, entertaining stories for young teens and adults that can be both enjoyable and beneficial to their Christian lifestyle and it is my hope and my goal to provide that for readers all over the world.
