Hello! I am a Social Worker with a heart for service and a passion for social justice. My career spans over 8 years dedicating my life to advocating for the rights of families. In pursuit of my MSW, I also work full-time as a supervisor with DCYF in Washington. My school program is part-time so I’ can accommodate working a full-time schedule to meet finance needs. I have amassed a wealth of experience, with knowledge in policies, legislation, and social justice. Growing up, I lived half of my life in CA and in WV. I moved to Seattle about 6 years ago, hoping for more opportunities to make an impact in the social work field. From a young age, my life experiences developed a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities. My awareness kindled my passion for social justice and led me to pursue my career. Through the years, I’ve been instrumental in shaping policies that prioritize the best interest of children and their parents and extended family. If coworkers and friends described me, they’d say I’m known for my tireless advocacy for rights, particularly those in disadvantaged situations. My passion for advocacy and removing barriers has positively impacted the lives of hundreds. I am more than just a social worker; I am a beacon of hope. My dedication to social justice, child welfare, and policy reform has not only bettered the lives of those I directly serve but also helped shape a more inclusive, just, and empathic society. My commitment to this work and unwavering advocacy for those in need truly sets me apart.
