Have you ever had one thing in your life that means everything to you and makes you lose track of time? Art is my outlet and my one true passion. It calms me and gives me a sense of pride when I allow my imagination to run wild. Graphic Design is a wonderful way for me to express and showcase my talent to the world. I love learning more and more about it. I get lost in the process of making and thinking up new works of art. It comes naturally to me to create and shape my imagination into beauty. My fascination with technology and website design ties into this, which makes me an amazing candidate for the Art and Design field. I know that with Graphic Design, I will continue to effortlessly make vibrant, functional, attractive designs that draw in people’s eyes and inspire others.
My personal career goal is to attend Kennesaw State University. I was accepted into their College of Art and Design for the Fall 2024 semester. I am super excited about that. After I earn my Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Communications, I will get my certificate in User Experience Design (UX Design). I have always felt most drawn to UX design. Undoubtedly, it is a stable and fulfilling career to have long-term. This job incorporates creative expression with technology. That lead me to discover my dream job! I will be continuously challenged in my graphic design degree and will create my portfolio along the way. With these abilities, my goal is to showcase my originality to obtain my UX design certification. Just like with everyone’s journey, there will be bumps along the way, but I am prepared to overcome them and strive for greatness.
I have made these goals for myself because I have the artistic talent and ability to produce amazing designs that will make an impact on the world. Nothing brings me more joy than being able to expand my artistic gift. Technology is more prevalent now than ever before. It’s important that we are able to keep creating technology with a rejuvenating freshness. I know that we as a society, must keep integrating an aesthetically pleasing blueprint into our websites and preserve the vibrancy of website design. That is why I know that I will be a marvelous art professional. I know how to close the gap between functional and thriving designs. Working with other like-minded artists will be so inspiring to me. I look forward to working on projects and inventing fresh new ideas. I love seeing people's reactions to quality artwork. I know this career is surely the best field for me to make these visions and dreams come true.
Elevate Women in Technology Scholarship
The VR headset is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary and impactful creations since the iPhone. The VR headset expands the wonders of the world. The headset is put on over your head and is activated to show you an artificial world that feels so real. As technology possibilities expand and develop, these digital wonders can be developed into higher resolution so that it is almost impossible to tell the difference between this digital universe and the real world.
It is so important that we keep enhancing the life and prosperity of the VR headset. This headset can grant many outlets to the world around us, the world within our minds, and the world handcrafted from our own creation. The benefits are endless.
One of the amazing ways that VR can impact the world is by offering closeness when the social aspects of life have been put on hold. Many of our special needs loved ones and children have not been offered a fair start to their world. They have not been able to find ways to express themselves and communicate with new people. The VR headset creates an environment around them (to their own comfort) that enables them to test out and enhance their communication skills with others. There are no limitations when it comes to a virtual world. They can practice with AI bots for communication and social skills and eventually move into sophisticated conversations with real people all around the world.
We also must never forget the power that VR headsets bring when it comes to world exploration. During the time of quarantine, when we could not travel, the headset could capture the view of many of the sites that we long to see. It is not always accessible for many of us to take long trips around the world, but we can view it through a realistic map on our headsets. For example, the ocean can be truly explored or you can go to a different country and be fully immersed in its culture. The headset can bring forth and create extraordinary experiences. There is boundless creative ability and power within the open confines of technology.

Bold Optimist Scholarship
I have struggled to stay optimistic for many years, but I have learned to let go of control, live in the present moment and only focus on what can be changed at that moment. I have applied this many times in my life when situations got rough. Releasing my need to control things has impacted my life by making it less disappointing whenever a plan goes left and allowing me to keep moving forward after the downfall. It taught me how to use my past as a push to be better instead of a reason to falter.
Bold Relaxation Scholarship
Before I started learning how to cool down and soothe my mind, I was going through a very dark time. When I discovered my natural knack for drawing, I figured out how to channel all of my deep emotions unto a blank canvas of my choosing. Drawing has been deeply healing for years now and I can settle down completely through the gentle strokes of a pencil.
Music is also my lifeline. I found songs that resonate with my heart, and I am constantly exploring the music world for more creations waiting to be found. The sound of a chill, smooth song combined with rain sounds helps me so much. I can close my eyes and truly be present in the world around me. Whenever I combine music and drawing, I become the restful atmosphere around me.
Along with my love for artistic creativity and music, I adore meditating. Meditation is a miraculous way to stop your mind from wandering into negative rabbit holes. It allows your consciousness to breathe and your heart space to be healed.
I am very proud to say that my mental health has greatly increased because of my enhancement in relaxation practices. I am a much better person than I was because I knew how to truly relax myself and embrace the quiet collectedness around me.
Thank you for reading.
