I am a funny, outgoing, and intelligent human being. I love my dog, my home and I love that I am a recovering addict! I have spent the last 12 years recovering from an addiction to opiates, and I would not trade my experience in recovery for anything. My experience has taught me how to be self-reliant, and has taught me how to treat people as well as many other attributes about myself that I am proud of. My main goal, right now, is to apply and be admitted into the Human Services program at Rogue Community College by Fall 2020. I want to specialize in Medication Assisted Treatment, due to my practical experience in the field and my desire to work with people, who are addicts seeking recovery. I believe that I will thrive in this environment as a CADC1 or, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor1, because I will be able to give back to the community that has assisted me in my recovery for so long. I am excited to join my cohort in 2020, and start my journey as a student of RCC in the Human Services program
