Hi, my name Is Ayden Powers and I live in Modesto, CA. My main hobbies are fishing, watching football, and working out. Hi my name is Ayden Powers, I am 20 years old living in Modesto, CA. I have 3 sibling show all look up me for care and reliability. I chose to pursue a career as a lineman because of my strong interest in mechanical and electrical systems and my desire to create a better future for my family. I’ve always been fascinated by how the power grid works and how electricity supports our daily lives. This field offers me the chance to combine hands-on technical work with my curiosity about engineering, while also providing a stable and rewarding career. My decision to enter the trades is deeply personal. Growing up, I faced significant challenges, including instability at home and financial hardship. As the oldest of four siblings, I’ve always felt a responsibility to provide for my family and give my younger siblings the opportunities I didn’t have. Becoming a lineman will not only allow me to support them financially but also inspire them to strive for their own goals. My experiences have shaped my strong work ethic and my determination to succeed despite the obstacles I’ve faced. I plan to excel in this field because I am determined, a hard worker, and experienced in working within a team. Playing football in high school taught me the value of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance—qualities I know will serve me well in this career. I am used to tackling challenges head-on and putting in the effort needed to succeed, both for myself and for those counting on me. I’ve also been working hard to overcome personal obstacles, such as quitting smoking, because I know that this career demands focus, discipline, and a commitment to excellence. This career appeals to me because it offers the opportunity to travel, solve complex problems, and work in a dynamic, essential field that directly impacts people’s lives. It’s not just a job but a chance to build something meaningful for my future and my family’s future. By pursuing this path, I hope to break the cycles of struggle I’ve experienced and provide my siblings with a stable and supportive environment. My ultimate goal is to give my family opportunities they deserve, such as covering medical expenses or helping with college, without breaking the bank. Becoming a lineman represents more than a career choice—it’s my way of proving that I can rise above my past and build a better life for myself and my loved ones.

My name is Ayden Powers, I am 20 years old and currently living in Modesto, CA. I have three siblings: Elijah, Lael, and Kaiyen. I am pursuing an education to become a lineman. Before deciding on this path, I was on my way to becoming a physical therapist. However, after a fallout with my parents, I decided attending trade school would be the best way for me to better myself and provide for my siblings in the future. I am motivated to pursue a career in the trades because I have a strong interest in mechanical and electrical systems. I’ve always been curious about how our power grid works and how electricity supports everyday life. After completing school, my goal is to become a journeyman lineman. Not only would this career allow me to travel, which I love, but it would also give me the financial stability to care for my siblings and give them a better childhood than I had. My siblings are my biggest motivation. As the oldest, I feel a responsibility to ensure they grow up with more opportunities and stability than I experienced. Growing up, I was often caught in the middle of fights between my parents, bouncing between their houses depending on who was willing to deal with me at the time. I was a quiet kid who struggled to make friends because I frequently moved and was labeled by other parents as someone to avoid due to my family’s reputation. Sports became my escape, even though I had to walk to practice and rely on leftover cleats or spikes because we couldn’t afford new ones. When I was 16, my dad remarried and moved away, leaving me to live with my mom and siblings full-time. Since then, I’ve taken on a significant role in helping out at home. This experience has shaped my work ethic and deepened my determination to succeed. I’ve also been working hard to overcome personal challenges, like quitting smoking, as I know this career demands discipline and focus. My biggest hope and goal at the end of all this I'll be able to afford hospital bills without having to get loans or pay for my family's college without having to break the bank. Choosing this path isn’t just about building a career—it’s about breaking cycles, creating a brighter future for my siblings, and proving to myself that I can rise above the challenges of my past. I won’t let them or myself down.

Hi, I’m Ayden Powers, and I’m 20 years old from Modesto, CA. I have three siblings: Elijah, Lael, and Kaiyen. I’m planning to attend Northwestern Lineman College in California to become a lineman, a career I chose because I’ve always been fascinated by how electrical systems work. Originally, after high school, I wanted to be a physical therapist and go to a four-year university. But because my mom was sick and money was tight, I ended up going to a junior college in Modesto for a semester. I was studying kinesiology, but I found it boring and didn’t feel passionate about it. I continued with summer classes but found myself zoning and not being involved as much as I would like in class. During a summer job seal-coating parking lots, I realized I really enjoyed working with my hands and fixing thingsAfter talking with my family and friends, my dad suggested I look into lineman school. A friend of his had gone down that path, so I did some research, and it clicked for me. It felt like the perfect fit. Now, my plan is to get into lineman school, finish the program, and secure an apprenticeship. I want to work my way up in the industry and build a long-term career. I’m confident I’ll succeed because I’m always eager to learn, and I love seeing the results of my hard work. I’m also a really dedicated person. My background in football has taught me how to work well with a team, and I think that will help me a lot in this field. After not being able to afford college for myself, I want to make sure my siblings and future children never have to worry about school costs. As the oldest sibling, I feel a responsibility to be a good role model and set them up for success. For me, success is about being able to provide for my family. I want to be able to pay for things like hospital bills or college tuition without worrying about going into debt. But just as important, I want to be someone who leaves a positive impact on others, whether that’s helping someone or just making them smile. I’m driven to succeed because quitting is not an option. I refuse to let down the people who believe in me, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make my dreams—and my family’s dreams—come true.

Hi my name is Ayden Powers, I am 19 years old and I live in Modesto, CA. I have 3 siblings named Elijah, Lael, and Kaiyen. Before I decided to attend a trade school I was on my way to becoming a physical therapist, but after a fallout with my parents I decided it would be best for me to attend a trade school in order to better help my myself and my siblings in the future. I am motivated to pursue a career in the trades because I am very interested in mechanical and electrical engineering on all types of platforms. I would really love to learn more about how our power grid and electrical systems work. After schooling I would love to become a journeyman lineman because I love to travel and I would be able to care of my siblings and allow them to experience a better childhood. I also choose this major/career because I have been struggling to stop smoking weed to deal with stress and other problems in my life but as a line worker that is off limits so I am making a valiant effort to better myself and my mental state. I am the oldest son of 4 and my siblings are my biggest motivation because I want them to have a way better childhood than I did growing up. As I was growing up I was constantly in the middle of fight between our parents and constantly going back and forth from houses based on who wanted to deal with me that day. While I was young I was a really quite kid and didn't have many friends due to the fact that I would always be in different cities than where I went to school, many parent told their kids to stay away from me because It was well known my family was very disruptive to say the least. As a result I tried to distract myself with sports walking to practice most of the time and walking back after , I didn't have enough money to pay for football cleats or track spikes so I would use old ones that people left from the year before. As I got into high school my dad remarried another woman and moved away from us but I was till going back and forth between houses until I was about 16. Ever since I have lived with my mom and sibling trying my best to help out and take care of them. This is why I am highly motivated to pursue a career in the trades and can not fail because I have people counting on me

I have seen all of these take a toll on my family and friends first hand and If I can do anything to help that all I need to here.

Hi my name is Ayden Powers, I am 19 years old and I live in Modesto, CA. I have 3 siblings named Elijah, Lael, and Kaiyen. The trades in modern society are very important many people believe that trade schools are for dropout or people who couldn't get into college but that couldn't be further from the truth. The trades today help society go round with them you wouldn't have electricity, water, gas, or in some cases even a home to live in. The trades quite literally are apart of everything we use today, without them we would be lost. Most of my personal goals and aspirations in the trades have to do with family. I would love to become one of the top mineworker in the country and be able to travel. As I've played sports my whole life I am very competitive and always strive to be the best whether it comes to studying, playing video games, or even just cooking. I always look for ways I can improve myself and life for the people that I am very fond of. Before I decided to attend a trade school I was on my way to becoming a physical therapist, but after a fallout with my parents I decided it would be best for me to attend a trade school in order to better help my myself and my siblings in the future. Ever since I have lived with my mom and sibling trying my best to help out and take care of them. The trades have personally impacted my life because I saw how other people in my life were able to help their families after they went through trades. For example, my girlfriend's father(construction) and her brother in law(lineman) both were apply to give their families better lives and it was all through hard work and determination. As I referenced earlier I played sports pretty much my whole life and this has instilled generosity, respect, innovation, and teamwork in me. For generosity I am looking to not only do this for myself but I am doing it for my family and people around me that need help but can't get I themselves. Helping people has always been something that I hold myself in a high regard for whether it is grabbing the remote for someone in the other room or giving a stranger a jump because their car broke down. I am a huge believe karma comes back to you in many ways. In reference to innovation I love coming up with new ideas to make life easier for the people around me in fact I even have journal full of these ideas.
