Throughout my life I have seen people help others, I have grown up in a home where if someone needed help they would receive it. Throughout this time I will describe what I am going to do for my community and how I will succeed in school. I will take initiative for the things I will do and what I plan to do. I have grown up in a home where helping is always number one, my mother taught me to always lend a helping hand to anyone I cross paths with. I will continue my education to help others around me. I want to help a community that needs what I can offer. I will start at Hardin-Simmons in the fall and will pursue a career in pharmacy; where I will then transfer to Texas Tech to receive my Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. I have the plan to further my education and to not only help myself but others as well. I have had the opportunity to work in a pharmacy where I see the behind-the-scenes of all pharmacists’ work. I have worked under four amazing pharmacists who genuinely care about their community and are willing to do all they can to give people the best care. I plan to follow in the steps of these great pharmacists because I see how much helping others joys them in life. I want to be able to help with insurance problems, medication problems, and other things that may need to be helped with. I want to grow my experience with internships at other pharmacies, so I can see what else I can offer. I want to benefit my community and society by showing that small-town students can go and do big things in their community and around them. After college, I plan to move out of state and become a pharmacist where I land. I will live a good life and have an experience that will help me grow. I have always had a passion for helping those around me from a young age, my mother has always been the biggest influence in my life. I want to continue my education to show her and others around me, older or younger, that you can do anything you think is possible. I want to be able to grow old in a home where I know I helped all I can to better myself and the community around me. I have always wanted a great life for myself, and I solely believe with the plan I have obtained I can do that.

I have always had a passion for helping those around me from a young age, my mother has always been the biggest influence in my life. My mother has overcome many challenges in her life that have made her a better person. She is the person I look up to and rely on for advice. She has faced hardships from discrimination to not making ends meet for a certain bill. She has tried throughout her life to make my and my brothers live better and has rightfully done so. I could not be happier to call her my mother and to see her overcome all she has. I have seen her struggle to receive the proper care when it comes to her medication. I have seen her struggle to come up with the money to pay for her medication. I love my mother dearly and she is the biggest role model in my life. She goes after what she wants and I can't be more thankful for her. Therefore, I want to continue my education to show her and others around me, older or younger, that you can do anything you think is possible. I want to help make medication affordable with the proper care. I want to be able to grow old in a home where I know I helped all I can to better myself and the community around me. I have always wanted a great life for myself, and I solely believe with the plan I have obtained I can do that.
