My goal for college is to gain experiences transferable to both life and my fields of study: project management and supply chain management. I'm a hard worker and not afraid of difficult work. I cannot wait for all the new opportunities.

Growing up, I always knew the value of hard work. However, it wasn't until I began the International Baccalaureate program and started working a job that I honestly understood the importance of dedicating myself to a rigorous schedule. Through the coveted IB learner traits, I learned communication which especially aided my career in the kitchen as I dealt with high stress situations constantly. These skills helped me succeed academically, but they also allowed me to take on more responsibilities at work which made me a much better candidate for promotions.
Working a job during high school not only taught me the importance of earning a living but also allowed me to become financially independent. I learned how to manage my finances, budget my expenses, and save for my future and college. While proficient in savings, the cost of college is a huge financial burden on myself and my family, which is why I still must seek independent scholarships.
This scholarship would help me pursue my academic and career goals by providing me with financial assistance, allowing me to focus on my studies and extracurricular activities. It would also allow me to participate in various leadership and community service activities, which align with a passion I hold dearly for being an exceptional member of the community.
