Hello, My name is Arnesha Tatum. Over the years I have always strived to make the best impact on this around me. Sometimes having a heart as big as minecan come with many challenges, but I continue to push through no matter what. I tend to continuously put others before myself and have an urge to help those in need, no matter how small the gesture. During COVID 2019, I started a small business cooking and catering meals for families for a no cost or a very low cost to assist with the cost of life and ill families during this time. Family dinners also became a priority in my home and opportunity for much needed quality time. I also take pride in being one of the best cooks in the family. My grandmother taught me how to cook starting at 7 years old. Overtime, I grew a passion for cooking and caring/serving others. Many of the recipes curated by myself are from scratch and prepared with love. Furthermore, I do not come from a wealthy family. It is my dream to change my family’s financial status and to build wealth for many generations to come. I will also soon to be the first to graduate college with honors, majoring in Real Estate for Fall of 2024. My goal was to graduate college Cum Laude and I will be doing just that. I am overjoyed with this accomplishment because it will follow me for the rest of my life and open many doors for me. I am also proud to be a great example to my siblings and out a smile on my mothers face. In the long run, my goal is to provide meals and low cost homes for underprivileged families. I plan to inspire other young entrepreneurs and assist low income communities. I believe that with the proper plan and mentorship, I can achieve anything that I set my heart on. If I am awarded this grant I will use this to invest in myself and my dreams. I have procured a business plan for my goals and am ready to take my skills to the next level. I will use this funding for school, to purchase equipment, promote my brand and take part in mentorships. I am determined to make the lives of many easier, and comfortable.
