The sentence I would share with the world would be “Do not let yesterday's rainstorm hide tomorrow’s sunshine”.
Overall, this is a motivational quote that I like to live by. Generally, I am a positive and upbeat person. My mom used to read me this quote, especially if I was upset.
The part referring to yesterday’s rainstorm signifies an upsetting event that may have occurred. It could be a depressive episode, a traumatic experience, or even a small inconvenience. We have the capability to persevere through anything that may be thrown our way.
Tomorrow’s sunshine refers to a fresh day. New days bring new beginnings. Positivity may be derived from these new days.
Too often, we catch ourselves dwelling on the past. While some events may take longer to overcome than others, there will always be a brighter day ahead. My best advice is to keep your head high, and I would recommend looking forward. Even though it may not seem like it now, new beginnings are always possible. Do not let your worries, fears, and gloominess take away from joy, happiness, and creativity.

I am sure you’ve been at athletic events and a player gets injured. It certainly happens to the best of us. People called athletic trainers rush to the field or court to tend to the player. They prevent, treat, and rehabilitate injured players. That is my dream.
I will first attend the Pennsylvania State University to achieve a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, while minoring in nutrition. This will prepare me for a master's athletic training. Following graduation, I will take the exam from the Board of Athletic Trainers to become certified. From there, I will be able to work with athletes across the nation.
My biggest dream is to achieve a position in either the NFL or the NBA. I have grown up watching sports, so this would truly be a dream come true. I have always wanted to be a part of the medical field in some way, but I did not want to be tied down in a hospital. This career would be the perfect fit for me, and I am so excited to pursue it.

Seagulls will devour your French fries, regardless of what it may take. Some are much less stubborn than others. Some rather fight fiercely over a fried treat.
On our annual family vacation to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, my mom, my sister, and I decided to stop at a restaurant for some lunch. This restaurant was beautiful. We sat rooftop to overlook the beach and inhale the warm, salty air. We spent all day at the beach below us, so I was pretty crisped from the sun and I was starving. Boogie boarding works up a real appetite.
The wait for the restaurant was about a half hour, so we decided to stand on the top deck until our name was called. A multitude of screaming seagulls circled the establishment. They were on a mission. Most customers chose wraps, fish, or burgers to eat. Me? Well I chose chicken fingers and French fries. You can never go wrong with a classic.
We were finally seated at a table near the balcony. The view was gorgeous and the sea breeze felt spectacular on my sun burnt skin. When the sun waitress took our order, she warned my mom about the feisty birds flying overhead. We blew it at first. What bird would have the nerve to take food from a human?
As we got our food, more and more seagulls began to circle around us. One after another, they landed on the balcony. They screamed to their hungry friends, and they invited them to come watch my family and I eat. My younger sister counted the birds before the catastrophe. There were 38. 38 birds waited patiently for me to drop a fry.
I was young and kindhearted. I figured feeding the birds one fry couldn’t hurt. Against my mother’s word, I tossed a French fry onto the balcony. The seagulls went berserk. They screamed and pecked at each other until one ate the fry. They angrily flapped their wings, anxious to battle over another piece of food.
I reluctantly tossed two more fries. This time, about half the birds went airborne. They circled over our heads in a white, feathery storm. It was quite terrifying. Three landed on the table. My sister jumped so hard, she knocked her pink lemonade all over herself. My mom was screaming, and I tried to back away without disturbing the birds. They yelled and puffed out their chests until we left them alone.
The cleaver birds took my whole basket of fries and dumped them everywhere. More seagulls flocked to the area to feast. My mom was livid, but more concerned at the fact that I was nearly attacked. It was terrifying at first.
Looking back, I laugh at this situation. I think of it nearly every time I visit the beach. I did learn to never feed the seagulls because they will indeed take over. My reaction made it the funniest. I am sure you could imagine the face of a 12 year old who nearly took on 40 birds.
